I am receiving bills from a billing company associated with Dr. Skelly's office for claims that were never submitted to my insurance company. I don't think Dr. Skelly's office is open anymore since they never answer the phone and my insurance company stopped listing her as a doctor in my plan. The charges indicate that they were for a self-pay patient even though I notified Dr. Skelly's office that I had insurance through Medicare and ****** **********. When I called about the erroneous charges, I was told to contact the billing company - Unified Medical Billing. Her office never even looked into the problem and never admitted any responsibility for the clerical errors that caused this problem. Now I'm having problems speaking to someone at Unified Medical Billing. I've tried to reach them on numerous occasions but they take messages and never return my calls. I called them on July 19, Aug. 1, Aug. 13, Aug. 29. On Aug. 29th, I was finally able to talk to someone. She promised to call Medicare to find out why the claims were submitted as self-pay and was supposed to call me back the next day but didn't. She did have the info. that I had health insurance so I don't know why she couldn't have resolved the problem that day. I thought the problem had been solved but now I'm getting threatening bills from the billing company. I called them yesterday and today (10/22). They still say to leave a message but never call back. I want someone to straighten out this mess. They need to file my claims though my insurance company and to let the billing company know that the charges are erroneous. I've had continuous health insurance through Medicare and ****** ********** since 2022. Unified Medical Billing sent me a bill in July for one appointment with a charge of $350. In the current bill, they show 3 appointments that equal $300. Their billing system is a mess.

I am a diabetic trying to get an appointment with my previous doctor (Dr. Charles **********) at his new place. I've tried multiple times to reach/establish an appointment to get me back on my medication (which I obviously need) I've called multiples times, left voicemails, physically gone up there, sent in emails, which was requested by the receptionist, with the information needed to set up the appointment. I have not heard a single thing back from this place. I have never gotten a call back regarding the voicemails left. Not a single thing has been heard from them. I even had the pharmacist call me, after I requested a refill through an app, who also said she could not reach anybody nor heard anything back regarding the medication refill. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical provider in my entire life.
