    Although insurers pay premiums, Nationwide has a history of not paying claims due to storm/wind damages, as in the exact case here. Strong winds came through blowing over a tree and folding up shingles and loosening others. However, my adjuster who states she has never seen wind do this, again is trying to not pay for proper wind damages based on her opinion.

    A new roof was installed in mid 2020 to both parties satisfaction. Since then, water spot damage was beginning to form in the garage ceiling. Investigation during a rain storm revealed water penetration around a plumbing vent stack, into the attic, down through the insulation, and onto the drywall ceiling.This issue requires a warranty service to fix the roofing at the penetration to the plumbing vent pipe. I had called and coordinated with a representative (*******************************) in March 2024 but received no followup.I had called again and final spoke to someone in April 2024 that said that person no longer works at Nationwide, send all your information to ****************************** I am unaware of the relationship to Nationwide roofing.Since then, I can not speak to anyone and any number related to Nationwide roofing, General Contracting via phone, email, the contact us link online, etc. Nationwide has gone dark and is not returning any calls, messages, correspondence and avoiding their warranty responsibility.

    8/11/2023 contract signed for a new shingle roof by inhouse staff that are vetted and insured. Part of the shingles were torn off by people with no ID of any kind and admitted to being unskilled labour working for daily pay with no insurance. Insurance proof sent by Nationwide was from another company run out of a residential apartment and insured the owner only. Nationwide Roofing admitted to not having inhouse roofers despite contract and claims. They did not provide a subcontractor with vetted insured roofers. They have the insurance money but have not paid for the shingle that stacked on the roof. They are not returning calls or email.

    We ised Nationwide Roofing to install roof. We had to send letter to begin criminal complaint to get them to do roof. Only when their 30 days were up did they start. After nine months of constant contact. They never did receive the final permit inspection for the roof so the roof never passed the building inspections. I would never recommend them. Contract manager quit. We had to tract down new project manager, but he was unable to get the job completed. After nine months of excuses we sent certified letter with the required 30 day completion requirement. They have never completed the job since they never received the final building permit.

    In 2017 we purchased a new roof. Last year I noticed a cap cam loose from the roof. Called and opened a warranty claim. They told me it would be fixed. Led me on for the last 6 months never sending anyone to make the repair. And now they are telling me they are going out of business. If they won't fix the roof they installed and have warranty on I would like my money back so I can have someone install a roof I can have a warranty on.

    To Whom It May ********** name is *********************. I reside at ***************************************************************************. In the beginning of March 2023, my wife ************************************** and I were approached by a representative of Nationwide Roofing in reference to possible damage on our roof due to a recent hail storm in the city. We signed an installation agreement with the company on March 7, 2023 and we were promised legal help from them to get a settlement from the insurance company. Based on the agreement, our balance at the end of completion would be $500.00. The representative promised the balance would be waived if we allowed the company to put one of their business sign in our front yard, which we agreed. A few months later, a check was mailed to us for endorsement by the mortgage company and us. After all was done, the roughly $17,000 endorsed check was sent back to the company. The roof work was due to start in July, 2023. After numerous calls back and forth with Nationwide Roofing, the work finally started in the beginning of February, 2024. A few workers came to my residence, took out the shingles, replaced a few rotten boards and put a white paper on the roof. About a week later, I was told by Nationwide Roofing representatives that they were waiting on permitting from the *********************. In the meantime, a 20-foot trailer is left behind in my driveway and we are now forced to park in the street. My roof is still without the shingles and the constant rain is damaging my roof even more. I attempted to call the company many times and was continuously being given the run around. I would appreciate the bureau's help in getting my roof work completed by Nationwide Roofing as soon as possible.Sincerely yours,*********************

    Nation wide roofing took the check from the insurance company and took over a year to put up the roof and didnt finish it. I was overcharged for a job not done. They are scammers. Do not hire this company, they said the company was sold to a new guy named *******. Who never answers the phone. This should be illegal as they too over 15k dollars and didnt do their job! They took advantage of the fact that we went through a hurricane and used it to steal money from people! I will be contacting my lawyer for criminal charges and damages.

    In November of 2022, I requested a quote from Nationwide roofing company for a new roof due to storm damage to my house. I was contacted by ************************* as a project manager. He gave me a quote, but my insurance did not agree with the assessment. ************************* recommended to get in contact with an attorney from ***********************, and dispute the insurance assessment. In June of 2023 the insurance agreed to pay $20,000 to cover for the roof damages. Per instructions from the roofing company, I needed to send them the check to cover for the materials for the roof. In September 2023 I reached out to ************************* and he did not answer. I called Nationwide and I was told that ****** was not working with them any longer and my new project manager was going to be *******************. The communication with ******************* was difficult and very rarely would he answer my messages. The first week of January I wasn't sure by ******************* and ********************************* that my roof project would start in 6 to 8 weeks. I reached out to ******************* and ********************************* the first week of February 2024, and the email was sent back as undeliverable. I called Nationwide multiple times and no one answered. My father stopped by the office listed on the website and the office was vacant. I found a phone number from the dispute department at Nationwide and ******* answered. She stated that the company has a new owner and ******************* and ********************************* are no longer with the company. She also stated that my roof will start in about 4 weeks and they're waiting on the materials. I also reached out to the attorney from Sunshine stay Law Firm for legal advice, the office said that they don't work for Nationwide but they will call *******.I'm not sure when my roof will be completed but I'm concerned about this company cashing the check insurance and not completing the work. Timeline of Events:November 2022: Requested a quote from Nationwide Roofing Company for a new roof due to storm damage.June 2023: Insurance agreed to pay $20,000 to cover the roof damages.September 2023: Reached out to *************************, the project manager, but he did not respond.January 2024: Informed by ******************* and ********************************* that **************** would start in 6 to 8 weeks.February 2024: Emails to ******************* and ********************************* were returned as undeliverable. Called Nationwide multiple times, but no one answered.Present: Concerned about the company cashing the insurance check and not completing the work.

    I have attached method of payment.  I wrote on the initial message 20k, but the insurance wrote 2 checks. One for the roofing company for 15k and one for the lawyer for 6000. I just received a copy of the cashed check from the insurance company.

    Contract #*********** - Total Roof replacement approved by my insurance carrier Farmers October 2023. Contract entered on 10/31 with NGC with a deposit of $13,000 made on 11/3/23. Per contract, roof to be replaced within 6-8 weeks. Home ************ approved roof replacement on 11/30/23 and NGC was advised. Since this date NGC has never initiated any communication about when the roof would be replaced. I have called and text with their Project Manager no less that ***** looking for a start date and the response has been the same, "I've heard nothing about start dates from his office". I sent them an email on 1/24/24 looking for a resolution and there has been none to date. Project Mgr. ****************** shared that he is stuck because his office is not providing him any information and therefore he could not provide me an update or start date. Please note that I had to pay to remove my pool solar panels (early January) in preparation for repair and now my pool is in a stand-still. I shared in my email to NGC, that I was looking for a resolution to avoid filing a complaint but they have never responded or as stated above, initiated any response to my contact. Just today 2/6 text Project Mgr. A ******* again, and he confirmed his office has not provided any information. Any help resolving this situation will be appreciated. Please let me know if you need any further information.
