Loyal Source is a contract provider for the veterans administration; This company schedules medical exams for veterans, They scheduled an exam for 5/13 in ******* ca for me. The morning of 5/13 Loyal source called me at home and said my doctor in ******* had an emergency and we had to reschedule the exam. I told the the Loyal source scheduler I would be on vacation from 5/31 to 6/15 and an appointment was made for 6/18 at 1030 am. While on vacation Loyal source sent another exam appointment for 6/11 at 3 pm. I was unaware of this change as I was not at home but hundreds of miles away. Loyal Source called either the day before or day of this appointment and left a message that I was to report for the exam on 6/11. I called and left two messages that I was on vacation hundreds of miles from ******* and that I had an appointment for 6/18 already in ******* and that someone had made a mistake in scheduling at their office. I did not hear back for a few days. I called a few days later and left another message. Finally I got a call back and spoke to a woman that would not give me her name. She told me I had missed two appointments and that they were canceling my claim for medical exams and treatment with the VA. I told her I had not missed two appointments and that their office had cancelled the first appointment on behalf of the Doctor in ******* and that their office mistakenly made a third appointment that I could not make. The person that I spoke with from the ************** was very dismissive, rude and venomous in her treatment of me. I have the three appointment documents that were mailed to me that show the sequence of events as described. My domestic partner *********************** was witness to both the emergency cancelation on 5/13 and the events that followed. My concern is for myself and other veterans that *** be affected by incompetence or neglect by this contract provider representing the VA. I contacted my VA Rep and they sent me to you for assistance. ************

I was contacted by a representative from my **************** VA's ****** yesterday regarding this same concern after I sent my BBB report to them.

I told her I was reporting to my appointment for today that was made on 5/13, when they called and told me the Doctor was unavailable for my appointment in ******* that day.

I wanted to go to that meeting to hear the latest version why not or to be examined as originally scheduled.

We discussed this in detail, the fact that I had been rescheduled for the 18th of June when the Doctor was unavailable and that I had called them back explaining I was hundreds of miles from ******* and could not make the appointment date on the 11th of June and why die they schedule me knowing I was away?

This time they claimed I was denied service today because the appointment later made for me while I was gone was missed. I am guessing the Doctor was in on the 13th so now they no longer use this reason to deny service.

These people are crooks they are taking advantage of the government and veterans they are supposed to serve.

    Best, jjb
