On June 13, 2024, we responded to an add for BBQ sauce and purchased, via cash app, $100 worth of sauce for a 4th of July BBQ event. The sauce was to arrive within 5 days and it was never delivered. I contacted the owner multiple times who indicated she was in ******* and would have it brought to me, by someone who lives in *********** where I reside. The owner suggested it be "dropped off"because there appeared to be an issue with shipping the products. We excahnged a series of text messages and phone calls and I was never able to get the sauce delivered or picked up. Prior to the 4th of July event, I found I would not have the sauce in time and told the business owner, because of the delays, I needed a refund. She insisted it would be delivered immediately which never happened. After the 4th of July, I requested a refund as, according to the text messages and calls shared with the owner, the sauce had been with several people who were to deliver it to me and I did not think it was safe, nor did I need it after my holiday event. The owner refused (via text and on the phone) to provide a refund eventhough she ackonwledged I had not received the sauce. It has been months and she has blocked our number, social media messaging capability, and has refused to respond to my requests for a refund. Further, she sent a text message threatening me with legal action when I insisted the refund be submitted immediately. In looking into legal representation, we found the attorney she used was not able to practice in ******* or address her concerns at the time she claimed to be meeting with him. At this time, several months later, the owner has failed to provide any solutuon and I am trying to resolve this peacefully and quickly. Resolution would mean a refund of the $100 paid at this point as the sauce is no longer needed. It is not my desire to harm her business but I do feel her business practices are questionable and I am certainly due a refund for the products..
