Customer purchased tires 3 years ago. He wanted to send them in for warranty. He has 7k miles left on the manufacturers warranty, not mine. That is about 10 percent left on the life of the tire. He could not prove that the tires were rotated consistently every 7500 miles or less (pg 7 of Toyo warranty attached). One of the tires had a plug/patch in it. Those two things void the manufacturers warranty. After that, the tread depth has to measure within 1/32nd across the entire tread. Since he was set on getting the money back for the remainder of the tire, I offered him $25 off each new tire he purchased as a courtesy, to assure him we cared about his concern. He decided to go somewhere else and purchase new tires. His rotation history, combined with the damage of one of the tires voids any mileage warranty on any manufacturers tire. The company that replaced his tires would be responsible for sending them in. He has given us bad reviews wherever he can.
