    I ordered a driveway gate and walking gate and all of the gate opener and camera kits for a driveway; over $7000. I took delivery, but it took me a year to build my gate pillars and driveway paving. I am currently installing the gate and components. I discovered that I am missing the keypad post in all of the boxes and wrapped components. I called Cameron to report the missing part and would like to get that delivered. I offered to pay delivery fee. Cameron said he would ask and get back with me within the hour. A day later I called Cameron again. He said that he discussed with his manager and because it was almost a year ago, they would not honor the agreement. He said that it was my fault that I did not thoroughly check the order and report it a year ago. He said that I can buy the part again and pay delivery charge. I argued with him, but the best he could do was to reduce the price to 50% plus delivery. This is not good business. I go out of my way to report and review great businesses, and I do even more to report bad businesses. This company and Gate Crafters is not a good business. A good reputable company seeks to satisfy its customers and admit when they are wrong. Beware of them cheating you to make a buck. They must be doing very poorly to screw good customers over like that.

    Bought a DIY gate assembly from gatecrafters. When I received the shipment the welds were shoddy. Nothing was cleaned from around the welds. Even the sharpie marks were still visible from where the bracing was laid out. Where metal pieces were cut, burrs and sharp edges were left behind. Complete hack job. I bought the DIY assembly because I can fix most things around the house. But, I thought that by paying a premium price then I would receive a premium product and not have to finish a “finished” product. I spoke with the shop supervisor Joe Silva. He seemed empathetic. Claiming that this never happens and adding that he wanted to try and make it right. The only thing that was offered is for me to ship it back so his team of hacks could clean the shoddy welds ( not fix them) and send it back. He wouldn’t replace it or would he refund my order. I would have settled for a partial refund for my time to fix the welds and clean up the shoddy work. In hindsight, reading unedited reviews from this sight vs the edited reviews on their website would have given me a more accurate view of this company and their products. Do not buy from them. You will regret it.

    Buyer Beware!!! I ordered a Nice/Apollo 1050 Gate Opener Smart Control Board for an elderly client with disabilities. I was assured that the board would be received in 3-5 days. Order was made on 5/11/2023. Board never arrived and I contacted your company 5/17/23 and was told it would be 2 weeks maximum by your rep Denise. I asked to speak to manager she said manager was out lunch. I left 3 messages and finally the next day at 10:51 am your manager Judy Luciano returned my call, no apology just excuses. Judy guaranteed that my order would arrive Friday, May 26th and if it did not she would call me personally to let me know status. Judy never called and in fact I have left messages on her direct line on the 28th, 31st and and now June 2nd. This elderly lady with a disability that I am installing this for lives on hill in rural area that has both mountain lions and bears which is why she has an automatic gate system. Your reps and company are putting her health in danger. Not a good look for a company. If I could give zero stars I would, this company definitely deals in shady, unscrupulous business acts. Something needs to be done.

    Wish I had read these reviews beforehand. Same story as everyone else. Ordered a double swing gate system months ago and never heard back or received the product. I’ve informed the authorities as well as my lawyer. Hopefully a little legal action will bankrupt this scam operation. Should have known better than to order from a company based out of Florida.

    I have waited 2 years to write this review. The last year, I have been waiting for a resolution to a problem I experienced which has gone to pot. I ordered a complete set-up for a double-swing gate on my 20’ wide driveway, buried loop and all. Anthony was very helpful in getting what I thought I needed. It arrived timely and complete, but we waited to install due to winter weather and time constraints on our schedule. When we finally went to install 6 months later, we realized that we had 2 parts that wouldn’t work for our driveway. I was sold a single loop that wasn’t wide enough to properly fit my drive space. In working with Liftmaster and BD Loops directly, we realized that we needed to install a different loop and that the sensor bar I was sold was also insufficient. When I contacted Gatecrafters, and finally got in touch with the right person, who was VERY slow to respond, I was informed that they would not accept my 2 unopened items for return because it was out of the 30-day return period. So, after spending over $2,000, they wouldn’t exchange these parts for the parts I needed, which would have been about another $700 spent with them. In my opinion, this is not good customer service. Even Liftmaster expressed surprise at their unwillingness to stand behind product. Shameful. Take heed and don’t wait to install! Hope you don’t have any problems with your ordering. Maybe you will be fine. But I will never spend another cent with this company.

