I bought a 2019 ****** Impreza in August 2022, a vehicle, according to the FL DOT, belongs to a bank, and I was not issued a valid Certificate of Title, one necessary to operate the car. I called and wrote this company many times in vain. That's why I am requesting the BBB to assist.

It doesn't make any sense what the customer is saying. If the customer doesn't register the vehicle, of course is not going to be able to get a title as never was registered in ******* or any other state as the customer is not from **. As soon as they receive the title they have to register in their state. We are a dealer, we do reassignments in the titles, we do not register every vehicle under the dealer's name, its not an obligation or necessary.

Again, if the customer wants a duplicate of title because they lost it, we will be able to get a duplicate that will be send the same way with ***** so we and the customer has a tracking number as the one they received before. Our email is ******************************** The can always email us to request the duplicate title.

We NEVER sell a car without title. We are a dealer that has been in business for more than 7 years, we are aware we cant and NEVER have, sell a vehicle without a title.

      Good afternoon,

we don't have information for the specific matter. Indeed we sell damage vehicles, we sale salvage, rebuildable, junk. The type of title of the vehicles are always disclosed and the damages of the cars as well. However, we always tell all futures clients when they call, that they are more than welcome to send an inspector before making any deposit. If we receive any call, our salesperson send even videos of the cars we have posted for sale, so the clients can have a better view.

I saw a vehicle listed on **** for sale by AE of Miami (they use different company names to sell their vehicles). I made an offer that was not accepted (on ***** then made another offer and it was accepted (on *****. I didn't know that they had taken the vehicle off **** after they accepted my offer so they could sell to me OFF ***** Doing this cancels my **** buyers' protection that **** offers. They then send me a form to sign saying my deposit was non-refundable. I was confused because the **** ad does NOT say the deposit is non-refundable and at the time I didn't know the vehicle was taken off ****. They are doing this to people other than me so they can scam people out of their deposits. I found this out after doing research after they did it to me. This company owes me $500 (my deposit) and they need to be shut down and the owners need to be thrown in jail for fraud! Apparently this is how they are able to stay in business. They scam people out of their deposits. They are selling wrecked vehicles, not disclosing all the damages and then stealing the deposits people are making on the vehicles. They are also demanding full payment within 3 days after deposit is made. If you don't live in ** it is impossible to get to their location in time to inspect the vehicles before your deposit is stolen by them. By the way, they list high-end vehicles for sale as eye candy to make people think they are a real high end and reputable car seller! (examples of ads included in documents.)

On or about Jan22,2024 i contacted this company to discuss buying a car. Upon speaking with Main *** of this buisness he said he would take $29,000 for the vehicle we were discussing. He said he would have to talk with his partner to see if they could take that for the car. i called him back after a few hours and he said $30,000 would be the lowest they could go. at this time i requested more pictures of the car and we discussed damage. The vehicle was a wreck and was a rebuidable. when i asked if there was any other damage to the car than the obvious in the pictures he said no other than an electrical isssue. I purchased the car and asked for verification of payment received and after reading a few reviews online asked if the car in the pictures presented to me was the car that would show up? it offended ********** and communication stopped. when the vehicle showed up it had decking wood screws and sheet metal screws along with zip ties holding panels on. It was also missing the hood from the pictures and a diffrent front wheel from what i had purchased. it was a bait and switch. These guys are straight crooks,i would recommend noone buy a bolt let alone a car from these people. i have the pictures that were emailed to me and the actual car that showed up. I would hope not only to get the message out to keep someone else ***** getting scammed.

      Hi,

this vehicle was sold as a damage, inoperable, airbags deployed, electrical issues car. The customer was aware of this at the time of purchase as well is stated in the sales contract that has been signed by the customer as well, see attachments. Also attached are the pictures of this car posted on our website.

We always encourage the customer to inspect or send someone to inspect the vehicle before putting a deposit or making a final payment. We sell damage cars, as is, no warranty or arbitration.

The customer received the same car in the same condition as it was advertised.

This car was grossly misrepresented. I was aware of it being wrecked. I was not told it was a hard rollover with parts zip ties and screwed together with wood screws. This car has mismatched body panels. The company obviously welded parts, put a windshield in it and done what patch job they could just to s**** someone on a sale. They are crooks, plain and simple.

      Good afternoon,

We can resell the vehicle in our lot on behalf of the customer as a consignment car, we will need the vehicle here at the dealership. Whatever the price the customer agrees on posting the vehicle for sale, and is a fair price on the market for this type of car, we can do. As soon as the vehicle sells, and we receive the payment of the sale and clears in our bank, we will send a wire or check to him.

I am rejecting this response because: I have asked for specifics on how the consignment would work. I haven't received anything from anyone in the request. I would like to know ALL the stipulations, specifics and time frame of such an arrangement.

