Ordered items 3 weeks ago. Items were never shipped. Was told they could not ship partial order. Took 20 min to get someone on the phone to give no resolution . Got no customer service help from email or messages. Completely disorganized and disappointed with lack of resolution and communication from the brand.Review from John R

I have never had a problem with Tervis returning tumblers that had condensation and film between the cups. I went to the Ellenton Florida outlet to return 10 defective cups for an even exchange. The outlet looked at 10 defective cups and said, " There was nothing wrong." I asked, " If a best friend came over to your home for dinner would you use these cups?" No answer! The store manager gave me the customer service phone number and told me to leave the store or mall security will come and throw me out. I asked again and still no comment and proceeded to mention mall security is coming to throw me out. I called the Tervis customer service number a couple days later and explained the situation with no customer service again. They explained the lifetime guarantee changed on 10/1/2023 and its no longer covering the film between the cups. The company service manager told me the store employees are trained to know what is covered so there is no resolution with this and hung up. I have been in business for 45 years and never have I been treated so poorly. It must be nice to sell an inferior product and change the guarantee to solve a manufacturing and workmanship problem that they are aware with no intentions of fixing or backing. Do not do business with this company unless you want to throw your hard earned money away. Mr. ***** and his wife visited our ******** store to return 10 tumblers under our Guarantee. Our store team is trained to inspect tumblers to determine they are covered and Mr. ***** was being assisted by the store manager. Upon inspection, the tumblers Mr. ***** brought in were stained, which is not covered under our Guarantee (we covered interior staining as a courtesy until Oct. 1, 2023 and communication was sent out prior informing customers of the update). The manager informed him the tumblers were stained and this was something we no longer cover. Mr. ***** became upset and started yelling. The manager carefully inspected each tumbler and noted aside from the staining, they looked in new condition, found no cracks or evidence of seal failure. Mr. ***** picked up one of the tumblers, shoved it in the managers face and continued to yell. The store asked Mr. ***** to leave or we would be calling security and 911. Mr. ******* wife took him by the arm and they left the store. While Security was at the store, Mr. ***** was observed throwing the tumblers away, but went back to get them a few moments later.
Mr. ***** called ************* a few days later and spoke with the ************* Manager. He stated he returns tumblers for the same reason every year and asked how are we going to make this right as he threw away the tumblers after leaving the store. Reviewing Mr. ******* history, the reason for his previous returns was due to film/staining and we advised the store was correct in their determination that the tumblers were not covered. The ************* Manager informed Mr. ***** that we stand by the store's decision and based on his behavior at the store, the store was within their right to ask him to leave. Mr. ******* call with the ************* Manager lasted 12 minutes and the call ended mutually.

I ordered 4 coffee tumblers on Dec. 14,2023 and was supposed to get free shipping and deliver by Christmas. I actually paid $10 for faster shipping so that I would get my items by Dec. 19/Dec. 20. By the 22nd, I called their customer service and they said they forgot to ship it, but that they would put expedited shipping so that I would get it by that night or the next day (the 23rd). Well, I received my package on Dec. 26th. After I called them about this issue on Dec. 26, they offered to reimburse my $10 shipping to rectify it. How do you rectify something that can't be rectified, which is the actually on-time delivery? Of course, they should at least reimburse me for my $10 for shipping that never happened timely as a start and then offer some discount for my purchase. Besides just being incompetent, they just don't care AT ALL. By the way, I still haven't received my $10 reimbursement and it's been 11 days and counting. They deserve a zero star rating.Review from C. B

They don’t deserve 1 star!! This company is trash just like their products. I’m not sure what happened but 20+ years ago they were great. Now the company wants you to do all the foot work and pay to ship their faulty products back for a replacement. After doing so, I still cannot get anyone from the company to even acknowledge they have received my returns (I do have the USPS confirmation and tracking number). It’s just about 3 months since I sent my tumblers back. What a joke! No wonder why they have poor reviews with products and employees. Don’t waste your money, time or patience with these *******.

It has been over 90 days since I returned a 16 oz Tumbler for warranty. I have followed up a couple of times and got the same non answer it can take up to 90 days. I think they are betting that you will not follow up on a warranty claim for a 16oz TumblerReview from Tamela W

Absolutely terrible customer service! They dont respond to their email, and their business hours are so inconvenient. Do not rely on the preview when you order a personalized Tervis. My preview clearly showed the 2 dogs and a cat, even the white bodies. I would expect it to maybe not show the white as solid and have some see through areas, but not to just show a head with no body on one of the dogs (the white part on the other dog showed up great). I spoke to a customer service representative. She was not very friendly and blamed it on my upload. If she were to have been apologetic, saying she was sorry, but that white is really hard to do, I would have understood, but she just kept saying that it was my fault and my upload and that there was probably some white where the body should be on the cup, but she thought I just can’t see it with the clear shiny cup. I can assure you that is not the case. She did say that if I’m not happy with the cup, she can do a one time favor and let me return it. I think that if it can’t be redone with a better outcome, I should have at least been offered a discount due to the fact that the cup didn’t show up the same way as the preview. I have always been a big Tervis fan, having many cups myself and also buying them as gifts. The representative I spoke with really changed my opinion of Tervis, so I am going to have to think hard before purchasing another one. Also, I’ve sent two emails to customer service with no response. I’ve always heard that Tervis has great customer service, but in my experience this is not true.
