On June ******* I bought a 2017 **** A3 from Latino's Motor of Orlando along with a warranty from Proguard for $4,295. I faxed and mailed in my cancellation notice for this warranty to Proguard on July *******. I was within my 60 day cancellation period and did not have any claims, I am requesting a full refund. I called to confirm Proguard received my written and faxed request. On July 29, 2024, ****** from Proguard ********************* stated she received it and explained that the dealer has to initiate the cancellation through the dealer portal. On Aug ****** I spoke to ******** at Latino's and he said he does not have to start the process. I tried explaining the process that ****** told me but he was so rude and yelling so loud and would not let me speak. He finally said he will call me back later that day but he did not. When i call they will not answer my call ( caller ID). I used a different phone number and they answered and i was told by a woman he would call me back. He never called and now when i call from another number they answer and hang up on me. Finally, on Aug 13 I was able to speak to ******, the manager, he promised me he would look into it and call me back that day but he didn't. I was able to get through to another woman on Aug 16 who said she will give ****** and ******** a message to call me. On Aug 20, I called 5 times and they will not answer the phone. ****** from Proguard mailed Latino's a information sheet to initiate the cancellation on their side on Aug 15. She also sent a check for $1.642.45 to the lien holder, Adventhealth credit union and cancelled on her side. I am requesting from Latino's to cancel and refund the $2652.55 and mail check to Adventhealth credit union. I have my service contract and written cancellation notice but unable to upload at this time. Also, the phone number on line for Latino's does not work. The # is ************ Thank you for your assistance! **** ****Initial Complaint

Latino motors of Orlando let me pay $2000 for a car and sign paperwork before the bank approved me. I did not take the car home because the insurance company was closed, I called the dealership and told them I no longer want the car and informed them that the bank sent me an email saying they didnt approve me. The dealership will not communicate with me properly or give me my money back. Others has also said that the same dealership did them the same way.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2017 ******* Sonata from Latinos motors of orlando in August of 2022. I made a $10000 down payment on the car and financed the rest through the company. When the deal was being made I was told if I pay the remaining balance within a year I would be exempted from the interest it would acquire if I paid over the 24 month term. August of 2023 o contacted them to pay the remaining balance, they kept telling me they would call back for pay off and that lasted a month. In September they said my payment was late and charged me a late fee despite my efforts to pay week after week. ****** the owner gave me a pay off price of $8000 which was more than I owed and demanded that it be cash or ***** saying he will not take credit. As such I opted to pay it monthly until January I tried to pay the balance again. This time I only owed 4750. Mind you my contract was a simple interest agreement but I was forced to pay the interest for the coming months. January they kept telling me they will call back until February then told me in February that my payment was late then told me they wont take payment over the phone. I had to drive 6 hours to them only for them to force me to pay 1800 extra a total of 6500 to close my account with them. They stated that the extra was sales tax but that was already included in the $24275 total payment I had to pay them. I asked for a itemized payment receipt and they refused to provide that to me. This is robbery and no one cares. I was cheated by this company they broke their contract and just made up prices. I would like my money back. Im prepared to provide all statements and evidence I gathered.Initial Complaint

*********************** My wife and I purchased a 2006 ***** Ridgeline from them, we traded in our truck and received a poor trade in value not to mention the price advertised was a cash price. But since the ***** was newer with low mileage my wife and I had no regrets. We took the truck to our local ***** dealer on October 6, 2023, only to find out the car had a major serious recall in which the fuel tank would fall off. We spoke to ******** ***** and according to them, the vehicle should not have been on the lot for resale. The vehicle was declared unsafe according to the ****************************** and unsafe to be on the road. We were instructed by ***** to surrender the vehicle to the local ***** dealership in which we did. We reached out to this dealership and spoke to *** and ******* who doubted our concerns. They doubted what ***** had to say and claimed that the ***** dealership was going to resell the vehicle even though we provided documents. We spoke to the new management since our previous contacts were no longer employed and were told to meet up with them on Saturday mind you we live 2 hours away. My wife and I drove up there only to find out the person did not show up nor did anyone have any clue about our matter. Mind you we texted them the night before to confirm our appointment. The dealership told us we would be contacted on Monday and here we Wednesday November 29, 2023 and have yet to hear from anybody! Mind you we have been paying the finance company for a truck we do not have and lost out on our other truck! They are affiliated with several other dealerships so look them up on ******* Sunbiz and the BBB before any purchase my advise KEEP AWAY!!Initial Complaint

On July 11th, 2023, I visited Latino's Motor of Orlando and dealt with Maria E******, a car saleswoman, to buy a truck. During our initial interaction, Maria E****** asked for a $5,000 payment to hold the truck due to the dealership's imminent closure, leaving little time to complete the purchase. Unfortunately, I only had $3,000 at the time, so I gave her that amount and promised to pay the remaining $2,000 the next day to finalize the transaction. To my surprise, Maria falsely claimed that the $3,000 I gave her was a down payment and increased the price from $5,000 to an excessive $8,000. When I reminded her of our original agreement, she refused to refund my $3,000, citing company policy. Additionally, both Maria E****** and manager Carlos A******* resorted to intimidation calls and threats, stating that my concerns would be ignored, and no refunds would be given. This series of events has shattered my trust in Latino's Motor of Orlando. I demand an immediate refund of my $3,000. Failure to comply will result in legal action and publicizing my experience on social media to warn others about the dealership's deceitful practices. Latino's Motor of Orlando's dishonesty, deceptive tactics, and unethical behavior, including the threatening calls initiated by the manager Carlos A*******, are deeply concerning. I am determined to hold Latino's Motor of Orlando accountable for its dishonest practices and invite others in Florida who have been scammed by them to join me in a collective lawsuit. Together, we can seek justice and put an end to their unethical conduct. This is my final attempt to resolve the matter amicably before taking legal action. I expect a response within 72 hours. Failure to comply will result in necessary legal measures and reporting the experience to consumer protection agencies and social media platforms. I trust that they will refund my money to rectify the situation. I await their response before proceeding with legal action.Business response

Hi in response to this there is no maria that works here so as this complaint stands there is basis on top of that we did not sell or take a down payment from this costumer and this costumer is tarnishing our name and reputation. On top of that if a costumer decides to leave a non refundable deposit and we take the car off of the market for the costumer then of course the down payment is not refundable since we did take the vehicle off of the market loosing potential sales. It also seems that this costumer could have miss heard the information since she could not remember the sales persons name if it was even this dealer because this person never left a deposit.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle over a month ago giving a car as a trade-in that owed money to the bank. Latinos motors of Orlando were supposed to give the payoff to **** credit for the vehicle that I traded in. It's been over a month and now my credit is affected because the payment is over 30 days late. When I asked the finance manager Junior about the payoff he told me to go f myself you effing b. Then he proceeded to mention that I still owe $200 for pick up payment of the down payment I replied back that he owes $10,000 for the vehicle that I traded in and that he sold without paying it off. I would like to know the legality of that dealership selling a vehicle before paying it off to the original creditor. Because now **** credit wants to repossess that vehicle that they already sold. I need some type of guidance on this situation. I've never dealt with this before but this is bad business.Business response

SHE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE DEAL WHICH SHE WASNT. SHE CALLED HANGING UP THE PHONE ON US AND SWEARING. WE DO NOT TOLERATE THAT AND PAYOFF WAS PAID ALREADY.
