  I would give this place a negative 10 rating if there was such a thing. When we arrived, we went to the counter with the name of rental we booked. We were asked to wait in lobby After a couple minutes, We were called back to a different kiosk than we booked. Oc vs ******. We were asked to provide insurance documents. The female pulled out a sheet from under the desk and stated we did not have enough insurance!! We have great insurance, and deductible. We were told we had to pay an additional ****** over the rental fee to cover insurance!! We would have left except the cab had already left.. thats another part to this mess. I called and asked if there was a shuttle from Orlando ******* to car." yes there is" had to pay a cab!! And then back to drop off the car! 200 total!We had no option but to get the car, or spend another 100 on another cab to take us to our destination! I booked through *******, they agreed to refund our initial car rental as they saw this as a scam as well.We ended up with a car that was full of dents, scratches and had to fill the tires with air more than once in 12 days.I will be contacting the BBB and the State of Fl Attorney ********** paperwork shows All fees *********** NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! 1 entire day wasted!! Along with about 750 hundred extra dollars..plus 200 deposit, which I'm sure they will attempt to keep!****UPDATE****AFTER 1 WEEK HOME, THEY STOLE OUR DEPOSIT. $207.00 TAKEN FROM.OUR BANK ACCOUNT!WE RETURNED THE VEHICLE ON TIME, FULL OF GAS AND TOOK PHOTOS OF THE VEH.REPEAT.. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!**Added info. Attempted 25 phone calls to confirm why the deposit was kept. I was told I had to do it in writing because I filed a dispute with our credit card comany. The very rude female mumbled words, I said I couldn't understand her, could she repeat what she said she then yelled at me and said don't call here if you don't understand me, and hung up. No email, no refund out almost 900 for junk 2022 car

  ******/***** is misleading and fraudulent company. Through Priceline I made a reservation with ADDCar/OCCar for our vacation in *******. It said total cost $77.00. I paid it on my credit card. I carry Nationwide car Insurance and I called Nationwide and they said our policy covers the rental car while we are on vacation just like our regular car. ADDCar/***** also sent us an app. to complete. I believe it was UScanopy which stated they use it to verify insurance. I put in all our info for ********** and it did a check and came back with something like "Ok, you are all set" or "Ok, you are set to go". When our plane landed I called the phone number given on the reservation and all I got was a peeping, that sounded like a fax line. Tried calling multiple times with same results. Went looking for the car rental area. We asked multiple airport employees and other people where do you pick up ADDCar/OCCar. No one seemed to know. We found the airport shuttle bus area and keep trying ADDCar/OCCars' phone number. Finally, after calling 5-6 times, someone answered and they said they would send a Shuttle bus for us. The Shuttle bus took us to their offsite office. The one employee ******* the office was very rude and disrespectful to us and other customers we observed. He said we had to get their insurance and stated the rental car insurance would be $217.35 ($20 per day plus $77.35 in additional fees). He said we had to get their insurance. I asked who the insurance carrier was. He said they were Self-insured and we had to initial his form to get the car. I wanted to just walk away and not rent a car there but he said I could not cancel the reservation and get my money back. We initialed the form which I felt was under duress as he was adamant and yelling at us. Very unprofessional.

  Supplemental insurance should not be a requirement which this OC rental does and uses fine print to scam their customers where they fish their customers from expedia and other travel sites should be banned or adjust their practice

  Came in to pick up a car that was already paid for. The only thing I was supposed to pay for was a $200 deposit. Was told I was going to be charged Insurance even though I have car insurance because they dont except mine. As I sat in the lobby waiting my turn 4 other people went in and left with no car. They tried increase the charges or a surcharge that exceeded the price of the rental. We waited 1.5 hours for a pick up from the airport! This is the worst service I have ever seen. I felt sorry for the shuttle driver as all he did was take people back to the airport without their rented car.