    11/29/2021 I ordered and paid for a 14 foot gate from *************
    I did not start to follow-up until Feb.
    After I ordered the gate; I needed a gate opener and other accessories for the gate which M M sent to me almost immediately so (at that time) I didn't think I would have any problems. That was about 12/21/2021. After that; things went downhill. I would call and get no answer or call a get some who promised it was out of the paint shop and ready to ship. One person I talked to tried to change the purchase date and was curt and rude. June 15th I got another promise; but now it is 7/18/2022 and still no gate. All I want (at this time) is the gate I paid for OR my money back!!

    Alex, our gate department manager, reached out to Mr. **** after the complaint was filed on July 18th, and there was no mention of Mr. **** filed the complaint at that time. Alex clarified with Mr. **** the extra charge of $200 was a temporary hold on his account until we, Web Direct Brands, received the gate boot back after his gate was delivered. The gate boot attaches to the gate to keep it stable in transit, and must be returned in order to avoid a fee of $200. After clarification, Mr. **** understood and said that was ok. As of now, Mr. ******* gate is going out after 5 pm today on July 22, 2022. The YRC pro number is XXX-XXXXXX-X and Mr. **** will be able to view updates and any other information on YRC.com.

    I wish I would have read these reviews prior to ordering. I don't have time to list out every detail of my saga with Gatecrafters, but here are the basics. -Ordered a gate and confirmed with sales it would ship in 6-8 weeks. -At the 6 week mark, I started to inquire about status. Weeks of no responses worried me. -8 weeks passed and no shipping. -You can call the listed number and bounce around a black-hole automated system for days without ever reaching someone. -Eventually, I spoke to someone who "took over" for my original sales guy, and he promised 3 weeks. I only got this call back after threatening a BBB Complaint, a fraud claim with my card issuer, and subsequent FTC involvement to the companies "office of the president". -Seven weeks later, I still didn't have a gate in transit. -Overall, the biggest problems are 1) dishonesty or sheer incompetence when giving you any kind of timeline, 2) zero communication on delays, 3) terrible access to a real person for updates/questions, and 4) utter failure to deliver anything of value. In total, I waited for 15 weeks and never received a gate; it didn't even ship and i wasn't inclined to believe their "two more weeks" story again. I don't know if this company is a scam or just so poorly managed that they fail to provide the most basic level of service, timeliness, and communication. Hopefully consumers will check out their track record prior to ordering and let natural selection of run its course - I'm truly amazed a business like this still exists.

    Terrible company. Do not order from them.. Have been waiting 9 1/2 months for Squeezo berry strainer. They are still taking orders with "shipping in 24 weeks".. Save your money and shop somewhere else. Very disappointed,

    Ordered a gate in December 2021 that had a 2-3 day lead time and it's now 5/12/22 and still no gate. They still have the gate on their website at the same 2-3 day lead time. They are telling me it's going to be another 10-12 weeks and the last person I was dealing with no long works there. I've got tons of emails and text with excuses why my gate won't ship and not one is the same. STAY AWAY!!!!! They are scamming people!

    Verbally ordered an item with JT who said that an R2511 would replace a circuit board for my gate opener MM571W----product # RP1004---this company was recommended by mighty mule----this item was received and was not even close to matching the RP1004----called mighty mule who said they sent wrong item----Web Direct Brands will not let me return it for either replacement or refund----said it was electronic---no returns-----out $276 dollars---Web Brands is the one who gave me wrong product and excuse me I can not return----Mighty Mule recommended them---Do not ask for JT---rude-----manager, Judy said she was sitting next to him-----said box product came in said no return----spoke to Judy and said the box does not said that at all----took money out of my account for product

    I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. For quality control we do record random phone calls, unfortunately this was not the case. Because of that we cant verify the information that you are providing. The email for the order confirmation sent to customers has the link to the user agreement where it states, that electronics are not returnable or refundable. I recommend you re-sell the board on eBay Craigslist or Facebook Market place to recover the money spent. I hope I can further assist you in the future.

    so you are saying that i bought this item over the phone with a conversation with JT who never said to me when i was buying this item that i could not return it based on me asking jt if this was the correct circuit board and he recommended the R5211---he said this is the correwct circuit board----then i purchased with my cc---received the item-----does not work------at no time did he say you can not return------he even states on the above BBB item that his company can not verify my phone call-----how convenient for JT----HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR MY PHONE CALL WITH HIM RECORDED AT MY PHONE====you also state that the order confirmation relates to NO RETURN-----too late by then-----you JT should have told me this on the phone----my attorney, *** ****** is taking the case and i am sure i will get back more than i spent----he loves companies who try and screw people----see you in court or a big settlement----also Mighty Mule said they will never recommend you again
