I am a customer who uses the system for money transfers, email, and video visits. There have been issues with the video system in the past but, they were resolved because there was a person, I could speak to in customer service. My last two video visits had technical difficulties not resulting from any fault of mine. After the first occurrence, I attempted to contact customer service, but the automated system robot was not able to address my issue. I proceeded to email the JPay support with no response from them. I then scheduled and paid for another video session in which we experienced another technical problem, at no fault of my own. Trying to contact customer service proved to be unsuccessful with a robot that just says the same thing repeatedly, with no one to speak to regarding my concerns.So, I will not schedule and pay for anther visit, until I have a resolution for the services, that I have previously paid for that were not delivered. I would appreciate a response from you and help with my situation.I have had many successful video visits in the past that I why I can attest that the problems were not due to my computer system.Initial Complaint

I sent money to my nephew who was in jail in ************** ********** through Jpay. He never received the money. Total cost was $61.95 with fees. I have requested a refund from J-pay since they did not give to him. They say no refunds? The transaction cleared my bank on 4/30/2024. I am only asking for my money back since they did not provide the services as promised. Thank you *************************Initial Complaint

I paid for a tablet for my daughter who is incarcerated. Jpay took $105.99 on February 22nd. They said it could *********** weeks and it's been 10 weeks. There is no way to get a hold of them. I've emailed and called. No one answers calls, and I've received a generic impersonal email stating because of "social distancing guidelines" they're unable to respond in a timely manner. They requested the incarcerated individual put in a "complaint", but it was not her who paid for the item. I think this is very poor business practices.Initial Complaint

My jp5 player has broken and I am seeking to order another product. However they will not allow me to order another item from the kiosk. I have invested hundreds of dollars on music and they will not allow me to order another jp5 player on the kiosk. I have written trouble tickets on the kiosk and they keep giving me the run around.Initial Complaint

Their services dont work properly. It tells me on occasions that my log in information is invalid. You cant speak to a person on the phone when it directs you to call about the issues. Their phone service is a direct for transactions for inmates accounts. The app and site lag, boot out of system and doesnt recognize legit accounts. Its an ongoing issue. They also take their time to deliver emails and photos. This business makes a lot of money off of the inmates and their families to provide such a horrible service.
