Today Monday February 10th 2025 I went and talked to **** salesman at this dealership. Went there yesterday sign said open but entire parking lot was empty with all the vehicles open and unlocked. Was weird. Showed up ready to buy a vehicle but no one there. Called again today and told him I'll be there around 4:00 when I get off work. Showed up looking like a construction guy because I'm a contractor and I showed up in a work truck because two of my vehicles flooded during the flood. I showed up looked at the vehicle and asked to go on a test drive. They said no, they wanted a deposit or proof of funds. Never heard of such a thing in my entire life. They will not let you test drive a vehicle unless you show them the money in your hand.....? I used to sell cars for a living that is not the way you do business. Let alone I've been going to many other lots with no issues test driving vehicles. They need to not profile people because I show up with dirty clothes because I'm a contractor doesn't mean I don't have the money. They were extremely rude and disrespectful. And they were demanding a deposit before a test drive.... I've never heard of such a thing. If I give them a deposit and I don't like the vehicle I lose the deposit so why would I give them a deposit. The entire staff was rude not just ****. He introduced me to the owner and he was demanding the same. I explain to them I used to work at a car dealership and I've never heard of such thing and I've been test driving vehicles the last couple weeks with no issues all over dealerships and private. It's funny how they keep the good reviews but the bad ones they kind of hide or they overload good reviews that hides the bad ones. Totally blew my mind and I've never been treated this way.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from this car lot, although it was not the vehicle that I initially went in and looked at the owner after the sales person who called for approval on my buy here pay here application. The owner had told the sales person that there was a better vehicle on the lot that had less mileage and was newer and would probably suit me better as I drive a lot as a cleaner for my business. He then asked the sales person to step outside where I couldnt hear the conversation anymore and I thought nothing of it. He came back in. He said OK well if you want the car, weve gotta take it and have GPS put on it and we have to have the the Freon recharged. I thought. Oh OK. Well, doing me a favor nothing of it And then I can pick the car up the following day so the following day comes I go to pick it up. They drive me over to where it is. Its at an ** place thats sitting outside. I jump in started it and its not blowing cold so I decide all right. Im gonna drive it back to the car lot in the process of driving back to the car lot the ** starts getting cold so I thought OK not a big deal. A week later it started having a problem with the air again I called got blown off sent text messages got blown off. This went on for about six weeks seven weeks and then finally I called and the owner of the property was there and he told me to take it to a auto repair place that was two doors down and I did And hed already spoke to them and I was told when I come to pick the car up that the owner of the car lot was going to purchase the part that was needed to fix the ** that was on a Tuesday the following Monday I call and Im told nope theyre not doing anything to help me fix I took it to another place. Had it repaired it cost me $1400. They told me that the compressor was direct wired to stay on and that thats the reason why it froze up. The owner knew there was a problem. Thats the reason why he took it and had air put in it when I initially bought it.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2014 **** Escape with 77K miles, advertised on CarGurus from Quality Auto Sales of Florida on 11/23/24. On my way home, the car sputtered and died. I towed it to a mechanic and they told me that the water pump was shot and that there was evidence of bottle sealer in the motor used to temporarily mask severe engine issues. The car has not run since the day I bought it. It needs a new motor, and the dealership refuses to take any responsibility. I notified the dealership the very next day on 11/24/24 and spoke to **** who said there was nothing I could do. I requested to talk to the owner, ***** **********, AKA ***** **********. I have attempted several times to reach the owner but he won't get on the phone nor call me back. This has been a devastating financial hit, especially since the car was purchased with funds that I received from an insurance settlement due to a reckless driver totaling my car. I do not have the money to get a new engine and the car is now worthless. This auto dealership engaged in deceptive practices by selling me a car that they knew was mechanically going to fail and advertised it as in great condition.Initial Complaint

I brought a car in April. The outside was in great shape. The radio did not work and air bag light on. They took it to their mechanic shop to fix. Even the carfax report says they fixed. I took it through a car wash the next week and the paint came off and the car looked bad missing paint. Radio still doesnt work and air bag light came back on. This is dangerous. Plus a month later had to replace both control arms as it started pulling to the right randomly. Also it ***** fuel and makes trunk outside black. Engine will fail. Then there's the fact that you can never call them. Msilbox is full or not set up and they do not answer during day. Theyvput my family at risk with this car. Knowingly sold it with air bag issue and scam mechanic. Not even the car i wanted. They did a bait and switch.Initial Complaint

