      We purchased a brand new boat from this company last year. Since then it has been in the service department six times each time we have dealt with Scott in the service department who does not return calls and does not answer questions and has never listened to the actual issue or issues that we have had. Now, James the service manager has had our boat for 2 weeks and has not touched it. They do not return phone calls, they do not call back email request and they do not support the warranty and extended warranty we even purchased over and above the regular warranty. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

      Purchased a new boat. Initially I had to wait so that the boat could be "cleaned" and "inspected." Roughly 2 days after taking possession of the boat and having brought it home I was able to check the boat myself and found several issues. (See attached email to the salesman) I emailed the salesman who has yet to respond to me. 2 weeks later I messaged the GM, who responded and told me he would look into it. 4 weeks now since the initial contact and I have yet to hear one word about fixing the problems with the boat.

      Had my boat listed on FB and Shane from Legendary contacted me and said I can get you $72K so we wrote up the contract. The boat was clean but agreed if they thought a wax/detail was need I gave the go ahead for $400-500 no problem. They had an offer first day and said there were multiple back up offers, said the first one would net $70K so I said try the backup offers and didn't hear anything back for a few weeks. Then I hear there's an issue with the Rhodan GPS trolling motor, which was a surprise but whatever, I have an extended warranty that covers it. I told him to let me know the cost to fix it because If it's less than I will get back cancelling the extended warranty I will pay for it. Last week I got a call and said boats sold and my net is $69K, I was like what? Oh we found some hull damage and that and a detail was $1100, and we pulled a new trolling motor off the floor and put it on. I said have the manager Scott call me and he says yeah Rhodan was doing a software update so I pulled a new trolling motor and put it on so I wouldn't lose the sale. I though it sounded fishy, so I contacted Rhodan and they laughed, said sounds like they stalled on ordering because Rhodan is out of Tampa and literally get here in 1 day. He also said he will use my warranty to fix the old motor and sell it to recoup some money. So, I basically paid the for that warranty twice and I'm sure they made money on the boat while I came out of pocket $4K to make the payoff. I bought that boat from them, and they wouldn't come off the price $1 so I guess they got me twice but there will never be a third, the Legendary in Pensacola is actually worse if you can believe that. Everything about the transaction was shady and communication was terrible at best.

      First and foremost, I need to reach out to the store to get the facts and decipher if there is any written correspondence between Mr. ****** and the Store itself. All of our Consignment dealings have signed documents between us, the seller as well as the buyer. I will update once I have received such data.

      We contacted Legendary Marine to discuss selling our 21 foot pontoon. The salesman, Shane, made an offer to purchase the boat (sight unseen). The offer remained the same after Shane examined the boat. We made an appointment to take the boat to Legendary Marine to complete the paperwork on Friday, 8/12/2022. All paperwork was signed, including a bill of sale. We asked Shane if it was ok to cancel our insurance policy. He said yes and we did. We expected to leave with a check that day, but we were told that checks were only printed on Thursday and that we could pick up the check on 8/18/2022. We were uneasy leaving without a check, but we had a bill of sale and this was a business with multiple locations so we felt secure in what they were telling us. We called on Friday, 8/19/2022 and asked if the check was ready. We were told by Shane that he transposed a digit in the vin number incorrectly and because of this, the check was not printed that week, but it would be ready the next Thursday, which was 8/25/2022. On 8/25/2022 we contacted Shane (via text) and asked about getting the check and were told that the mail had not come in yet and we would receive a call when the check was in the office. Later that afternoon, we received a call from Scott (the used boat sales manager) and he proceeded to tell us that the motor runs great, but the compression was a little lower than their standards. Scott said that he would try to find another dealer that would buy the boat at the agreed upon price. We stated that Legendary Marine already purchased the boat at the agreed upon price and we were owed the money. After convincing us the deal was done (even signing a bill of sale) they are now saying that the "Compression Check" is in the contract, which it is NOT. The bill of sale, which they authored, states that the boat was sold "AS-IS". They have had our boat for 2 weeks and only told us about an issue after we pressed multiple times for payment.

      I was contacted by Legendary Marine and they have honored the bill of sale. Payment has been received as of 8/27/2022. Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.
