    Our lawn makes up a small portion of our 7500 sq ft property. The lawn does have several high spots and low spots. When we engaged Leafy initially, we pointed this out and requested that they only use a push mower as the larger wheelbase of the larger machines results in the blade making contact with the ground mowing the grass down to the soil. Initially Leafy followed these instructions. Eventually however Leafy would use the larger machine. This was primarily discovered upon review of our security cameras later in the day following the service. Each time we called Leafy to remind them to use the push mower vs. the larger machine. They said they would put a note in the instructions for the lawn techs. The larger mower was used again - and damage occurred. We called Leafy and they apologized and again said they would put a note in the instructions for the lawn techs. For a few weeks, things were good - but then it happened again. Then again. As our level of frustration grew and scrutiny increased, we started to note more frequent concerns. Among those: A sprinkler head was broken during one service. A rock had been kicked-up and broke the kitchen window during another. Leaves were being blown off our back patio to behind the shed where they were left to pile up and decompose. We addressed each of these items ourselves and resigned ourselves that, regardless of our feedback, this was the level of service we should expect to receive from Leafy. We started to investigate alternate service providers. On July 12th we received a notice of an immediate 40%+ rate increase. On July 13th we called Leafy and sent an email asking to discuss our frustrations. It is August 5th and we have not heard back from anyone . . . and that brings us to today. Today we terminated our Leafy service and we start next week with a new provider. We will be paying more, but it was never about the cost. It's about value and quality of service.