  OC Car Rental is a scam. Do Not do business to them. Below zero rating. They want to charge me in additional of $600 as supplement insurance, but dont explain what is covered. I have US driver license, and a full coverages on car insurance in **. I did not get a car, but went to other car rental to get a car. Luckily I obtain full refund back from my booking agent after explain the situation I had. This company needs to be deleted at all booking agents. DO NOT rent car from OC Car Rental. It is a scam.

  This company is a scam!!! We received our invoice a couple days later and did not get our security deposit back and a $400 smoking fee was charged. No one smoked in or anywhere near the car. After calling them to dispute the charge, he just repeated over and over the car smelled like a cigarette and the $600 will go towards cleaning it. As we are 1500 miles away, we have no way to fight this.

  I should have read all of the negative reviews before renting a car with this small time company. I thought i made a right decision to rent to OC car rental because they only charge me $300 for 5 days plus $9.99/toll pay activation plus $200 security deposit. According to them, it will be returned once the rental car returns without issues. Gas was filled no dent no problem. I asked them my receipts they told me to give them 2-3 days to review my toll activity. I called again after 7 days and the lady who answered the phone was totally rude. And i realized that for a compact car, they charge me for a total of $616.49 for 5 days. They charged me extra from my credit card for another $67 for toll pay and claimed that the gas was half emptied. And i ask my statement or a copy of receipt, the lady whom i spoke on the phone said, you listen to me when i tell you that your receipt is my voice. No receipt but my voice. Then she hung up on me. When i tried to call again and again she hung up on me again and again. Stay away from this scammer. I have learned my ******* Stick with the company with a name and not this no name company.

  The worst company car company. I reserved trough a third party and I supposed to pay ******. When I get to the counter, they charge me additional $600 in insurances, tolls and other charges. So, for 5 days I paid $800 for a ****** Corolla 2022. Do not use this company unless you want to be steal..

  This is a total scam car rental company. It needs to be shut down and prosecuted. Do not use them. on 8/7/2024 we flew from *** to Orlando MCO. Our flight had 2 hours delay. I called before take off from *** and advised **** (whom pretended to be the manager) and advised him we'll be late. He was ok. When we got to the counter after getting picked up by the shuttle (around 10pm) **** asked for my insurance I gave him both the insurance card and the declaration which clearly states full coverage which is what most respectable car rentals look for. **** was not too happy that I had in my possession those documents. He tried to look for any excuse to sell me additional insurance and I categorically stated I had full coverage therefore my insurance is more than enough. he then got nasty with wife and somehow aggressive. then out of nowhere he said our reservation is cancelled when the car we rented was paid in full. We asked to spaek to the manager then **** said I am the manager. We asked whom was the owner and he said my wife is the owner. We were left there hanging till 11pm He did the same scam to a customer (a couple) that preceded us. He charged them double the amount in their agreement. They advised the shuttle driver that picked us from the airport NOT to drive us back. We ended up taking Uber to our hotel as did the couple before us. DON'T USE THEM.

  Do not go here. It all started at the airport, they no you dont want to pay a lot they send you to these people He double charged my account, he pretended that he void the transaction manually offline. Told me the charges would reverse in few minutes 7/10/24. He asked for my card 3 times something told me to check my account while I there, he had already double charge my account.I told him and showed him and he started to rush me out of there. Told me he would send everything to my email. Guess what he never sent receipts to my email. But he did give me hand copies and so I can use this to file a claim on this company. The charges never returned to my card its still pending transaction hold on my account. 7/14 Then he has not returned my $200 either deposit said it would be 3-7 days. Still pending transaction called them and they want answer my calls. Had to call from other numbers. Spoke to women ask them to release the hold. They will not release the hold transactions. They also charge my card for 1 cent 2 days after returning my car. These are scammers and frauds. I believe they are doing this to women be aware. Spend extra money and go with known car rental place. ****** learned .. 0 is the no rating they absolutely are frauds
