When first purchasing my home I was recommended to them by my Lender. I was connected with ************************* who offered a deal of a one time fee for current and all future services. The initial insurance search was somewhat good, but I didnt like how he seemed to rush the process. The following year when emailing to renew/research for home and auto insurance he stated it was too soon. When the time came to review I was connected to a different associate who tried to have me pay again. After contacting him with the issue, he apologized stating his associate wasnt aware of the sign on deal. I switched my home/auto insurances at the end of last year 2023 and was assured theyd take care of the cancellations for the existing policies. A couple weeks later I received a letter for renewal of my old auto insurance and learned they did not cancel my policy, with additional charges for $152. Fast forward February of **** I received a charge on my banking statement for the new auto insurance of $180. When contacting Goosehead I was told it was for never signing up for the safe driving app. I explained to the rep I never received information on my auto policy nor how to register for safe driving. Once the rep contacted the auto insurance I suddenly received multiple emails with my auto policy (wrong address), how to sign up for safe driving, and notified Id receive a refund of $150. The most recent issue was receiving a cancellation notice of being dropped from my home insurance stating my home was vacant/abandoned. After contacting Goosehead and investigating the home insurance had a third company party do a visit to survey my home (no appointment scheduled). They stated it looked vacant due to not having blinds/furniture from a window they looked through. After reviewing the images sent, the surveyor was looking through my garage window! I blame Goosehead Insurance for poor due diligence, and representing sorry insurance companies. I do not recommend using their services!
