My boyfriend and I purchased a king ******* set in cash around July 4 weekend. We didnt need the mattress because we purchased one from Amazon. We spent over 1400 on this ******* set forgot to buy a box spring. So we came back the next day and a sales person helped us buy a box spring. He pulled it up on the computer and quoted us ******. We paid the 199 and put it on the same delivery for the ******* set. When the set arrived at our home the movers informed us that we needed to buy 2 box spring because we have a king **** When I spoke to the manager he stated we would have the pay ANOTHER 199 because his sales person is new. The manager was extremely rude and unsympathetic and told me the only way to fix the situation was to give them another $200. I will never give them any more business and I will make sure no friends or family does business with *******Review from Sue D

The *************** location and the customer service is the worst I have ever done business with.I returned a recliner because it was so uncomfortable . In order to return something you need to call customer service. I called them at least 3-4 times and each time I was put on hold, once for 30 minutes then they hung up. Each time was the same deal.When they finally picked up the return, I waited all day instead of a 3-4 hour window. Today in checking my credit card for a credit they did not refund the correct amount.On the phone again. Of course they made no mention of what they wouldnt give me credit for.AWFUL experience.I would never recommend them and will certainly tell people what I went through.Review from Jackie O

Bad business purchase a Amana washer complain 2 days later about the washer spinning to loud they said since it was the holidays I had to wait now there saying I waited to long to reported and they can't exchange it purchase warranty and still won't come out to look at it this store done lost business with me I won't never buy from them again everBadcock Home Furniture & More of South Florida Response

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and although our warranties do have rules and guidelines to qualify for replacement or credit, we always offer something to our valued customers if they are denied for any warranty claim. I purchased my children a futon bed from them in April, an not even a week later screws were coming out pieces are falling off. I will never order from them again!! Not to mention it's october now an the bed is pealing on the sides where I find loads of bed bugs inside!!! I am beyond ****** money down the drain!!!! Badcock Furniture apologizes for any inconvenience. Although we are not aware of this customers complaint, all of our furniture comes with a 12 month manufacturer guarantee so if there are issues with loose screws the customer can contact our customer service department at ************** and we can set up a service call to address the issue. As for the infestation, unfortunately bed bugs come from outside and go onto the furniture so just finding them months later doesn't mean they came from the furniture on delivery which would be noticed immediately. We take many steps and put forth a maximum effort to make sure all of our facilities are monitored closely for any and all pest control issues and we can confidently deny the issue came from our furniture on delivery.Review from SAFFRON G

This is specific to the location at **** * ******* ****, Plantation FL *****-Manager BOB This location has unsavory business practices and harasses customers once a payment is late or behind. Never on a credit card interest applicable account have I had any company send a representative to my home weekly to demand money. A credit system implies standard penalties/fees etc. The representative sent consistently to my home has a history of ****** ********** against myself which has been documented and reported to ****** ** ***** Badcock corporate and as such all correspondence/transactions have gone through this individual. The store persisted to send the same representative despite warnings and the obvious harassment-3-4 times a week at my doorstep. Last month Ft. Lauderdale police came to my home after the representative accused me of threatening him (post his banging down my door high and stink of marijuana and threatening to get his taser on me). The officers advised me they found the behavior odd and the business practice of sending a representative to my home unsafe and for me to not only NOT open the door any further as this needed to be handled by Corporate-a message also told to the store manager BOB-they advised me to call them if they come to my home again or my local Plantation police department with case# provided. The representatives have came to my home 4 times since this incident and I will be pursuing all legal avenues including the ********** charges. I do not recommend this location to Anyone Especially to WOMEN because you will not be protected, the management and staff are utterly incompetent and tolerable to high risk drug abusing employees.Badcock Home Furniture & More of South Florida Response

