We purchased a new build and moved in June of 2023. The day we moved in, we put in a warranty claim about the front and garage door not closing/sealing properly. It is now January **** and they are STILL not correct. A variety of workers have been to our house at least 5 times. They "fix" it but make it worse in the process. Everyone agrees it isn't correct but cannot figure out how to fix it and passes it on to the next person. The doors don't shut properly, they pop open, and light can be seen through (even after adjusting the weather stripping). They entirely replaced the 2 doors because they were the wrong size, and it still isn't correct. Holding a level lengthwise to the wall on each side of the door shows that the walls are not straight. One side sticks out half an inch and the other sticks out an inch. Additionally, upstairs floors creak, squeak, and pop. The contractor they sent out basically said there was nothing to be done and floors will creak. Unacceptable in a less than a year old home. Our master bathroom floor was uneven. The contractor swore it wasn't his subfloor, just the luan being warped. The shower was removed and it was in fact the subfloor. The issue is, they didn't fix the entire thing and the patches they made caused more issues. And again, it took 3+ months for that to even be "fixed" to what it is. It's been 2 months since and our trim still hasn't been replaced that they removed. Additionally, they cracked our bathroom sink and have yet to fix it. Our downstairs bathroom shower had a crack the day we moved in. We submitted a claim. It took 3 months for them to send someone out to fix it, even with us following up multiple times. In the meantime, we were told we couldn't use that shower/bathtub. Our floor is uneven in the kitchen and dining room. It's sloped and has humps. It took months for them to send someone out and verify it is out of code and needs to be corrected. Still waiting for it to be fixed.Customer response

I reached out with no response but I tried to get this changed. I clicked on the wrong company and didn't realize it until after submitting my claim. I do not have an issue with this company.Business response

I spoke with Ms. ******* and based on my conversation Ms. ******* realized we are NOT the builder she intended to file a complaint about.
The correct builder is Century Complete.
Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

I signed a contract with Craft Homes on 1/29/2022 for a home in the ********** subdivision in Lake Nona (Orlando, FL). I paid $72,000 as a down payment to hold lot 184. At the time I was debating between lot 144 which is near the community pool and 184 which was in a corner of the subdivision. I opted for 184 to avoid noise from the pool. 4/9/2022 there was chatter on the ********** Facebook page about Osceola Parkway extension project cutting through **********, Fells Landing, and Isles of Lake Nona. My lot 184 in the corner is roughly 200 feet from the planned expressway. I did not have any documentation regarding the project. Others (mostly ************* clients) had addendums they had been sent and even renderings of the expressway in their contracts. I had nothing. There are many others who are Craft clients like me that were also not informed by the sales rep.The ********** community took a proactive approach and met with the project manager for****** who is managing the extension project. We were able to get most of our questions answered but there are still some gaps. This expressway will be a 6-lane highway similar to 417.For those of us who were not aware of the expressway- we want to know what our options are. I want to move forward but would like to see a sound barrier and landscaping along the highway. I want to have the option to change lots and have my pricing honored as I was not aware of the highway being built and would have chosen a different lot. Courtney the Craft sales manager informed me that ************* did not have a sound barrier built in to the project and she can guarantee that even if I escalate this to Christopher P***, VP of Sales and Marketing, that the response will be the same. As far as landscaping to help with the aesthetic, it is something that can be discussed but not currently built into the plans.I have been informed that I can back out of the contract and receive my desposit but would have to pay $500.Please help.Initial Complaint

After the green/blue tape walk through I was never given the opportunity to do a final walk through to verify all mistakes were fixed I was given assurances that this work would be completed within the two weeks upon taking possession of the house. It's been a total of 60 days since, I've occupied and moved into the home and thus far, multiple attempts of repeated emails, text messages, & phone calls to Luis Marrero (worst agent ever) from my my realtor and I since my reach outs are never responded the only two issues have been fixed to an extend considering I still have loose pavers in the front of my home and not fully sealed. In the 60 days, I still have unpainted walls, cracks on walls, faulty appliances, cracked cabinets, a moldy bathtub that I was told would be replaced but then, changed to needed "paint" by the construction Manager Ray. Not to mention the house was also, given with the doors not having the doorknobs attached to them and The list could go on this is absolutely ridiculous, this is a brand new home I purchased and the one of the worst experiences I have ever gone through.
