      I rented a golf cart from your 14932 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 location. I was told by the lot guy Bobby the price would be $200 out the door, when I came the next morning to pick it up Rosa was there in the morning asked me what the price was I said $200 not knowing that it should have been $150 then the added fees would bring it $200. I brought this up with Bobby when the receipt was brought out and he said they would fix it in the morning when I returned it. When I brought it back everyone it telling me they can't refund and they have talked to the manager who has said to explain everything to Colleen the owner. When we called Colleen she said that the employees are not allowed to change the price. We went and talked to another store and found Rosa and she told us yes Bobby sets the price during negotiation and tells her the price. Hopefully this explains everything and we can resolve this. We were overcharged $52.60.

      The customer already provided the documentation, showing that they signed for the vehicle for that. And yes, we don't tell them the taxes out front in the prices different. If you pay cash versus credit card, they are told that up front. They sign a contract, a sign of credit card receipt. They provided the documents for the contract that they signed. They decided to complain a day after they took the vehicle. They are not getting a refund. Saber never told they were getting everything on that never happened.

      I was completely respectful to your employees, you choose to operate in a dishonest way with your customers that’s why your rating are so bad. I’m ok not getting my $52 back I’ve warned others of your shady business ways. I’m glad that’s all you got from me. I’m not the only one complaining about how your run your business. In fact that’s how I got so much information because they are powerless to do anything and telling to reach out to the owner which I did. I’m open to another call but I’m sure it will lead to nowhere since you will just say they were not allowed to do something they clearly did.

      On Sep 26-23, my wife and I rented a golf cart from Outlaw Rentals d/b/a California Cycles. Invoice number 59597 and returned it on Sep 27-23 at 10 AM. They took pictures of the golf cart tires before we drove off and they made sure to tell us that they use an app to take pictures of the golf cart and we don't need to take pics as I was getting ready to take them. When we returned the Golf carts on Sep 27-23 at 10 AM. They immediately said we damaged both tire rims. I was shocked at this claim as I'm an extremely cautious driver and we did not hit anything. we even parked in on their lot overnight with their permission. The damage to the the rims look like they have been scratched up in the past and look very old. I even showed them the rust on the rear tire trim [Evidence pic #2]. When I told them there was rust on the rear tire they changed their tune and said the damage was to the front tire [Evidence pic #1]. Notice there are no scrapes on the sides of the golf cart. They wouldn't talk to us and just went into their office. The manager came out and just provided me an invoice for $190, said we were forfeiting the security deposit and if we didn't pay the $90 a collection agency would be after us. Evidence 2 - Receipts of rental Evidence 3 - Invoice for rim repair. They texted me a copy of only the front rip purported damage [Evidence pic #3]. Notice it's out of focus , very low resolution and is clearly doctored/edited. We asked for the original picture several times and they refused to provide it to us. I asked them what app they are using and they wouldn't answer us. Furthermore, we also had a $25.00 physical damage coverage [Evidence invoice 1] and they still falsely took our deposit. The manager mocked my wife by saying he goes to court everyday to handle these damage cases everyday and it's illegal in the state of Florida to reverse credit card charges. We wish we had looked up BBB reviews of them before we rented from this business.

      The in accuracy of this complaint is shockling.  Customer was spoken to and explained about the damages on the day of return. Customer was upset and Store Manager called the General Manager to the property to inspect and confirm that damage did occur while was in customer possession. After reviewing store photos from before and return it was clear that the customer had damaged the rims. Customer was shown and spoken to by general manager.  Customer then wanted to cuss and argue about it at which we ended the conversation and parted ways.  PDC coverage has a deductible of $5,000.00 for golf cart. As damages did not occur over that amount so customer would be reasonable for anything less then $5,000.00 as states in contract signed by customer.  As for refund this is not option nor will be a option.  Customer has also been spoken to via telephone as well in this matter.  In short customer has taken legal responsibility when they signed the contract an there was no damage to the items in question until they returned at which they are responsible for.

      The pictures they provided are altered and very low resolution! They refused to provide a copy of the original picture with the original time stamp. The pictures we took show there was rust from previous damage.

      Looking at other reviewers on Yelp and other social media sites, they do this to several customers. I also found out they had a lawsuit against them in 2017 for doing this over the years to other customers.  It's too bad we wanted to rent for 3 more days and they lost more business. We are proceeding with other actions. The manager and others very rude to us!

      The pictures are not altered and we have a theft sheet signed the customer doesn't want to ne responsible the vehicle was a new vehicle we out into the fleet. He was provided pictures and theft sheet. He threatened me the only interaction I had with the gentleman. We are keeping the deposit for the damage he did to the vehicle.

      The pictures are VERY LOW RESOLUTION and ALTERED. You have pathetic editing skills!! You can't even read anything that you superimposed on the pictures. Very odd that my pictures taken show the same existing damage when we took the cart. Also, we did not cuss, we have a 6 year old around us and you clearly threated and scammed us. We felt very unsafe and left for our safety. Pathetic that you have a poor business model to scam tourists. Social media posts about what you have done to other people show that it's a continued thing you guys do. Weren't you sued a few years back for doing this and you are still doing this? 

