I contacted wheelzy to sell some old vehicles.I answered all of their questions about the condition of the vehicle I was guaranteed a payment of $550.They set up a pick up time.The tow driver arrived at about 10am on 10/12/22.The driver called his "boss" then said he was only gonna pay me $200.They boast about their guaranteed quotes the driver will not Hagel with you.Everythng they advertise is false and they are down right liars.That is bad business in my opinionBusiness response

Contacted Wheelzy via web search to purchase out of service 2000 VW Passat. Used their web form to report status of vehicle. Was given a contract amount of $313 to pick up and remove the vehicle. Web form was filled in 100% accurately. When their tow driver came he would only pay $200 even though the contracted amount was $313. Wheelzy had delivered incorrect info to the tow driver and he adjusted on the spot.Business response

Auto broker mislef me. My car had been stolen, dispatcher asked if catalytic converter was still on car. I didn't know because hadn't seen car yet. He said no big deal, added $30 on and said the tow truck operator won't care much. Fine. Turns out it is $300 less. Well, he got me. I would have gone with someone else had I bothered to verify his lie.Business response

I sold this company my van. The van was picked up in Springfield, Mo where my son was going to school. I sent the title via *** and they received it 5/20/2022. I was contacted that they needed the lien release as well. I sent the lien release via ****** and they received it 5/27/2022. I had not received a check in the mail as promised. I contacted them 6/10 & 6/14 because I still hadn't received a check. I was told the check was on the way. Contacted them again on 6/22/2022. I was told the check was sent 6/20. It is 7/11/2022 and I have still not received payment. I have called multiple times after that. I have been told each time that someone would contact me. I have not received a call. On the last call I was told that the persons manager would call me back. I asked for their name and contact information and was told they couldn't give that out after a very heated exchange. It appears that they have no intention of paying me and I have no idea what else to do.Initial Complaint

On June 6th 2022 I sold my nissan armada through wheelzy for $350. When the tow truck arrived to pick up the vehicle I was handed a check of $350. Upon cashing the check we were notified a week later that it was not deposited due to insufficient funds. I contacted wheelzy who put me on hold numerous times and finally transferred me to someone who told me that they would settle the matter through "corporate". We have NOT recieved our money yet. Still waiting. We have not been contacted at all. Legal action will be taken if need be. I've attached a photo of our returned check which was also sent to the people who sent it!Initial Complaint

April 11, 2022 I called Wheelzy for them to purchase a car that I had. He quoted price of $951 then increased it to $1,001. I agreed and it was to be picked up on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. On Tuesday I called Rico(who is the person I talked to) to let him know the deal was still on. I talked to another man who stated I needed all of this other paperwork. I asked to speak to Rico and I was given the run around. I hung up and the towing company called me asking could they pick the car up today(April 12). I said no. The towing company which was IAA. They called again saying that they didn't have anyone on Wednesday to tow it. I informed them No. I then called them back and told them to cancel the towing. Rico calls back apologizing stating it was schedule for Wednesday and I said no, I'm cancelling the transaction. He later texted me stating he needed to talk with me. I texted back telling him that if he didn't stop texting me, I'm calling the police. This is a scam, and I don't want anyone to come get the car. I'm sure it's nothing you can do. Also, the address is for Orlando Florida, but it also said they were located in Suffolk, VA. I feel this is a scam.Initial Complaint

Contacted Wheelzy about having a vehicle picked up. The dispatch was fine, but the driver never made contact within the time frame (or entire day). I notified dispatch i would be using another service from that point and they acknowledged. After I had another company perform the service, I have been repeatedly harassed by the Wheelzy dispatch as well as 3 separate driver phone numbers due to excessive/repeated back to back phone calls. This is a very unprofessional business and no one should have to deal with this lack of customer service. Clearly only in this for the money and nothing else.Initial Complaint

An affiliate of this company failed to follow the guarantee on the website. A quote was given, then the affiliate called and reduced the offer. Then when they came to pick it up, they gave the assigned agent $50 less than the already reduced quote. When I called to speak to someone, I was brushed off with excuses and when I pressed the issue they hung up on me. Wheelzy was contacted on 9/30 and a quote of $485 was provided. I was contacted by ***************** who changed the offer, dropping it to $285 because the catalytic converter was so old. I agreed to the reduced price and arranged for pickup on 10/4. I left the paperwork with my elderly dad as I had to go to work. ***** showed up on 10/4 and told him that they keep $50 for fees and gave him $235 and took the vehicle. Wheelzy refused to honor their guarantee
