1 starUpon going to rent a vehicle I was told that I was flagged as a bad driver and not to rent to me. I was denied rental and my reservation was cancelled. Upon asking about the issue was I was told that the person that assisted me put the flag on my account on purpose was *******, one of the employees because he did not like me and it was done without a legitimate reason. My reservation was cancelled, and I was left stranded without a vehicle. When Priceline reached out to the company, they did not answer the phone as I sat I the lobby. The other employee, ****** can vouch that there was no reason for my reservation to be cancelled. It was personal. The employee was disgruntled and was obviously having a bad day. I was not confrontation and when asked why I was blocked ******* told me that he did not know. When he was the person that blocked me from renting. Just that he did not have the courage to admit that he was the person that blocked me and cancelled my reservation shows lack of leadership and responsibility. The inconvenience that this incident caused me was insurmountable. I was left stranded without a vehicle. The branch manager is cowardice and not fit to manageReview fromGabriela S

1 starTerrible place to rent, bordering on dangerous to drive these cars. I drove 35 miles before the car stopped working. Their customer service is ignoring my emails and they will not refund me, stating the dealership found no problem - when I know the car stopped working.Review fromHeba L

1 starI have been an easirent customer for over a year. I work hybrid and fly to Florida from ***** every month to work in office for a week. I came in yesterday like usual and associate Eivie called me to help me. I gave her my Florida license which I have yet to update to ***** and she immediately said are you aware of limited miles extra credit card hold I responded yes I have been there many times. She said you need to call your insurance I need to speak with them to make sure it's active then she then said ma'am I can't rent you a car your license is suspended I was shocked and asked why she gave me a paper and said to go to DMV. On the paper she gave me it said pending insurance and to contact them online if information is incorrect. I did that immediately and gave them my active insurance information. It immediately updated on Florida driver's license verification and showed it active. I went back to her and she said she canceled my reservation I said why?? She said because I told you we can't rent you a car you need to go to DMV I said it's active you can check. Then she called her manager who was off and told her what happened but did not tell her my license is showing active now and manager said I have to come back ***** hours I was so frustrated because I need a car to get to work. I asked for her name because I might update my online review based on my experience with her and she refused to write it and just walked away. I made another reservation for today Monday and when I stopped by the associate told me my name is on do not rent list! I said why? He was there and saw the whole interaction and I was as calm as I can be and she had the worst customer service attitude. Eivie retaliated against me as soon as I left yesterday, contacted her manager and added me on do not rent list all because I said I was going to put her name on the review based on the horrible experience she provided. They definitely lost a loyal customer.Review fromDavid W

1 starFt ***** Easirent. When we booked this,it stated that rental was located IN terminal. Not. We trudged past all other in terminal agencies, followed a path to an outside shed. Then a call box to page a pickup. 30 minutes later a van picks us up. I asked about the time it took. He said he was all by himself. We got to easirent agency and one rep to look after us all. Every customer was told to have proof of insurance or you would need to purchase theirs. Every customer was scrambling to get proof. No one knew this before hand! We had to purchase Easirent insurance. Finally got in our car after two hours from arrival. Ridiculous. False advertising for sure, Inconvenience absolutely. Stress and Aggravation.Review fromDylan P

1 starThis business seriously needs to be looked into for robbing customers. They have fake listings online saying unlimited mileage, but charge you $25 per day when you arrive. They charge for items you say "no" to, and when you ask for a refund, they say they will - but they do not. This company is legitimately a scam. It doesn't even matter that their cars are usually in awful condition. That's a risk you take when you choose budget car rentals. However, you should not be subject to the risk of being stolen from.I'm not just disgruntled about bad service. These people steal your money and SHOULD be shut down. Nothing will happen because nobody takes a company to court due to losing $150Review fromWayne M

1 starI agree that 1 star is too high for this scam artist company. Never rent from them; the services are as horrible as the ********* wife rented a car in ********* Nc after we flew from Orlando Fl to visit family for Christmas. the guy who picked us up at the airport was the only positive part of the experience. the young lady who rented us the car was completely sarcastic and rude. she did not have a nametag but was only identified by the 777 tattoo on the back of her hand. She asked if we lived locally. We answered no, that was why we needed a car. She then asked us to prove it by giving her our flight number in six days when we left. When my wife showed her the email from the airline, she said that was not good enough. We had to search the ***** website for the flight number. she then asked if we were driving out of ************** while we had the car. we said two of the days we would be in ********* visiting my mom for Christmas. we were informed that we would be charged $25 a day for leaving the state. not just the two days but for all six days. this made no sense. My wife purchased the insurance online when we rented the car. it was for $35,000 which she said was not enough. our insurance covered any car we drove for $50,000. She made us pull up the coverage and prove it. all the time we had to ask her to repeat questions because she talked low and was looking done the whole time.when she asked us to sign the agreement my wife told her she wanted to read it before she signed. we told her that three times. She said, "You need to pay attention and listen to me and sign, then you can read it." the young girl was angry, unprofessional, rude, and mad at the ******** not rent from this sham company that makes money in the fine print with charges the other companies do not have. our $100 savings cost me an extra $200.if you rent from this company be prepared to be mistreated, scammed, and overpaid. I also plan to leave a similar review on Expedia, TravelocityReview fromKeilani B

