RRCA replaced our roof following Hurricane ***. Their work was completed in April 2023. They were paid in full through our insurance company. We spend our ******* up north. In June 2024 our neighbor contacted us and sent a picture of water damage to our ceiling which had appeared after we left for our summer home. I sent that picture (attached) to the person who managed our replacement project. He responded by saying he would initiate resolution action. I have not heard form him since. The email exchange I had with ***** ******* is attached.Failing a response from this individual, I began calling RRCA's Naples office to seek help with a warranty claim. I left messages on their line dedicated to warranty claims numerous times, providing the job description information included with this complaint and my telephone number. Having received no response to these messages, I began leaving messages on a line dedicated to active projects. I have not received a response to these messages either.Last month, I renewed my effort to reach the individual I worked with during the replacement project. I emailed him with both the June 2024 photo and one taken in February 2025 showing that the water damage was increasing. That email and another one sent to my initial contact (a Sales Representative) both came back undeliverable.RRCA's failure to respond to any of my pleas for help is enormously frustrating. I believe the water leakage is in an isolated area which can be repaired expeditiously under their warranty. We will be heading north in April and I am fearful that this problem if not dealt with will only become worse once the rainy season arrives.RRCA's promotional literature indicates they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. ROOF DID NOT PASS INSPECTION!Not only did it take 8 MONTHS to get the roof after signing our contract in April 2024 (previous complaint).Roof put in December 2, 2024 by a SUBCONTRACTOR, not even this company! They came late in the day and did half the work AFTER DARK! The inspection FAILED and after repeatedly calling and being told "someone will be out this week..."Here we are almost 3 Months later (2/21/25) and still have not had our roof looked at. I am rejecting this response because: we need further information as to an exact date, due to the fact we have to be present at our home to allow access in our attic. A vague comment that it will be completed by Monday does not secure the day and time I require to take off from work. And by which Monday? There are quite a few left this year and since this original contract was signed April 2024, I have no confidence that the next Monday 3/31/25 is actually the reference. Please be more specific as I have no more patience.

I signed contract on May 16, 2024. Contractor managers ****** ******* and ****** ***** promised me to install new roof no later than July. It was very important for me because August 28 I needed to renew home insurance policy and new roof should significantly reduce premium. I couldn't imagine what a nightmare awaited me ahead.After numerous calls, emails, text messages, false promises first team appeared only on October 28, 2024. The removed old roof materials and put roofing underlayment. The next team appeared more than in a month on December 5, 2024. They put shingles on one third of the roof and left.Till now, January ******* my roof is still not finished and company is simply ignoring me.Roof underlayment is unprotected within 3 month and leaks can start any time. In addition, there is a violation of technical rules, what calls the quality of installation and warranty into question.Therefore, I demand an independent examination of the roof condition and immediate completion of work with the received recommendations.Business Response

On 10/09 of this year, Hurricane ****** affected us significantly. We promptly contacted RRCA to arrange for a representative to assess the need for a new roof. ****** *******, referred to as "****," was assigned to our case and confirmed that a new roof was necessary, as our existing roof was the original from 2004 and had suffered extensive shingle loss and interior water damage. I reached out to our insurance, which dispatched an adjuster who met with **** at our home on 10/19. The adjuster concurred that a new roof was required, and by Sunday, 10/21, we received approval for the roof replacement along with an initial payout of $5,143.07. On 11/07, the same day we signed the contract with RRCA, **** was also handed the check. The following week, my husband and I paid our deductible of $6,136.00 using his credit card. On 12/10, my husband and I were notified by **** that the production team had ordered the necessary materials. On 12/12, we received a message from **** confirming that construction was scheduled for the 18th. I contacted **** on Monday 12/16 to ask about the delivery of the large trash can, **** replied that the situation for Tuesday or Wednesday did not appear promising and requested that I call him. During the call on Monday, I learned that the company is not only trying to delay for two more weeks but has also canceled our supply order. Today, I contacted RRCA and spoke with ******* ****** regarding the status of our build. She informed me that they are awaiting a response from the production team. I mentioned that we were told the build would be completed today, to which she asked who provided that information. After I explained that it was ****, she noted my details on a sticky note and inquired if we could give her a call back tomorrow 12/19 at 12pm as she has a lot on her plate.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:company informed me since deposit was retracted by american express,they could no longer do the job unless i forwarded back the $9000-and i was in default for voiding the contract and they want a 20% fee for cancelling the contract----the contract states work is to be done in a timely manor---i believe 5 months is long enough without being penalized for notgoing forward with the project---tried to offer them down payment and cost of delivered materials--when they were delivered,but they said they would not send materials without deposit and told me they would send me a cancellation notice with a 20% fee for cancellation-----i will not pay a ***** and im happy american express has issued my money back----this company has many complaints and i will never do business with them

