I am writing to file a complaint regarding the doctor and his staff at Kirkland Medical Center, a clinic specializing in immigration medical examinations. On July 7th, my spouse and I visited the clinic. We paid $225 per person, but we were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the professionalism of the doctor and his front desk. Firstly, the doctor insisted on conducting additional tests that are not required by the USCIS, resulting in unnecessary extra expenses for us. These tests were outside the scope of the immigration application. What’s required by USCIS based on our age group (18-64 years): Td/Tdap Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Hepatitis B Varicella COVID-19 ******************************************************************************************************************* In addition to the list above, the doctor was asking for extra tests for Polio and Hep A, and refused to admit the USCIS vaccine requirements. A quote from the doctor “Those requirements are for U.S. citizens, not for immigrants like you guys. There’s another distinct set of rules for immigrants. As immigrants, you have to obey the rules.” Furthermore, the doctor refused to provide a printed copy of the test orders and declined to communicate via email. This has caused significant inconvenience as I am unable to proceed with the necessary referrals without the printed test orders. As a patient, I expect convenient communication with the doctor and access to the necessary documents and information. Therefore, I am requesting a refund of the fees paid. I believe the unprofessional conduct and unjustified demands of this doctor have caused undue distress and financial burden. As a specialized clinic catering to immigration medical examinations, I expect professional and responsible service.
