On 9/15 2020 I contracted with Flooring Master for my new flooring 455 sq ft at a cost of $2,689.61. The installation was done in 10/ 2020. They removed the carpet and the tile. My D-I-L Deborah inquired about the subfloor. They said they were done for the day, not to worry, all would be taken care of. She told me to expect perhaps an increase of price if additional prep work was required. This was discussed with Dan (Sales) and Fernandus (not sure of the spelling), the installer. for 2 the installers returned to installed the floor. Nothing was said about the subfloor nor do I know if any prep work was completed prior to the installation of the LVP. They completed the install in a few hours. We inspected the final product. It seemed fine. However, the tile for in the void for the fridge and 2 closets was not completed as he ran out of material. My son had to drive to the location in Lutz where a few planks were left outside for him. The installer returned to complete the areas he did not previously complete. We were left with 2 planks as overage. The next day (I cannot recall who) came by to inspect the installation and to see if I was happy with it. I said yes. Appx 2 wks later one of the planks started lifting at the seam. I called Flooring Master, a tech came out a few days later & glued it. You can tell where it is glued but I have an area rug over it so therefore I accepted it. Fast forward to 1/ 2021. I noticed a plank lifting & separating at the seam with another bend near the end seam in a different area. I called Flooring Master. I was told someone would get back to me. No one did. I called a week later & they had no record of me calling, apologized, again promised someone would contact me. No one did. I called about 2 days after & was told someone would call before the end of business day. This continues to this day. Please see the attached long version as this problem is now over 1 year and has not been rectified. But it was made worse.
