This company is operating fraud on consumers and stealing their money. We had a contract with Climate Control. They were bought by ********* thereafter. We cancelled our contract via notice to both Climate Control and Rightaway in July 2024 over 60 days before its expiration and in accordance with the contract terms, both in writing and over the phone. The company confirmed our cancellation and that we would not be charged. Nonetheless, on October 15, 2024, they charged our credit card $815.52 without authorization. They acknowledged their error and said they would issue a full credit. We have come to realize that that is all part of the fraud. I just saw that another customer posted about the same exact thing. Plus, you can see on line that they appear to be posting fraudulent or bought reviews to bolster their rating and to try and drown out all of the complaint postings. I spoke with the credit card company, and they said that this is a fraud scheme where they lie about the credit so people either won't dispute with the credit card company or stop their dispute because the company, in our case Rightaway, tells them that they are issuing a credit. But then they don't, and customer is left with the fraudulent charge because they waited too long to raise dispute because they were lulled into believing a credit is coming. This is exactly what they are trying with us. The owner reached out when we raised the fraud and apologized, telling us he'd take care of the full refund. That's part of the lull and delay because he did nothing. They then seem to further the scheme via another company, **************** Payment Services to tell you that your refund was processed when it was not, again to steal your money, not refund it, and leave the consumer holding the bag. My wife and I are lawyers and are submitting this because we suspect that many other Floridians are being defrauded, too.Initial Complaint

I paid for a new AC Unit two years ago from this company. They are the only company that has come out to service it once a year and I pay for a yearly memebership plan to cover that. On 10/28/2024 this company came out to look at an issue of my AC unit leaking water. They came out and they spent time looking at it vaccuuming out water and askes me who installed the unit and i said i bought the ** and had it installed by your company. He procides to tell me that they never installed the Ac correctly it was installed tilted the wrong way so the water isnt going towards the drain and water now leaks out onto my floor. i cant even run my ac with out water just leaking everywhere. I was told it would be $1500 for them to come out and re install the ac unit correctly after they never did it right in the first place. I've called twice and left messages for call backs and nothing once on 10/29/24 and then again on either 11/4/24 or 11/5/24 and was told some one would reach out within 24 hours and still nothing. i live in ************* where i need Ac year round and i havent been able to use it for going on 3 weeks. this should be done at zero cost because this company installed it wrong in the first place and i paid a lot of money for a new ac unit and for it to be installed correctly. and i want my 65 dollars i paid for a diagnostic fee because this was an issue created by a company who never did the job correctly to begin with.Business Response

We have resolved this issue. We went back to customer house on 11/19 and reinstalled his air handler and made sure that it was draining properly. I sent 2 of my veteran installers and reinstalled the air handler as per factory specs and everything is working correctly now. I had my office contact Mr. ******* to make sure he was happy with the repairs and wasn't able to talk to him. We left him a message to please call us if he had any further issues.Initial Complaint

Climate Control came to fix my Kitchen Aid Double Oven. They left without repairing the oven because they said the part I need is not available any longer. They called it a microswitch bracket. I asked for the part number since I cannot try to get the part without this. Microswitch bracket is not a full description according to Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid.They refuse to provide the part number and have not called me back though I have called four times. In other words their visit was $99 down the drain.I do not mind paying for a repair that was not done if they would identify the part number but they have not.Business Response

4/2021. Purchased new Installation Day. Install 4ton Amana split ** System.40x40 slab, 24x24 drain pan, ss2,ss3, tie downs. 10kw heat, two filters, existing thermostat, 18" AH stand. Unit purchased in 4/2021, the air handler completely burned out in 8/2023 causing a massive electricity (power surge) for the month of August 2023. This resulted in an electric bill of *******. FPL came out to my home and completed an Audit of my electricity to determine the cause of power surge in excess of ****kw, FPL determined that the air-handler unit had a faulty system, heating /cooling element which caused the power surge. He established that once Abraham came out to fix the unit after it burned out the electricity was operating at its normal kw. The dates all coincide with when the ** unit failed. I have attempted to contact Abraham ** & Heating to get this matter resolved and NO ONE has reached back out to me. I called and left message for the Assistant manager *************************** as well as with the business office immediately after FPL's audit on 10/26/23 and I also left messages with the after hours department. I am still awaiting a response. I should not be responsible for that outstanding bill due to a faulty ** unit that is just barely 2 years old.Business Response

Complaint is against Abraham A/C & Plumbing at *************************************************************. Late August, they came to fix a problem with our Refrigerator. The fix required a part which needed to be ordered for the repair which was scheduled for the following Monday. We were required to pay the total of $259. No calls on Monday, or for the next week. When I contacted them, they said the repairman had quit, and they were getting a ************** to come. No one showed up. Next call I made they said the visit was scheduled , but again no one showed up, and no one contacted me. When I finally got them on the phone, they said the truck broke down. This was a total of around a month. I asked fot a refund, and was told by their supervisor it was to be processed . Last week, I was told they were waiting for the General Manager to approve and they would let me know on Friday. It is the following Thursday no calls, and they are not returning calls again. All I want is the refund for $249. Which I had to pay someone else.Business Response
