    On 2/28/2018 a new air conditioning unit was installed. When that unit was installed, we were told to communicate via text/cell if there were any issues. The first issue presented very quickly, the A/C unit would not cool below a certain temperature. When the technician came out he apologized for not responding so many times and advised that he was busy. We were told that we weren't using the thermostat correctly. We continued to have issues with, what was believed to be a thermostat issue at the time. Within the fist 6 months to a year, Kody came and added Freon at least 2-3 times, which to my understanding would be inconsistent with a thermostat issue. As winter approached, we did not have these issues because we were not using the unit to drop below a certain temperature. We have reached out multiple times since the installation of this unit as summer months our home gets very hot and has never been able to cool below a certain temperature consistently. Each summer we get told the issue is something new and are now being asked to pay $600 for a test to determine what the issue is. The contract references anything within a year is covered and after that, there is a warranty on parts. As we have been communicating since the very beginning of installation that the unit has never operated correctly, we feel that we should not be paying for a test to determine what the issue is now that it has taken them such a long time to suggest the test. We should not be penalized with a test fee for something the company failed to resolve within the one year all inclusive warranty period. We are asking for the issue to be resolve, not temporarily fixed and not blamed on user error. To be clear, since 2018, the unit has never consistently cooled below 79-80 degrees.