I put down 1500 on a car at Quality auto sales on January 26th I believe not sure but it's within a day or so, within 3 days of having the car a 2010 Nissan Altima the rear tire went flat the transmission motor mount went bad the clutch plate and pulley on the AC compressor seized up which broke the belt, and the power steering was leaking somewhere and the number 3 coil went bad....I was down for two weeks trying to get it fixed and made my February payment late, but made the payment. I am a disabled veteran that only gets paid once a month and cannot afford to put that much down and fix up the car which was 600 dollars just in parts and make the payment and pay my bills....well about a week later my 30 day tag expired and went on to get my permanent plate and the employee informed me that they didn't have the title from the previous owner and hadn't even filed for the title yet...they issued me another 30 temporary tag .I thought it wasn't legal to sell a car in Florida without a title or have it registered within 30 days which i found out that it is....about another week goes by and the owner who sold me the car informs me that i missed January's payment which is impossible cause i gave him 1500 down the last week of January...I made the 414 dollar payment february 29th how could there be a missing payment....well the owner had the car repoed from my house and hasn't answered me yet on why or even attempted to work anything out. If he doesn't want to sell me the car fine I want my money back and selling me a lemon car on top of selling me a car without a title and not getting it registered within 30 days is appalling...I would like my money back I have talked to a lawyer and the only reason I am doing this is a last effort before a complaint to the state attorneys generals office is filed and a complaint to the consumer protection agency is filed and suing him in small claims court.Initial Complaint

Quality Auto Sales repossessed my vehicle today due to a late payment. My issue is with the amount they claim I owe them. They say I cannot have the car back unless I pay the balance. They say I am 1 1/2 months behind when I am only 2 weeks behind. I owed them $150.00 NOT $450.00. I have receipts for payments in November and December. They have tried to steal from me last August by taking payments from my bank via my debit card which they had on file. I always went directly to their office with my cash payments bi- weekly from May- August until they decided auto pay would be better. My bank account was overdrawn the first time; I went to my bank and got a print out where it showed Quality Auto transaction pending. The second time it happened, I had made a cash payment in the office on a Thursday and 2 days later on Saturday they took another payment. Then 8 days later the owner called me and said I was missing a payment. I went to the bank yet again and I took that printout to him and asked him how he could take a payment on Saturday when I just made a cash payment 2 days prior? That particular day was a Monday and it hadn't cleared the bank yet so I did not have a receipt from them. He said he was going to take my car but didn't want to because I was a good customer. I knew I was correct but agreed to make my up coming payment on Thursday in the amount of $300. Well it wasn't sitting with me right and I went back to my bank to get a different debit card and another printout which showed their 2 withdrawal and went in to pay on Thursday and proved that payment and also told them they're NOT getting my new debit card number. The owner didn't like that. As far as I know, customers are not REQUIRED to agree to auto pay. I believe they try to intentionally rob people and do just that. There was no reason other than their greed for me to lose my transportation. I'm out $3,300. I would never give them another ***** nor should anyone else.Business Response

A bi-weekly payment was missed which you agreed with us on (which we let slide), you then missed anoter bi-weekly payment which put you 2 payments behind....We tried to contact you numerous times with no response, so that is why the vehicle was repossessed....We do also like to have some form on payment in our system seeing that we are the Lien holders on our vehicles, this gives us some kind of reassurance just incase something happens with the vehicle (ie: lack of insurance, damages, customer theft of vehicle)Initial Complaint

