    I purchased a new 2021 Slingshot car from Cycle Sports Center on 11/17 shortly after taking the car, the check engine light turned on and I brought the car for service back to the dealership on 12/30/21. They returned the car back to me on the same day for what appeared to have been fixed. Then a few days later the check engine light came on again and I brought the car back for service on 01/12/22. They gave me the car back on 1/19/22 and told me that the issue had been fixed. Unfortunately the check engine light came on again a few days after that and I had to bring back the car to the dealership on 3/8/22. Today is 4/6/22 almost a month later and the dealership has not yet fixed or returned the car back to me and they still don't know exactly what is wrong with the car. I also called POLARIS, the manufacturer of the vehicle to report this issue and opened a case with them (CASE# ********, I explained that I don't feel safe with that car any more and that I don't want the car anymore. After 3 times of bringing the car for service back and forth to the dealer and no clear response from them and/or the manufacturer as to what is wrong with the car I need to formally escalate a Lemon Law claim on this issue as I believe the dealership sold me a defective vehicle from the the beginning. The car had less than 1,000 miles on it and is not safe to drive and I need for the dealer and/or the manufacturer to buy it back and fully reimburse the $31,594.07 that I had originally paid in cash for it. I have already expressed my discontent to both the dealer and Polaris yet no clear response has been provided to me on my request.

    I recently had a pretty remarkable experience with Cycle Sports Center in Orlando, Florida. I am a Tampa resident who was interested in a particular motorcycle, and I discovered that this store had one in the color that I preferred. I called them to confirm that it was still available, and when I was assured that it was, I advised them that I wanted to buy it. When I advised them that I wouldn't be able to pick the bike up until a couple of days later, they advised me that they couldn't hold it. I countered that I didn't want them to hold it; I wanted to buy it immediately and that I was willing to give them a credit card or if it was easier, I would provide my bank account number and bank aba number to make the transaction right away.
    Eric, the young man with whom I was speaking indicated that he couldn't accept a credit card (in spite of the fact that they advertise that they indeed accept credit cards), because of the 3% fee that they were charged by card companies. I assured him that I would cover the full cost of the 3% fees, but for some reason that didn't fly with Eric's Sales Manager, Mike a disinterested character more inclined to bloviation than customer service. When he got on the phone with me, he ranted about people who left deposits and asked for them back later, and complained that bank transfers taking too long, but made no attempt to find a way to take the full payment I offered. The best part is that when I tried to counter his pretty lengthy diatribe about banks and credit card fees (again, which I gladly offered to pay), he dismissed me for not allowing him to speak. I wish it was recorded. Subsequently, I looked at the company's rating on ****. It was an appropriate 2 stars. I would strongly recommend that they empower Eric more fully, and can the pompous and condescending Sales Manager, Mike in favor of someone interested in making sales and servicing customers.
