This company sent me an email about paying for a TSA precheck review. I thought it was an official email regarding a TSA precheck appt that I have today. I will own that I should have read the email more closely. I realized my error within in minutes of submitting the payment. I called my credit card and paypal and placed a dispute request. I also attempted to contact the company by phone and email. On the phone, every option you choose results in a hangup/lost call. So you cannot reach someone by phone. I emailed them, calling this a scam and requesting a refund. They responded with what looks like a premade email that says they are legitimate but did not offer to refund my money. They say I will be contacted which I doubt will happen. They haven't had time to provide a service for me, therefore, there is no reason a legitimate company shouldn't be willing to provide a refund.Business response

Fraudulent website posing as a government agency. Renew my Global Entry certificate and was charged $231.81 on my credit card. I tried calling the listed number on their website (407) 641-3729 and get immediately disconnected regardless of which option was selected. I have no way to cancel and obtain a total refund.Business response

I went to the TSA PreCheck site to enroll in TSA PreCheck. The site is a replica of the TSA PreCheck site. It charged me $160 to setup a bogus appointment. I went to TSA PreCheck enrollment center at Staples, 1626 West Orange Blossom Trl, Apopka, FL. They did not have an appointment scheduled for me and said the site was a fraud. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the transaction. The transaction was processed out of Brazil.Business response

Went to renew my global entry application online. Was taken to this bogus website that looked like the official Homeland Security site. They took my personal information and charged me $280 bucks for nothing. This is obviously a scam website used to trick people like me into thinking they are at an official government website. on 3.20.23 I tried to apply for a TSA precheck and this company: Global Traveler, came up with the description that matched the Governments site. Once I completed the application and submitted my credit card information I was not sent anything confirming my transaction. When i investigated further the phone number didn't work, it disconnects when you press the buttons, and I gave them my credit card informationl. They are double the TSA charge and not prioviding any further help.Business response

I was mislead by this site that they were part of the TSA, which they are not. I didn't realize they aren't part of the TSA until there was an issue with my Known Traveler Number. When I went to their site to try to retrieve my number, it was at that time I realized that it was a company and not part of the TSA. I asked for a refund since they couldn't process my renewal but they stopped responding. I tried calling the number but it disconnects no matter what number you press to connect to someone. I am very concerned that I have now shared my PII (passport number) with a fraudulent organization and will have to deal with identity theft in addition to the loss of the money.Business response