I took time in writing this because I was honestly hoping the owners would resolve this egregious error in selling me an *************** ILLEGAL CAR. But they have not and even got threatening, will not return calls about getting the ************* also.I will send screenshots of the place I took it to that I trust completely as I am his mailman and he has always been truthful and honest in working on all of my vehicles. The first photo will show that the very first thing listed is for license plate mount, it's GONE AN ILLEGAL! we were told they couldn't even quote us a price because it has to be brought to ANOTHER shop because they don't do bodywork but NOT to drive it at night because we would get pulled over and ticketed. It shows on the receipt. The next three pages are all things that need to be fixed but if you read them you'll see there isn't just normal wear and tear of a used vehicle which everyone expects!!! BUT, there are SERIOUS issues regarding cracked frame, cracked tire spoke, it's been in at least 2 serious accidents which we were given a super clean 1 owner carfax and It was actually a leased vehicle so we have no idea how many people actually "leased" it. There are other major problems which has made this car not only VERY UNSAFE to drive at anything over ***** mph but also illegal. W paid ******* cash and asked for a SAFE car!! When we found out it was both ILLEGAL and UNSAFE we went back to the dealer to at least trade for a comparable vehicle (at no extra cost to them, we just wanted safe) and *********************** immediately started shoving us out the door in front of other customers, my wife wrote a review and he then tried to slander her. Thank you, ***********************Initial Complaint

Dear Quality Auto Sales I am writing today regarding a vehicle I financed through you, which was recently repossessed on 08/05/2022. This is an official notice that the vehicle was wrongfully repossessed. Specifically, it was wrongfully repossessed due to the following: I made on time payment and have had car insurance for days before repossession (reinstated August 1st), I was not notified after of the reclaims process just outside with no work transportation or work clothes, vehicle was behind a padlocked gate, A1 Recovery is charging me $75 for my belongings Not only is this an inherent violation of the contract, but it is a violation of state law. Under Florida Uniform Commercial Code (679.609), a repossession is legal only if it does not result in a breach of peace and follows all state and pre-established contract guidelines. (537.012) Prior to engaging a repossession agent, the lender shall afford the debtor an opportunity to make the titled personal property available to the lender at a place, date, and time reasonably convenient to the lender and the borrower. Prior to taking possession of titled personal property, the lender shall afford the borrower a reasonable opportunity to remove from the titled personal property any personal belongings without charge or additional cost to the borrower. Please be advised that you are obliged to return the vehicle to me, or I will file suit against you in Small Claims Court and file a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for wrongful repossession. 1. Request Please return the vehicle and all personal property within to me or you may reimburse me in the amount of $3500 with my belongings and keep the vehicle within 5 days upon receiving this requestBusiness Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/10) */ You lapesed insurance 7-12-2022 then did mot provide proper insurace. you were then driving the car with out insurance untill 8-1-22.wich puts us at risk. We informed you we needed insurance asap and never recived proper insurance. on 8-1-22 we sent the reposession order ouT,, We use out side vendor for reposession and we are not to be held liable for therer policys.. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept this response from Quality Auto Sales because I was NEVER informed insurance was needed asap, I even made early payment on the 22nd of July and wasn't notified then. My policy was reinstated August 1st conveniently the day you claim the order was sent out but my car was taken August 5th. You are to be held liable if the repossession vendor is charging me $75 for my belongings back when I was never given a chance to remove my belongings before repossession in direct opposition of Florida Code (679.609) & (537.012) along with breach of peace entering behind my padlocked gated community, & no notification after of the reclaims process. Your company does not act in good faith; you habitually have bad business practice as you can see on here. That's more than 'disgruntled customers' Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/08/19) */ I would like to add but this is the second time your car has been repossessed through Quality Auto Sales. The first time you were late on your payment. We were nice enough to process repossession and then resell the vehicle back to you. Not 30 days later did your insurance lapse. Regardless of what you claim we had notified you and requested proper Insurance before repossession. This is pretty simple find somebody else to loan you money and come pay the car off.Initial Complaint

me and my son purchased a vehicle by putting 4000 down and in house financing the remainder 2000. 19 ok repeat 19 days after purchase the car was repoed and we were told the payment was over two weeks late. We were never given a payment schedule and or a address to send a payment or anything regarding when first payment was due or where to send it. We contacted them and tried to hand them the remainder 2000 owed on the vehicle and they wouldnt accept the wanted two times that amount and some. So now we have lost the vehicle and have lost the 4000 we put down on the vehicle one had. For 19 days. Now lost my job not working and paying a lot of money on Uber rides and are just sunk and dont know how to get out instead were just sinking deeper into despair and debt and depression.Business Response