1 starDO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They do not even deserve a star. They are highly unprofessional, and give off use car sales vibes. They rent you unreliable and/or filthy cars. The windsheild was so dirty from the inside, when it started to rain as I left their lot, I could not see anything in front me which could have caused an accident due to their neglegence. Talk about LAWSUIT waiting to happen!! I found giant stains and ants coming from the vents in the first vehicle. There was a smell coming from the vents too. Also, the vehicle was sucking more gas then it should have and had a delay in acceleration. When you try to get ahold of the branch or someone above the branch manager, it takes you to their call center where they hang up on you. Upon dicussing all the concerns with the supervisor dropping off my the vehicle, his under lying tone was like "oh well" things happen and it's not our responsiblity to make sure every vehicle it in good condiition. Also, fees from ******* is different from what they charged because of location and other fees they tac on like Sunpass and other things like that so beaware. In addition, I had two insurances and the guy only put in one and they never sent me an updated contract with the new vehicle when I forced them to change the vehicle they put me in. The supervisor made it seem like it's no big deal. I also tried numerous ways to get ahold of the branch manager, through the portal, e-mail provided, phone, and even in store, and she has literally avoided this situation all together. No e-mail back, no call backs, ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING!!! I initated a dispute with my bank regarding this because their services were highly unprofessional and under different pretenses.Review fromjie y

1 starzero stars, Easirent is a scam, do not rent from it , all Agents have terrible attitude and no credibility, 11/6/24--11/16/24 I rented car from Easirent with Rav4 SUV, because I suffered a car accident, my car total lost, so I search online, I found out the Easirent Priceline quoted a very cheap rate, so I decided to book with Easirent, for 10 days car hire charge $190.30, state surcharge $20.50, vehicle license fee $19.90, energy surcharge $15, airport concession fee recovery $22.92, Tax $17.76, total price is supposed to be$290.38, this price is very good, is that right? but I actually paid much more than this, when I pick up my rental car, they overcharge me, I total paid $456.20, I asked the agent she with hightligh hair, she was not friendly to tell me said, I don't have collision coverage, so overcharge me $149 for 10 days, but after 2 days I called my insurance company, they told me I did have it. if this isn't a scam, then what is this? even if you say you want to overcharge me $149, let's calculate, $290.38+ $149=$439.38, I paid $456.20, why you overcharge me $16.82 again? why? why? oh I figure out, I forget you are scam. when I took the car away back to home, next day my husband found out the rental car's registration sticker expired for couple months, and than I called Easirent, the agant told me let me drove back to rental site ******************** Orlando FL to talk with manage whose name is *******, when I back to there told the man he is supervisor, he is very rude and with bad manner said, manager is very busy now, you can talk to me, I explained my intention, he didn't say any apologize about it , he pointed a small white car outside said, you can take that, I was very angry said, I rented a SUV, you offer a small car for me, is that same price or not, he said with very rude manner, same price I shocked, is this the attitude a supervisor should have? I said you didn't apologize and didn't compensate me but instead gave me a small carReview fromPedro G

1 starDoesnt deserve not even a star. I was in a hurry and they gave me a vehicle that was dirty and all the seats were stained, back to front Reached out to their complaint email and no response for over 6 days. I have the videos and pictures to prove how dirty and stained it was and no other vehicles available. Even though it was booked and paid several day before. When I returned the vehicle and gave a complaint the guys aid usually of the renter doesnt look a certain way they give the worst cars to those people. Florida drivers are charged more for unlimited. This company should not be in business.Review fromMonica C

1 starRENTER BEWARE!!! DO NOT RENT FROM EASIRENT. Recently rented from Easirent through Priceline due to inexpensive rental price. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. Cars are not cleaned or well maintained. When provided the vehicle, it was filthy inside, looking as if Easirent immediately turned the car over to us as soon as it was brought in. **************** in ********************** is severely lacking. Prior to our airport pick-up I tried calling the office to ask a question, calling repeatedly for about 20 minutes with no answer. When we got to the rental site, there were a group of agents standing around, shooting the breeze all while the phone was ringing. No one paid attention to it and in the time I was waiting, with a long line of other renters as well, the phone was not answered (and no, the agents were not attending to customers). Halfway through the rental period, we began to have issues with the vehicle not running correctly. It took almost 3 hours to get through to someone in customer service in order to figure out a solution then another 2 hours to get a new vehicle to us. We had non-refundable tickets to a special event at *********** that evening that we were not able to attend because of having to wait to get the issue taken care of. Needless to say, won't be renting from them ever again.
