I asked why did he remove the starter and what does the engine being messed up have to do with the starter. Progressive started lying and Patricks Auto started lying. Next, Progressive sent me 3 different docusigns on an outside company testing the gas to see if anything in it but ******* Auto takes a sample instead. I said what happened to the outside company. ******* ******* food truck was towed in on 10/4/24 and claimed the truck was vandalized, this is the reason ********************* was involved. ********************* contacted PatRicks and approved diagnosis of customers complaint (Inv.#******:

1.CUSTOMER STATES THAT VEHICLE HAD A NEW FLY WHEEL INSTALLED AND WHEN CRANKING THERE WAS A ISSUE WITH THE FLYWHEEL. AFTER NEW FLY WHEEL WAS INSTALLED THEY FOUND THAT THEY DID NOT INSTALL THE ****** CUSTOMER WENT AND GOT NEW BOLT AND THEY WERE NOT LONG ENOUGH.

2.CUSTOMER STATES THAT VEHICLE RAN REALLY SMOOTH AND THINKS THAT SOMEONE PUT SOMETHING IN THE FUEL TANK AND VEHICLE STARTED ONCE AND WAS PUFFING BLACK AND WHITE SMOKE AND NOW WILL NOT START.

PatRicks performed a visual inspection and found starter was not installed and the bolt holes had been stripped-out, ********************* requested a fuel sample be taken, fuel did have contamination. After looking over the new parts the customer had on the front seat, it was found that all the parts did not fit the engine in ******* ******* truck, as it had been changed to a 7.4 Liter at some point in its life. After reviewing all the info ********************* approved the repair of the stripped-out starter bolt holes ONLY (Inv.#*****). ********************* advised ******* ***** she would need to pay for the correct parts and installation. ******* ***** was given an estimate for the correct parts and installation; she also requested to drain and fill the fuel tank with fresh fuel. Authorization was given for parts, installation and fuel drain and fill ($1549.58).

PatRicks installed the correct starter, bolts, flywheel and rear starter brace. PatRicks also drained the fuel tank and installed 10 gallons of fresh gasoline. Vehicle started as it should and ran well. Customer was given an opportunity to supply a valid tag, registration and up to date insurance so the vehicle could be road tested. Customer was made aware we were unable to road test the vehicle due to lack of tag and registration and advised that the vehicle be towed. Customer arrived to pick up the vehicle and again was made aware the vehicle should be towed. Customer was given all the incorrect parts so she could possibly get a refund. Vehicle had to be jump started as the battery was dead and customer drove away. At no time has the customer contacted ******************** with any concern or complaint that the repairs made here (starter, bolts & flywheel) had any issues.
