We were scheduled to use Mandi Poppins Pet Care to watch our dog when we travelled for Christmas break. Our total charge was $462. Unfortunately, our daughter fell ill throwing up multiple times at the airport and we had to return home and cancel the trip. I offered the company the opportunity to keep half of the money for the late cancellation ($231) and provide a $231 credit for future use. Mandi Poppins is refusing to provide anything including the service I actually paid for now. After trying to negotiate nicely, I am now seeking a refund. I would even settle for half of the $462.

Below is a cancellation policy that ***************** is trying to protest.

"Christmas/*** (12/15-01/02) payment will be due in full on December 1st to secure visits.

Should you need to cancel you will need to do so within 10 days of your scheduled departure in order to receive a refund."

****************** had visits scheduled to start on 12/26 at 12pm and he cancelled on 12/26 at 8:43am due to family illness. While we sympathize with anyone experiencing sickness or any issues that result in cancelling at the last minute, our policies still stand.

****************** called and spoke to me letting me know this would be his course of action if I did not bend my rules and do what he wanted.
