      This company managed our condo in ******* commencing in October 2022. They suddenly closed their office around May 2023, at which date they owed me for rent collected from tenants $3,584.35.They have failed to answer phone calls or emails since that date.Note This condo and the management agreemenent is jointly with my wife, ***********************************We are presently in ****** until early ****.

      We have owned a condo in Orlando for 33 years and reside there part time. The rest of the time we rent it our. When our old property manager retired we signed on with Ventura Resort rentals - they are frauds! Rented out and have failed to pass on rents collected. We ended our business relationship on May 26th, 2023 and have tried for two months to get a response. They owe us over $1300.00 (including money of ours that they kept "in reserve") They should be banned from operating in Florida. I am 69 and have worked hard to have this place for retirement (which requires trying to cover some cost through rentals) Why are they allowed to bilk seniors? I'm told (now) by others that they have done this before. HELP! my wife and I just want to get paid what we are owed!!!

      The date of the Transaction was July 4th, 2022 and it was for stay between August 2nd - 14th, 2022. My confirmation # was*****. I contacted the resort on July 28th, 2022 to advise that we were unable to make the trip due to my son contracting covid and I wanted to change the dates to April 2nd - 9th, 2022 and lose a week in the process. They informed me that they could change it and just need to contact the property manager. I informed that for health reasons I couldn't make it and sent a copy of my son's test in the Bahamas. They refused to change the dates as I was not seeking a refund. They were not cooperative at all and only said the property manager would not honor it even one of their agent said yes we could look at changing the dates. They did not even refund the cleaning fee or the damage fee even though I never stayed at the resort. This is poor service in my opinion as here at home resorts would honor a change, I do understand the refund policy but given the health situation, I expected them to be a little more understanding. I frequently visit Orlando area about twice per year.

      Rental of villa at******************** from August 24 to August 31. Ventura Resorts failed to provide check in details by check in time, they had sent to incorrect email address. Had to call them and even then the details to access the property were wrong. Property was in a poor state especially the pool. The pool was covered in algae and pool floor is severely damaged, to the point it may injure someone. A knife was found by my 8 year old daughter outside on a sun lounger with a tube of adhesive. No idea why. Even after the pool was "cleaned" it didn't look clean and spa tub was not cleaned at all. Two fire extinguishers are in the property and both are outside of their inspection dates. No care has been given to the property to maintain it or update it. I believe the property is unsafe and did not match the description provided. We paid over $2000 for a week's rental but had to leave after 1 night. We would have left earlier but had nowhere to go. We sourced another villa for the rest of our vacation as Ventura couldn't provide like for like. I would like a full refund and $500 compensation for the inconvenience and disruption to our vacation.

      Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2022/09/27) */ This complaint was settled with the guest directly. We refunded this reservation. We will not be giving the additional compensation. We provide a toll free number for our international travelers, we do not feel compensation is required to pay for his phone bill because he did not use the toll free number.