This is not correct. There was never an offer to make a down payment. I will gladly order the materials and get this roof started but without a payment on the account I cannot order materials. I was in the same roof when you had the call with *****. The call ended with you saying you would retain a lawyer. They put a new roof on my home about three months ago and it leaked badly about two months ago. It caused damage to the ceiling, walls, and floor. The had an employee out within a few days and he said the flashing was done incorrectly and it needed to be fixed. He added some caulking and said it was temporary and the would get back to me with a date to fix it and the inside damage to the home. We'll that was two months ago and they do not return calls now at all and no date to fix anything has been given.Business Response

They have taken care of the roof leaking problem as far as we can tell until we get heavy rain to see.
All the inside damage has not been taken care of yet and we do not have any date on that being fixed. This is a big problem as we have black mold and need this to be fixed as well

Icontracted RRCA Roofing (Roofing & Reconstruction Contractors of America - RRCA) to replace my roof with the insurance claim money which included detaching and reattaching solar panels. I paid a 50% deposit upfront, $12500 trusting their professional reputation. However, their handling of this project has been unacceptable.After signing the contract, RRCA failed to maintain communication and made no progress for months. Despite repeated attempts to get updates for my roofing job that was scheduled for July 15th I was met with unresponsiveness and empty assurances. I have proof that several weeks would pass without a reply to my concerns, forcing me to issue a formal Letter of Intent to Act last week since this is going on for over four months now. Instead of addressing the issues or fulfilling their contractual obligations, RRCA chose to cancel the project, leaving me without a completed roof and my significant deposit unreturned. Their decision to cancelafter weeks of delays and inactiondemonstrates a lack of professionalism and respect for their ************ of today, ********************** has neither completed the roof nor refunded my deposit. This has caused unnecessary stress, financial burden to my family. Their disregard for contractual commitments and unprofessional conduct have left me deeply dissatisfied and compelled to file this complaint with the BBB to warn others.I seek a full refund of my deposit or immediate completion of the contracted work.Business Response

RRCA installed a new roof on our house in *********. We have the warranty on the roof from RRCA which states 5 years on the steep slope potion of the roof and 2 years on low slopes. We received the warranty dated 2/6/2023 once all work was completed. We noticed a leak in our garage and water stains on the ceiling in a stairwell on the third floor. We started calling them the third week in September of 2024 and leaving messages every week on their warranty option in their phone tree. We have yet to receive a call back from them. We eventually found a direct number and have spoken to a couple of people who promise someone will get back with us. Again no call back.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: After filing this complaint, the only contact after months of attempts is the father of the owner (our understanding) reach out stating he would come by and look at the roof. As of this morning we sent him another text and he stated it maybe next week or by 1/10/25. We tried calling the number provided by the business in the response to no avail (no answer). We tried leaving a message. The warranty states **** force winds, etc. Not gusts of wind. We have had no major storms since this roof was installed.At this point, we are waiting on them to come out and look at the roof.

In October of 2022, i signed a contract with RRCA to do my roof. I received funds from my insurance company in June of 2024. I called RRCA because the check was in my name and the company's name and asked to have them only take out the deposit and refund me the rest. To this day I have not received the amount that was supposed to go to me. They also told me that it would **** * months to get the tiles ordered. I have been inquiring and following up to see where in the process or when my tiles would arrive. I have Emailed a dozen times and called several times. Today is now 11/7 and I still haven't heard anything. I reached out to sharo again today and left a message. I would just like communication as to what is going on. In June I was told it would take 3 months to order the tile. We are now in November and i can't get a direct response as to what the issue is. I just want communication, a call back or a detailed explainable via email. Also please send me receipt of my $60,400 deposit because I still have not received a receipt.
