We purchased our system in early 2019. He had us come to his home, where he sold us the system on a 57 month plan at 75 dollars a month. There was no test of our water at that time. He told us he would come to our home once a year to change filters for over 200 dollars. We are senior citizens and trusted what he told us although felt is was very high. We almost immediately noticed our dishes were not cleaning from the dishwasher and the refrigerator began to make strange sounds, Filters were changed with no success. We had to have work done on the water heater (this was a new home). We had someone come and test our water and found it to have extremely high levels of alkalinity, sulphur, TDS, and hard water even though we were changing salt in the softener every other month. We attempted to cancel this softener but were told by the ;'finance company' he used for us that we had to complete paying in full plus also pay for the softener when we were done with the monthly plan cost. We were advised not to drink the water or use it at this time until we can get it replaced. We cannot afford to pay for this faulty system, and purchase another system. My husband and I have health problems and it is affecting our health now as well. We have written proof that we have the wrong system in our home and that it is not working now. ***** works out of his home and we do not know what to do as this will be a costly replacement of appliances and he will not be of help without more $$$$$.
