I had work done on the attic April 4, 2024 of this year. An inspector said there were possible raccoons in the attic. They came and sealed up the area, and I paid about $742 for the work to be done. Now I'm hearing noises on the roof or attic again. Not sure if the whole area was sealed and I don't have $ to have work done again. All I want is someone to come by and inspect the roof and attic. I had work done on my roof and don't want damage done to the shingles or anything else.

Hello, we did work a few weeks ago at customers property. An exclusion of an area that had raccoons getting in roof area. We returned approx a week later for a follow up. At that time the customer had not heard anything since the exclusion was done. There was no other evidence of any further activity. Job was completed. Customer started hearing noises again on saturday night 5/18/24. Customer was contacted on monday 5/20/24, as our offices are closed on sundays. I spoke with customer and he explained he just started hearing noises on saturday. I am scheduled to go out and inspect his property to take care of the issue tomorrow 5/21/24. We fully stand by our work done and want all of our customers satisfied in a timely manner. Thank you, please let me know if there is anything else we need to do to resolve this issue.

In October 11th of 2023 FPL came out to remove rats. After the first visit the rats got so bad they chewed through most of the cupboards, fridge wire and insulation, many drywall holes and wiring in the attic among much other costly damage. The tenants in the house were catching rat after rat and demanded we call someone who knew what they were doing. I contacted Animal Control ************* ************ who did an amazing job getting rid of the rats that day with no further issues. The technician (****) said FPL did nothing but maybe spray some expanda foam... I contacted FPL canceling the next follow **** informed them again of the service not being done properly if at all. I received an apology and was assured no further steps were necessary. A few months later received an email for a bill of $895. I called explained again, I was told the billing had been disputed in the system and received the same apology and assured no further steps were necessary. I requested if any issues to be contacted so we could resolve. I heard nothing until last week when I received a collection notice for the service that was never done... I contacted FPL again on 4/26/23 speaking to ****** and ********* who told me they could do nothing but assured me I would get a call back within 48 hours and have heard nothing since. All I want is a letter/email stating this has been corrected so the collection agency can remove me from their list.

We purchased our home in September 2015, shortly after which we enlisted the services of Florida Pest Control (a subsidiary of Rentokil) to carry out regular pest control services including their termite protection service and associated insurance policy renewed annually. Each termite service is certificated for 10 years, after which time the product is reapplied. We understand that after each application a notice should be applied to the electrical box or other prominent area. This was confirmed today (02/27/2024) by their second representative when he was unable to locate any such notification. I am able to access my account on line which details information about each service provided, including dates of application and products used. My online account has no details relating to any termite protection treatment. The only information was that the next treatment is due in 2030, suggesting that one was carried out in 2020, however there is no evidence of this. Therefore I can only conclude no termite protection service/product has ever been applied for the duration of my contract with Florida Pest Control.Whilst the insurance policy remains in place I would prefer preventative measures applied as opposed to having to undergo the disruption of remedial work caused by an avoidable issue,Having only recently become aware of this concerning situation, I have made numerous attempts to resolve the issue as such a lapse in application is extremely concerning, and could have devastating consequences to the integrity of our property. When I called I was initially told the treatment wasn't due till 2030. When I explained the situation they arranged for it to be carried out on Thursday 2/22/2024. That representative said he was not licensed for that treatment and to contact the office again.. I did and it was rescheduled for Tuesday 2/27/2024. That representative said he was only there for an inspection not to carry out the treatment. .

Good morning and thank you for allowing Florida Pest Control the opportunity to respond to this correspondence.  ********************* the Operations Manager for the ************ Florida Pest Control branch location contacted the ********* and had a pleasant conversation about the treatment notice not being found on the electrical box in the home.  We both agree that one should be posted as the treatment was provided on the date suggested.  Florida Pest Control with the ********* permission will be visiting the property this week to place the treatment notice on the electrical box.  This was an acceptable resolution for the *********.

Thank you for allowing Florida Pest Control the opportunity to resolve this situation.

On 1/31/23 i got an inspection by James at Florida Pest Control. No service was done. No service was agreed upon. He suggested mattress covers, which i purchased over the phone with my credit card, a week or so later. He delivered them to my house and most were the wrong size. On 3 different phone conversations after that he told me that he was going to drop off the right size ones at my house, the next day. He never did, nor did he try to contact me to say he wasn't coming. My husband and I got a bill for the amount listed on the inspection that was the price for a spray. The service , as i stated above, was never performed. I called the company, and my husband did as well, to dispute the charge. I have spoken to Sam, Tina, Theresa and Gena. Sam spoke to the technician , James, who told her that in fact, NO, he did not spray my house. No services were done except the sale of the covers, which are paid for. Sam told me that she would take care of it and somebody would get back with me. Nobody ever got back with me. I called a week later and spoke to Tina. The charge was still there. She assured me it would be taken care of. No follow up call rec'd. A week later i called and spoke to Gena who told me the general manager would call me shortly. No call ever rec'd from GM Chad S******. Gena and Teresa both told me that the bill was being disputed. I was told that the doors to the Winter Haven office are locked to customers, so i didn't bother going there.

Thank you for allowing Florida Pest Control the opportunity to respond to this complaint.  There was never a pest control service provided by Florida Pest Control but only bed bug mattress covers purchased. As a result, we have reached out to the customer and agreed upon picking up the original issued bed bug mattress covers and applying a full refund to the customer's account. This is the direction that the customer wanted to take and Florida Pest Control agreed to that request.

On the customer portal it read a tech would be out to spray the lawn March.1st, 2023 to spray a pesticide to rid my ant problem all insects supposedly. No verbal warning nothing from the company. I paid Mike H***** Agent 99.00 dollars 02/27/23 had no written receipt until two days later. I wanted my service cancelled at that point. You cannot get in touch with these people for days. I wanted my service cancelled and my bank card deleted so no more charges can be taken out. We moved to Lake butler in 2019. We decided since it was a rural area and we have a nice size yard we would have someone come out and do some treatments in house and outside. We thought the treatments were working until we started to see roaches. So they came out did a more indeapth spraying and even went as far as a TLC plan that we were put on which ment they came out every 14daysto retreat. When that didn't work and I refused to pay them for service not provided they put me in collections for 91 dollars. This is not the way business should be conducted. If you felt you have done everything that is included in the plan price and so no longer can a dress the issue then just say that. Don't fill a false collection like I haven't been paying for the services that I feel didn't help.