      Sincerely,

We can post the vehicle for sale up to 3 months on our websites. The car doesn't have to be here, as most of our vehicles we sell it over the phone or online. We will just need updated pictures as of today. We will post the vehicle for a fair market price, and until it sells, we will send the profits to the customer.

Attached is an example of the forms the customer has to fill out. This is not our vehicle any longer, but the customers.

      Regards.

Company refuses to return calls or give any information on how to expedite their proposal. I need to know where to send pictures and other information from the company. I would do a consignment resale through them if they would communicate....

I was looking for a car. I called and enquired about a 2019 ****** that was about $5000 to $6000 dollars I asked the employee what was wrong with the car and he said the car drives back and forth. It got wet inside but that means it could have been a bit of water inside. The car works. I said I wanted to see it and if I could come by. ****** said to pay a deposit so I can pay the rest in 2 days just so no one will take the car I sent him my id and he kept asking for more ids. I did more research on the car I asked friends and they all said flooded and savage means the insurance has been claimed because this car cant be driven. I then got a receipt where it said there was no refun for my $500 dollars and they would not refund me under any circumstances. I texted ****** asking him why he took my $500 in the first place and to give me a refund. This was all within the same day. I asked for a refund of a deposit to be able to see the car. ****** doesnt speak fully Spanish or English and then he tells me his main language is Italian. I asked him and called the establishment multiple times to refund me and they wouldnt. I live in *************** didnt even see the car. Didnt sign anything and they think they can keep ripping off people who are not very knowledgeable. I want at least my money back. Theyve caused me anxiety and stress. No one should go through this

      Good morning

All the deposits for all cars are not refundable, that's the dealership policy. The reason for this is because once the vehicle receives a deposit, we take it out of all the websites posted for sale, so the customer don't lose the car to another client and we also don't have the opportunity to sell it to another possible client. Attached is the deposit showing all deposits are not refundable, we apply this to all customers with no exception.

The vehicle is indeed a salvage car, meaning it has to be inspected to be able to drive legally, we specialized in selling damage vehicles. Once it get inspected, it can be registered, its not a car for parts, it was a car reported flood.

30th Sept 2022 purchased vehicle VIN ***************** from Elite motor cars Miami, Sales person ML, The deposit $1000 was paid on 30th sept and remainder ********* was paid on 3rd October. The vehicle was advertised as clean title needing some work for parts a previous owner had removed and did not drive. i queried if teh vehicle had all main *****************, gearbox, ecus to which teh dealer stated yes. i had the vehicle delivered adn been informed that the title would be sent ***** to me.the vehicle was delivered October 6th and upon inspection was noted to have multiple critical components missing and was more akin to a car that had been used for parts to repair other vehicles. the car has multiple missing environmental features, such as fuel cap. immobilizer ECU, traction control ECU, parking ecu, mismatched gearbox, missing locks, incorrect key. the vehilce also had been shown adn still is shown as for sale on multiple auction websites. it also has been in auction with bio hazard markings that had not been declared to me. while these can and most have been fixed at an increased costs to me, the most critical part is that still almost 3 months after the sale i am still unable to obtain a plate for this clean title vehicle as i have no title from the dealer to do so.i have texted about the missing items and asked they search for them and ive asked for the title. my calls and texts are ignored. today i have called again and been hung up on trying to obtain this title. ******* DMV have no record of the title even being looked at never mind transferred.i have the paperwork for the sale, i have the texts of the exchange with the sales guy, the company have records of my calls recorded which i was not prior informed of. they also failed to adequately sign all paperwork . agreement attached.i need this resolved some way and give the opportunity to the dealer to make this right prior to starting legal proceedings.

      Good afternoon,

The vehicle is a damage vehicle, you can see in the pictures posted for sale in our website, so it will carry some issues. It required some fixing to do in order to being able to be driven. Attached are the pictures posted.

Indeed we haven't been able to provide the title to the customer. The vehicle is a clean title, the issue we had is that the title was lost on the way to the dealer, and we had to order a duplicate which should take two weeks because it was expedited, but still we have to wait for the state and sometimes they take longer. We are aware of this, so we call every couple of days but we keep getting the same answer, the state is working on it.

The title will be provided to the customer as a clean title as soon as we the duplicate with us.

We are really sorry with the customer, we have been answering emails and phones calls received from him. Still working on it.

I am rejecting this response because:

We have now past 90 days and i still have no title, on background checking the vehicle i see no movement has been done to obtain said title.  how then could it be lost on way to dealer??

i am well aware of the damage to the vehicle and im also aware of the recorded conversation we had and the text messages on my cell confirming condition, presence of named components.  i did not expect to be provided a parts car with multiple critical components removed or replaced with faulty components.

it is clear this vehicle was used to part out for other vehicles and the shell sold as a clean title/salvage vehicle.

      Sincerely,

      Hope this closes this case.