In response to the Customer Complaint, I have reviewed it thoroughly and interviewed all parties involved. About half of what the Customer has alleged is accurate and the other half has been spun in order to make her not look as much a part of the problem as she has been. When I first spoke to this customer in March, she was having the same problem in that her account was quite past due and personnel from the credit department had come to her home to see what the problem was. She called the Corporate office then and we got her back on track and brought her account current. She then paid April, albeit late. Then she failed to pay or return phone calls from the Corporate office in May, June & July, leaving the Company no choice but to visit and see if something was wrong. The claim of marijuana and ****** ********** are totally fabricated, as the gentleman who went to her house works a second job at UPS and gets drug tested regularly as he does at Badcock. These fabrications were all to deflect from the fact of the Complainant's past due account. She was actually the one using foul language in telling the Badcock rep to get off her property when he was trying to help her professionally get and keep her account current. As a courtesy, to resolve this, if Complainant will call me, I will stop the interest/finance charges on her account and if she makes 3 prompt payments in a row, erase the past due amount to help with her credit. HUGHESNET!! UGH! The absolute most horrible word one could use! They are despicable! We have called over and over and told them we have our WiFi turned off of our 2 iPhones and iPads and computers and are just trying to stream a ballgame on one tv. They don’t know how to make it better nor will they let us switch companies without giving them approx $400.00! We said so we have had this service since the 1st of March and have made numerous calls telling you our service isn’t working but IF we drop you, we still have to pay all that money??? They said yes! It is in the contract that we have to pay off our equipment!!! We will gladly send everything back to them because it isn’t doing us any good!!!! PLEASE help ppl like us be able to get out of their sorry contract by sending back the equipment!!! PLEASE HELP!!! We can’t afford our monthly bill nor pay off the equipment! We would gladly pay for service IF we had any service!!! We told them we have a baseball team we like to follow and can’t stream it because it pauses every minute of the game!!!Review from Michael J

I have filed a general complaint for the incompetence of a badcock driver that caused damaged to my property while delivering furniture to my neighbors home. I left while they were on the driveway unloading and when I came back I found that my front yard was driven over by your driver. Broke sprinkler heads causing a flood, just missed an underground basin I had installed weeks prior and damaging my lawn and boulders out front. I have submitted pictures providing the damages but never not even a phone call back. Very disrespectful. Cant even imagine what damages you cause actually working in someones home. Im a local contractor and I would feel embarrassed and feel I would have to do everything or anything to make this right.Review from Sonya N

BEWARE OF BUYING FROM THEM I HAD MY BEDROOM SET FOR A LIL UNDER A MONTH AND A PANEL WAS COMING A LOOSE OFF OF MY CHEST I CALLED FOR SOMEONE TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT FOR REPAIR THE GUY CAME OUT MADE MATTERS WORST PUT PAINT ON A AREA THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG AT THIS SET WAS ******* DOLLARS I WAS TOLD ITS NOTHING THEY COULD DO EVEN THO HE MADE MATTERS WORST THATS HORRIBLE SO IM STUCK WITH PAYING FOR A DAMAGED CHEST BADCOCK IS A RIP OFF WITH TO MANY FINE PRINTS I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM EVEN WHEN U TAKE OUT WARRANTYS IT STILL A EXCUSE TO WHY ITS NOT COVERED BEWARE BUYERS GO SOME WHERE ELSE THEY WILL NEVER FIX ANYTHING THAT NEEDS REPAIRS!!Badcock Home Furniture & More of South Florida Response

We have reviewed the service call and we have to apologize for the error on our part. Badcock stands behind all of our items and guaranties and we strive for excellent service. In this case we misdiagnosed the issue to be physical damage caused by outside sources which is not covered under any warranty and because we try to help all of our customers we made the 1/2 credit offer to help them replace the damaged item. After further review we determined that the damage to this chest was infarct a defect covered under our 12 month manufacturer guaranty and not abuse and although we reserve the right to repair defects if possible, the repair done to this item does not stand up to our expectations. We will have someone contact you as soon as possible to schedule a no charge exchange to deliver a new chest. We hope you can forgive the error and we will use this for an internal review to help avoid these errors in the future. I had a delivery on Saturday May27, 2023. And have a little problem with the dining room set I ordered, and a bed I ordered. I called Badcock and they I had me to call customer service. The problem is I been calling two days. Saturday and today Tuesday. Monday they was close. The problem I cant get through. They only let you wait on the line for about 5 minutes then they hang up and you start it all over again. Think Im out of luck, because I payed cash.so I called the store. They put me back on the line with customer service, same thing. They dont care its not they problem anymore. I have learned my ****** badcock. I will spend my money elsewhere.
