I contacted my insurance company to find a dentist that is in my plan. My plan gives me two teeth cleanings a year for free. They gave me Ocala Dental Harmony. I called Ocala Dental Harmony to confirm that they were in fact a participating dentist and they said they were. On 9/7/23 I went to Ocala Dental Harmony to get my teeth cleaned.I went in the back to have my teeth cleaned and they said they wanted to take x-rays. I said I did not want them, all I wanted was my teeth cleaned. They said they wanted the x-rays so that they could look for problems while they were cleaning my teeth. I said again I did not want them, then they told me they would not charge me for them. After the x-rays they said the Doctor had to see me before they could clean my teeth. I waited for the Doctor and he came in and said there were a lot of problems in my mouth that needed fixed and the cost was something like $27,000. He ask if I could afford to pay that and if not offered financing for me. I told the Doctor I was not interested in having any work done on my teeth. All I wanted was my teeth cleaned. That is when the Doctor said he would not clean my teeth unless I started the repair process that my insurance didnt cover. I said I just wanted my teeth cleaned and the Doctor said he would not clean them. When I checked out I was told there was no charge.6 months later I get a bill from Ocala Dental Harmony for an oral evaluation and Intraoral. I ask for my teeth to be cleaned and nothing else. These evaluations are of no benefit to me, I dont even know what they are or have a copy of them. The only one that benefitted from these is Ocala Dental Harmony. I received no benefit and should not be charged for unrequested services. My husband has written to Ocala Dental Harmony and gave them 30 days to reverse the charges. They responded with another invoice.I would like these charged removed from my account.

I called Ocala Dental Harmony and confirmed they are a participating dentist. On 9/7/23 I went to Ocala Dental Harmony to get my teeth cleaned. I was given a device like an ipad and told I had to sign several pages before they would clean my teeth. Per their instructions I signed the device and was unable to read any of it I went in the back to have my teeth cleaned and they said they wanted to take x-rays. He ask if I could afford to pay that and if not offered financing for me. I told the Doctor I was not interested in having any work done on my teeth. All I wanted was my teeth cleaned. That is when the Doctor said he would not clean my teeth unless I started the repair process with a first visit of $350 out of pocket charge that my insurance didnt cover. I went in 6 months ago to have my remaining teeth extracted and to get dentures. Ocala ****** ******* told me it would be $5000. Initially they tried to get me to pay in cash but I didn’t have that kind of money on me of course. I did a $2000 down payment followed by a $3000 amount on the day of surgery. They gave me my statement and receipts and sent me home with a 6 month follow up appointment for the final adjustment. The dentures never fit properly. I complained multiple times that I couldn’t eat or even talk with them in. They said once my mouth was healed and settled they would readjust the dentures to fit (at the 6 month follow up). Today I went for my appointment and they tried to charge me $700 before doing the adjustment. I was livid. No one in 6 months said anything about a $700 fee. It’s not in my paperwork either. So I told them I have it but I’m not paying it. Now I have dentures that I can’t use and they have $5000 for a job I feel they didn’t complete.

The  Patient's original treatment plan did not include a reline. These are sometimes needed and are an addition charge . However as a curteosy to the patient we will be willing to do the reline at no charge. I will reach out to the patient

    to promptly schedule the appointment.

    Kind Regards,

    Cherish

I went to Ocala dental harmony ********************** on **** and paid them $99.99 and on **** I paid them $2,000.00 to pull my lower teeth and. Make a plate for a total of $11,000.00. They pulled my lower teeth and when they put a plate in it got stuck and I spent two hours in the chair with them cutting it out. The plate they put in does not work and I went back and they wanted to sell me some more. I have waited seven months and I still do not have any lower teeth and they have my $11,000.00. I am now going to have to find another dentist to correct this mess.

We have been working with the patient to complete his implant process and fixing any issues that *** occur. At last visit patient was offered a prescription mouth wash and got upset when we informed him of the cost and left. Everything the patient has paid is to cover all steps of the implant process only and will take time to complete, The patient had a follow up appointment to discuss the issues more in depth and when calling to confirm that appointment patient had stated he did not want to be seen again. The doctor was informed of this and we called back to ask again for him to have a one on one appointment with him to address all concerns if some were missed. Patient is currently on the schedule to have that meeting.
