On February 3, 2022 I called Joes Water to do some work on my water softener salt was not working. I had used them before at my house and after a few problems everything was worked out and I was satisfied that's why I called them again. A service man came out the next day and gave me a couple of options I decided to rebuild the head instead of replacing he said he could do it for $285 and that the service call fee was in with that $285. I agreed to do the job for the 285. He came back the next night around 4 o'clock and was out there till about seven he had no idea what he was doing. He told me he never worked on her unit like mine. After hours out there and my tenant next-door asking him about the machine and he wasn't able to answer any questions. He called me and told me it was done and everything was working fine.He gave me a bill for $420. I paid the bill with the check even though I know he overcharged me. He left and my tenant called me immediately it here was no water at the house. I called The service man and he said he forgot to turn the shut off valve back on. while he waited on the phone I walked over and turned the water on and thought all was good and he was happy that I saved him a trip. The next day there was no salt left in machine and water was pouring out of the softener that he rebuilt and never checked cause how could he without water going to it. He came back the next day and saw the tenant next door and told him I need a new softener head in the amount of $1500.00 that the one he charged me $420.00 to rebuild was now permanently broken cause "Someone took a channel lock to something and broke it."is what he told me over the phone and I ran next door to see what he was talking about and he was gone like the wind. The only one to take tools to it was his service guy. I turned the water valve on by hand and it's not near the head that he worked on. Called Joe water again and again he won't fix it or return check
