June 21st had ultrasound in ******** location. Results still not available over a week later. ************** called UI. I called UI. Promised results same day and still not received. Request OFFICE MANAGER call back asap and requesting 100% refund for services not received and possible insurance fraud. Interested in preventing others from similar negative experience on social media.Business Response

I used this **mpany in 2022 i needed a mri of my ankle and had a bad experience I had the money for the **pay amount the **mpany did not have change I left out pretty late I asked if anyone had cashapp or zelle to give my change and they didn't I was told to get change to pay the ** pay literally minutes after I left the receptionist called asking did I get change mind you no stores are in the area these people had cars I had to use lyft for transportation I went back and gave them the money and told them to figure out how to resolve it long story short they called someone named ****** that said I **uld pay by phone they **pied my debit card front and back the worst experience, I had to have another mri of My left ankle I made sure to have a debit or credit card the experience was just as bad I needed both Mri to **mpare the injuries I asked for the last mri from 2022 and rhe recent mri for 2023 I was due to have major ankle surgery several calls and was told they did not have the older mri I found that odd because I thought medical facilities keep stuff like this for there re**rd I emailed the person that took my payment by phone she said she would **ntact the re**rds department or archive or something and would **ntact me very rude she ne er ever reached back out I have called and left messages before the email and after the email she outright ignores my emails I wouldn't send a pigeon to this unprofessional place they are money hungry my insurance paid almost $2,000 and i still had a ** pay but if I paid out of pocket it would have been less I got multiple quotes because the doctor was denied approval for the Mri initially all I want is both mri reports I would have never submitted this **mplaint but I will not go back a third time .Business Response

On March 14th 2023 I was scheduled for a breast MRI at the Unique Imaging facility located at *******************************************************************. On that day, I was informed that my results would be ready in about ***** hours. As of today, May 1st, I have not received my results. I called them on April 27th and was told that someone was going to return my phone call but nobody contacted me. I called again today, May 1st, and after receiving the same answer that my results were not ready yet and that someone was going to call me, I demanded to speak to a supervisor. A lady who identified herself as ******************* (manager) told me that "no radiologist like to read this type of results as they are very time consuming and that is why they take so long" I asked why was I told ***** hours then, and her answer was I dont know How can that even be possible???? She promised me she would get back to me with the results today before the end of the day, but the business day has finished and nobody contacted me. I still have not received my result. This result is extremely important as they will tell my doctor whether I need further testing or not. Time is precious in this type of situations. If there is something wrong with me I must seek medical treatment immediately. As being a mother of four kids, this is a serious matter to me or to any other patient who is going thru the same situation. This business should not be open as they continuously put the life of their patients at risk since by not providing such important results in a timely manner precious time is wasted. This place has numerous negative reviews and something must be done about it.Business Response

Due to HIPPA we are not able to fully comment on this complaint. The patient did not speak to ******************* but to the medical records department who did not make the comment stated in the complaint but rather explained that the case presented required more time and those reasons were explained to the patient. It should be noted, that Unique is a reputable diagnostic imaging company with over 25 years experience serving the South ******* community. ******************* did contact the patient after a social media review and apologized for any inconvenience caused, explained the reason for the delay and gave the patient her direct phone number should she require further assistance.Initial Complaint

Original appointment at Unique Imaging ***********************, February 25th 2023 Upon arrival was told that "system was down" and no appointments honored. Was told I would be rescheduled by "corporate". Received a call to reschedule for March 6th, same location. When asked I was told "system was working". Had *** on scheduled date and when asked for CD with images was told the system was down and no CD could be provided. Not to worry though, since radiologist report would be provided to my doctor in 2-3 days. No such report was provided. I cannot get any information or call back from this company. I paid for my copay of this procedure $160 and I am still having medical issues needing to be addressed with the information from the **** All locations are directed to one phone number and the wait time is on average 30 minutes only for the call to end up on a voicemail that no one returns. This one number is used for appointments, records or any other matters and every extension ends in that voice mail. I need my payment returned so that I can get the *** I desperately need from another provider. Also they need to return any funds to my insurance company so that those benefits can be applied to another *** imaging facility.Business Response
