“..The Multifamily Mindset, an education company that has trained 1,000’s of new and seasoned investors to acquire multi-family properties, maintain a positive growth mindset, and live a rich, full life.”

To date the business responded but did not provide substantiation.

On April 4, 5, and 6, of 2024 I attended a three day bootcamp, which cost me $1,497 to attend. I was told that I would receive extensive training on how to purchase multi family properties without using my own money. From the first day to the last day the teaching coach *********************** and his staff did not teach anything of value. We were given a thick binder loaded with assignment and terminologies that we were suppose to go over and learn during the class, but that didn't happen we didn't even complete half of the lessons in the book. Most of the time we were in class all that ***** and his team his team talked about was their personal experiences in the business, how many deals they have done, their families, why they decided to join MMF and how many vacations they have been on. It felt like they were simply bragging about their lives and the properties that they own. They promised to teach us how to do the business worked and the steps we need to be successful in it, But every lessons of value was rushed through. Nothing was taught with any detail. when any of the students asked questions the responses were opened answered and left unclear. the first day they passed around a form for each of us to fill out asking about our credit and income. based on your answers we were put in a group. each group was sent to a team member which they called strategist and that strategist would pull you to the side individually to convince us to spend more money. Each day we attended the class we would meet with this strategist during the time were suppose to be learning everything we paid for. So, not only did I not get the knowledge that I paid $1,497 for, but now I'm being asked to pay another $40,000 to continue the course. I truly felt ripped off. I feel everything was false advertised. I did not get what I was promised and paid for. I wasted my time and money, I did not receive any information of value during the three days I attended.

At the initial seminar, you are assigned an "strategist" who puts you in a high-pressure sales situation. The strategist asks you to fill out a sheet listing all of your available credit and assets, which you are subsequently encouraged to find any way possible to "invest" in their education and "coaching." This leads students to cash out assets like retirement accounts and maxing out credit cards. The strategist lied to us about not receiving commission from the $40k fee. They also never disclose that you only have one year to complete the education and access their ******** networking group after paying. There are group coaching calls with hundreds of students, making it impossible to get any 1-on-1 attention as they promise. These calls are supposed to be educational but quickly become a complete waste of time because they are nothing but new students introducing themselves and trying to be noticed. During group coaching calls the leader complained about students never demonstrate what's in it for them for students to have access to their expertise, and about students acting entitled because they spent $40k on the program. They recklessly claim you can learn underwriting through outdated videos and provide false information about industry practices (like recouping the cost of their program in deals). You get 15 minute calls with "Coaches" that have never done their own deals and provide little to no follow-up or guidance on specific situations when underwriting properties and making offers. You must use MFM's flawed underwriting spreadsheet, which they're aware of but haven't fixed. They make poor vendor recommendations for tax and website/CRM's designed to put money in their pockets, leading to further financial exploitation. In summary, this company is predatory and is taking advantage of people trying to invest in themselves for a better future. This program is not worth anywhere near what they are charging students. Potential students should be warned.
