    I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Cowhides Direct. The rug is even better than I expected—soft, stunning in design, and a perfect addition to my living room. Customer service was top-notch, and the delivery was fast. I highly recommend them!

    I ordered two Brazilian cowhide rugs and one South American cowhide rug from Cowhides Direct, and I couldnt be happier with my purchase. The quality of the hides is amazing - soft, thick, and flat without curling at the edges. Each rug had its unique pattern and color, just like the pictures on their website. I was especially impressed by how well the stitching was done and how clean the hides looked right out of the box. Shipping was fast too, I received everything in less than a week, and the rugs were packaged carefully to avoid damage. These rugs added a perfect rustic touch to my living room and bedroom. I would recommend Cowhides Direct if you're looking for real, high-quality cowhide rugs.

    The price seems reasonable, until you are hit with the separate duty fees they don't disclose.The quality of the merchandise is "seconds". Additionally, the product I ordered was not the product that was delivered, and although they agreed, they expected me to pay for the return shipping for their mistake.

    Regarding the return process, our intention was never to have you incur additional shipping expenses. As indicated in our email correspondence, we offered to cover the cost of returning or exchanging the item, given that the mistake originated on our end.
    We also understand your concern about potential duties or fees when ordering from ******. Unfortunately, such charges are determined by customs authorities and are not within our control. We strive to be transparent about possible additional costs, and we apologize if there was any confusion regarding these fees.


    When you requested a full refund without returning the rug, we had to decline because it would mean providing the product at no chargea solution that was not feasible for our business.  We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and truly apologize for any inconvenience.     Paid nearly $7,000 for 2 cowhide wingback chairs. Cowhides Direct takes payment immediately, then you wait - in this case 9 weeks. Shipment arrived today via local freight on a severely damaged pallet - legs on both chairs broken and guy dragged the pallet across my driveway, even leaving scratches on my concrete. Delivery guy told my wife unless she had tape to tape up boxes then she could not inspect them. I saw all the damage when I got home - called Cowhides Direct. They started talking about insurance and said nothing about getting me my refund or picking up their damaged chairs, now tying up my parking space in my garage. I will never, EVER, do business with this company again. The chairs were not packaged properly and the legs went right thru the pallet and were sitting on the ground when I got home. After spending almost $7,000 and waiting 9 weeks for a "custom chair", this is an absolute joke. They never sent any pictures of the chairs prior like they said they would.

    I bought a large cow hide Tricolor XX-Large European Cowhide Rug 8'5"H x 7'0"W #B6164 by ****** Hides and have nothing but problems with it. I steamed it, hung it in a humid area such as bathroom, rolled it the opposite way, folded it where the creases were the opposite way. It will not lay flat and customer services was awful for follow up and assistance even after all the attempts and wasted time trying to fice the issue. I would never order from them and oddly enough they have rave reviews for their hides on their website and my cowhide WILL not lay flat anywhere. It wrinkles up everwhere and people have tripped on it and customer service was rude the last call placed to them

    We ordered a cowhide from cowhide direct and it came in with spots the size of baseballs where the hair was missing. We contacted them and they said no problem will take it back. The problem is we paid $212.00 and they only credited us $151.00.When you try to go to their website to leave a review, you can only read reviews you cant leave one.

    The rug arrived just two days later, and it is of exceptional quality. Having done business with Cowhides Direct multiple times in the past, I can confidently say that my experience has always been stellar. I cannot praise this store enough for their commitment to providing high-quality products and excellent service. They are knowledgeable without a hint of pushy sales. I don't see buying a rug from another place again.

    I gave 2 stars because customer service was quick to respond. I understand this is an animal hide and there will be imperfections, however these are bad with alot of bluing showing through the ends and middle of the rug and sereral scratch marks with bluing where there is no hair at all. It's on both ends and in the middle of the rug so there's no hiding it.The marks were not there when i opened the box the first time. I put the rug away until i was ***** to use it and when i took it out the marks were there.
