    On 6/9/22 I searched for a handyman in my area Jesse Stephens, LLC was who google suggested. I requested a quote, and he responded the same day and said he could come the next day to give me an estimate. On 6/10/22 he came and look at my ceiling and said he would email me with an estimate later that evening which he did. I accepted the quote and paid him $648.00. On 6/11/22 the amount of $648.00 was taken out of my checking account and he scheduled to come fix the ceiling on 6/17/22 at 8am. He didn't show up, so I text and called him. He text back that he thought it was for the next day so he asked could he come on 6/18/22 at 11am and I agreed. On 6/18 he text could he reschedule for another day or if that didn't work he could refund my money. I requested that he just refund me my money and he said he would. On 6/22 I contacted him that I still haven't received it and he claimed that he refunded it on 6/19 to let him check on it. On 6/24 I text him that I was concerned that I still haven't received it and he never responded. On 6/30 I called and spoke with him and he said he would bring me a check later that day and leave it in my mailbox, but he never did. On 7/1 he text he would bring the check before dark and leave it in my mailbox and thanked me for my patience but never brought it. I called him on 7/3 and left him a message so he could hear how upset I was and also to inform him I would be taking further action. Its now 7/5/22 and he still hasn't responded or paid back the $648.00 for a job he never did. I would appreciate any help I can get with this matter. Also I don't want him to be able to scam anyone else. Thank you, Kim Breed
