A sales representative made a house call on November 17, 2022. A contract was signed that day for an impact window and installation and 50% deposit was paid at that time. The homeowner requested necessary documentation on the window for the homeowner to provide to the HOA. Window World did not respond. A few weeks later, the homeowner called Window World with no response. In late January 2023, Window World called to schedule installation for February 13th. Window World did not show for the installation. The homeowner made several calls to Window World about the no-show and was told that Window World would get back to us about it. The homeowner visited the local office of Window World the following week and was told that they were looking into it. Window World did not respond. The following week, the homeowner faxed Window World and visited their local office and was told they were looking into it. The following day, Window World called and scheduled installation for March 14th between 9 am and 11 am. Around 11:30 am that day, Window World called to say that the impact window was broken, and they would reorder and reschedule upon receipt of the window. At the end of April, Window World called to schedule installation for May 2nd between 9 am and 11 am. Window World did not show. The homeowner called and Window World and said it was scheduled for the following day. The following day, Window World called at 9:30 am to say the impact window was broken and they would have to reorder. May 3rd, the homeowner visited the local office of Window World and asked for return of the deposit. Window World said they would have someone contact us by the end of that week. Window World did not contact the homeowner to address our request for return of the deposit. The contract requires the homeowner to mediate in Orange County with a mediator chosen by Window World and paid by both parties. The homeowner is responsible for Window World's attorney fees.

Within 24 hours of first contact with Window World, a sales representative made a house call on November 17, 2022. A contract was signed that day for an impact window and installation and 50% deposit was paid at that time. That same day, after the meeting, the homeowner prepared an HOA application and sent it with attachments to Window World with a request to provide necessary documentation on the window for the homeowner to provide to the HOA. Window World did not respond. A few weeks later, the homeowner called Window World and John Wiles promised to provide the necessary documentation. Window World failed to do so. In late January 2023, Window World called to schedule installation for February 13th, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Window World did not show for the installation. The homeowner made several calls to Window World about the no-show and was told that Window World would get back to us about it. The homeowner visited the local office of Window World the following week and was told that they were looking into it. Window World did not respond. Window World did not contact the homeowner to address our request for return of the deposit. June 19th Window World called and scheduled the installation for the following afternoon. For the first time, a crew appeared at 1 pm, but saw that the window was too high for them to reach. Window World knew from the beginning that that the window was high. On June 27, 2023, Window World appeared and installed the window and wanted payment of the remaining balance but agreed to wait until the work passed inspection. After inspection, Window World come on July 7th to finish the installation but was unable to complete the installation. Window World appeared on July 28th to complete the installation and removed the tags from the window but refused to clean the adhesive from the tag or the black marks on the inside wall next to the window. Window World took the position that federal law prohibited them from cleaning the adhesive residue off the window and repairing the wall next to the window. We have checked and there is no federal law prohibiting Window World from completing the installation.

Worst service I have ever had. Three failed installs. Two failed county inspections. Broken windows delivered and installed. Months in between service calls. Unresponsive Install Mgr and President. Window World Corporate does not stand behind franchises. Charged my credit card for thousand’s BEFORE county inspection. Still have holes in door jam. No show appointments after waiting in four hour increments. Don’t know how they stay in business.

I have dealt with a lot of companies in the past and never had any problem, window world locations in Orlando and Melbourne is the worst company that ever existed, buyers BEWARE doing business with that company,it's been my worse nightmare, im on month 10. They have my money and no windows,2 installation attempts and both times they brought the wrong windows. All 10 of them were the wrong size ,as far as calling them you get nowhere, nobody calls you back and when they do nothing happens,I'm at the end of my patience with them, never in my life have experience such an incompetence and dysfunctional company, Stay far far away from Window World!
