  I would like to start off by saying that it hurts to the core having to resort to this. However, Price Family Homes is the worst builder to do business with. We purchased a new build house back in 2022. Over time, weve noticed that they took a lot of shortcuts with the construction, and its starting to surface. Just recently we found a leak in the house. An inspector came out and informed us that there was a small crack in a plumbing that most likely occurred during the installation period. The inspector informed us that the leak was so small it did not register on the water meter. For this reason, the leaked stayed confined behind the walls, until just recently. It caused extensive damage to multiple rooms that shared the same wall space. The inspector confirmed the presence of black mold along with severe wood deterioration. We reached out to Price Family homes and explained the situation. The only response we received was a text message from ******** letting us know that she was too busy to properly address our concerns. She informed us that because we fell a few months past our two-year warranty, they cant do anything about it. I tried to explain through text that the issue has been ongoing for well over a year, which would technically fall within the timeframe. They have yet to contact us about the incident. Price family home has horrible customer service and they dont seem to care to address their shortfall. At this rate they should change their name to Price Homes because they dont make you feel like youre apart of a family. I am a huge supporter of local business, but they have left a sour taste that will be everlasting. I encourage everyone that has purchased a house from price to have it tested for moisture in the walls. Price does not have any sympathy for their clients and they have proven on multiple occasion that they dont care about customer well-being. I will never purchase a home built by price, nor would I recommend them in the future.

  However, we would like to clarify the facts:
  This homeowner first contacted us on February 10, 2025, regarding an issue they believe originated from construction. This was over two years after their home purchase in 2022 and nine months past the expiration of their two-year warranty.
  Prior to this, we had never received a report of a leak or any issue related to plumbing from this homeowner. Had we been made aware of the issue within the warranty period, we would have addressed it in accordance with our standard warranty process.
  While the homeowner has referenced an inspectors report, we have not been provided with any official documentation, photos, or reports to substantiate these claims.
  The homeowners first message to us was accusatory, and though we responded to clarify the warranty terms, they proceeded to leave negative reviews before allowing any further discussion.
  Prolonged leaks, mold, and resulting damage are typically a homeowner maintenance issue, as home warranties do not cover damages that arise due to undiscovered or unreported long-term leaks. We strongly recommend that the homeowner consult their homeowners insurance, as they are best equipped to provide coverage for these types of situations.
  Our team is committed to transparency and fairness, and we stand behind our warranty policies. While we understand this homeowner's frustration, we cannot extend warranty coverage indefinitely or assume liability for issues that arise well beyond the warranty period. We encourage the homeowner to work with their insurance provider to address any necessary repairs.
