      I returned my leased Honda to Hyundai only because they have a Honda Dealership within their umbrella company. Oct 30, 2021, I had a deal with them for my new leased car . Now 2 months later they have not paid for my Honda leased car and I am in default on my loan. I have never been late on any payment and have excellent credit. Hyundai has dropped the ball but promise to rectify the situation, but as of yet it is not resolved. It should not take 2 plus months to payoff a leased car.

      I put $500 check to hold a vehicle that was to be in 12-2-21. I called daily from 11-29-21 to 12-7 about the car. My father was going into hospice and I had to leave town. The salesman called my daughter's phone on 12-9-21 which is not the number I gave him. However he did cash my check. I never signed any contract and was never told a deposit was non refundable. I have continued to call daily, being told someone would get back to me.

      I purchased a new car and should have had $20k in equity in my trade based upon what I agreed on. My finance paperwork comes in a month later and only shows $9k. NOBODY can or will tell me where the rest of my money goes. I submit emails, make phone calls, and I'm met with ignorance. I submit an online inquiry with details and get a call within seconds because they see I'm "shopping for a car." The sales person I had was fabulous but the "manager" is a slimy, unethical thief who will be facing legal action. I demand the rest of my money or proof as to where it went. None of my paperwork shows what we agreed upon - or ANYTHING relating to the price or my trade.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/12) */ I have spoken to the customer, the trade is with 20k equity. At the customers request we are cancelling Maintenance, Extended Service contract and GAP Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/11/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The dealership only contacted me after I filed a BBB complaint. They ignored and didn't respond to all other attempts by me to contact them. When I purchased the car I verified multiple times that everything they were telling me about (warranty, valet service, protection plan) was included. They said yes. They also told me GAP insurance was required. Upon talking to the manager after filing this complaint, I was charged $7k+ in extras that I didn't agree to, including GAP that is in fact, optional. They are cancelling and refunding all of those extras but I won't see the money as it has to go to the bank who holds my lien. PLEASE do not do business here. They are liars and thieves.

      On the evening of 9/21/21, we Informed Finance person "Pina" and his supervisor how our payments needed to be around 350.00 for 2018 Hyundai priced #18,700.00 on website Cargurus.com. When called to the finance officer's "Pina's" office we were told payments were $472.00. $152.00 a month More! We feel that this dealer committed dishonesty in originally adding charges of $3000.00 for a warranty which vehicle already had through Hyundai Corp FOR NO CHARGE, because car was a CPO One owner Vehicle. I later spoke with Red Hoagland Hyundai of Winter Haven Fl. who told me they do not charge for the warranty for CPO one owner vehicles. I also called Tanami Hyundai in Naples who told us the same thing. The Vehicle we purchased should have cost us 18,700.00+1,122.00 Tax + 1000.00 Dealer Fee for a sub total of 20,822.00, minis our 3,000 Trade. For the Grand financed total of 17,822.00. (We transferred our tags) It cost us 26,000.00 out the door. A 46% increase in the vehicle price. 46%. Also;

      Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/11/02) */ Dear Sir/Madam, We sold the car for $18,688 plus a reconditioning fee of $99 as listed on each listing of used cars by Greenway Hyundai. ON 9/18/2021 I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid form Greenway Hyundai. The purchase took a few hours. Once I got into the Finance office, there was some haggling back and forth as usual. We completed the transaction and gave my deposit. The Finance Manager said he would be right back, and he was going to make copies for me. He handed me the envelope and told me I was all set. On 9/20/2021- 2 days later I went to file my paperwork at home and realized I didn't have all the documents I had signed. What I did have was 7 pages of partial documents with information that was cut off and missing. I have called repeatedly from 9/21/21- 10/1/2021 with no response from the finance department. I simply want all the documents I signed for this transaction.

      Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/10/28) */ Contact Name and Title: Ken ****** Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: *********@OrlandoHyundai.com I have left a voicemail for Mr ******, we have signed contract with 5.15 as the rate signed by him, rate was also disclosed on other documents and are being emailed to him. The addendum gives the customer all items charged for: Greenway Accessory Package and Luxcare. As in the addendum there is no charge by running boards as they were not installed or charged for. Ken ****** Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2021/10/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have emailed Ken with my concerns and additional paperwork. He stated he was off today 11/28 and he would review the deal tomorrow 11/29. I will await his response. Business Response /* (4000, 26, 2021/11/22) */ We have agreed to all items that need to be installed and offered Mr. ****** to finance his vehicle at a lower rate! Consumer Response /* (4200, 28, 2021/11/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) At this time, I am still waiting on the refinance at a lower rate as mentioned in the latest response. I have not been contacted for this item. I am not sure how to proceed for the lower financing. There are still 3 outstanding items: 1) Oil maintenance contract that was to be included 10 year/ 100k miles 2) The dealership collected $ 39,350 to pay off the truck. The actual check send to GTE was in the amount of $39, 314.49. The dealer contends they sent the full $ 39,350.00 to GTE and I need to collect the remaining $ 35.51 from the bank. If needed, I can provide the loan statement 3) I purchased my truck at Greenway Dodge Ram originally. When I asked for the paperwork for the GAP insurance refund, I was told because they are a Greenway dealer, the refund would be automatically sent to me. We are getting closer to a complete resolution and I look forward to hearing back from the dealer Thank you Business Response /* (4000, 41, 2021/12/14) */ We have offered our resolution. We can assist Mr. ****** to re-finance, we did not charge for Maintenance, only warranty and Gap. The car he purchased comes with 3 year Maintenance! Consumer Response /* (4200, 43, 2021/12/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The dealership states they have offered a resolution however they have not contacted me. When I attempt to contact the dealership I get no assistance and sent to voice mail, which states the the VM box is full. As far as the maintenance, they still have not explained why I have 3 different versions of finance contracts. The 7 pages I was given at the time of the purchase, the contract the dealer provided and the contract that was provided by Hyundai Finance are different and signatures are different. In fact, the paper contract given at the purchase was not signed by the dealership, however the other 2 contract are signed by the dealer. I feel this issue will not be resolved through the BBB and I am currently seeking other action. Thank you