      Please don't pretend that you are acting in good faith. You are scammers!!

      We came to California cycles, also known as Outlaws rentals on 5/20. We rented a slingshot which they did not inform us of the defects. They showed us the scratches on the rims but did not say the belt was damaged. Not even ten minutes later we were stranded on the side of the road. We called the shop for assistance and received no direction. We were able to get the car restarted and back to the shop. Upon return the owner was not helpful. She was rude and dismissive and now trying to give us a bill for their defective vehicle. They did not fulfill their contract. We paid for 24hrs to enjoy a nice ride on our birthday and instead received no assistance, no customer service and a defective vehicle. To take advantage of people trying to enjoy their birthday is the lowest of lows. The owner stated she was going to meet us 5/21 at 10am and didn’t even answer the phone. Sent a man we never seen to greet us with a bill. You cannot charge us for what we didn’t receive. They did not fulfill the contract. The salesman showed us the scratched up rims when they released the car to us and now the owner is trying to charge us for the same rims. The salesman said yes she is lying those rims were already damaged. So not only are you trying to keep our deposit but now trying to put a extra bill. The owner is a thief.

      This customer slammed the vehicle into something hard they bent the inside the rim, damaged the steering rack they also had a non license mechanic touch the vehicle and messed with the belt which the customer said they called we checked call log the only time they called was to inquire about the vehicle we had to wait for indian to open and get the vehicle in to properly diagnose what they did to the vehicle indians bill is enclosed. they did more damage then the rim we have provided the document of what the repair shop said needed to be fixed after the vehicle was inspected.       I am rejecting this response because: Colleen gave false statements. We signed paperwork saying the rims were already damaged. Attached. We didn’t slam into anything again the paperwork shows previous damage before we rented it. If we had slammed into something we wouldn’t have been able to drive it back to the store. We have several witnesses. No one modified the vehicle. Attached are photos of what a vehicle should look like and what they gave us that was defective. The left is the photo of what they rented to us. Colleen, Leo and her team put our lives in danger. This is how they make their money charging customers for damages they didn’t incur. You can look it up. Not only did outlaws not fulfill their contract but to lie on top it is despicable. We paid for 24hrs and the car stopped in the middle of the road in 10mins. We called the police as well as calling outlaws. Instead of apologizing for putting our lives in danger by putting a defective vehicle on the road and trying to help us, they’d rather lie to make a few dollars. Then to say give us a call. We gave you several calls. Colleen said she was going to meet us Sunday morning and instead ran up to outlaws Saturday night to steal our deposit slip and then made up a bill and sent some manager Sunday afternoon to meet us. James and Leo said yes the vehicle was already damaged and we should’ve had it in the garage instead of renting it. The manager said look I have cancer I can’t deal with this. This is what Colleen does to people every month and it is out of their hands. But they will tell her the truth and follow up. No one has followed up.

      I am requesting a refund of the deposit for a slingshot rental. We obeyed all agreed upon rules during rental time frame. Upon return we were accused of causing a small superficial scratch on the plastic gray bumper. We had no accidents and caused no injury to this said rental bumper. $390 of our $500 deposit was not returned to us stating damages, repair and parts. We additionally purchases a $25 insurance policy for any physical damage. There is no indication that we even caused said scratch and if this did occur during our time frame we bought the extra policy to cover nonsense. I have read reviews online and the pattern of this company taking advantage of tourists.

      I returned the Slingshot at the proper time. After turning the Slingshot I stood around for approximately 20 mins. No one said anything to me. The Slingshot was moved to the rear of the building. After a few more minutes I asked the what I assumed was the manager on duty what was happening and was I free  to go. He said give me a few minutes more because they were busy. After a few more minutes he said follow me let me show you something on the front passenger side bumper. He pointed to a small scratch on the bumper low by the ground. He did not seem too concerned about the issue. He told me that (I believe his name was James ) had to come look at the issue and make a determination. I ask when James would come by to look at the Slingshot and he said he was not for sure. I asked if he could call me after he looks at the Slingshot and he said yes and I gave him my number to call. I went about my day. Later in the day 230 or 300 still no call. I went back to the location where I rented the Slingshot and asked if James came by and was told yes here is a 390 bill for the damage (scratch). The credit card left for deposit was already charged. Remember still have not talked to anyone that made this decision. I asked to speak to James a the manager had a shocked look and said I asked he to contact you, he didn't? I told him that no one has tried to contact me. I tried to call a number and a lady said he would call me back I asked what James last name and number was and another lady in the background can be heard saying we don't give out that information. I said you can't give me his last name and that is when they hung up on me. The nice manager then gave me the location of the home office a few miles down the road. I went to that office again no one with decision making authority. That was the last time I had contact with anyone at Classy Cycle, Inc. until they sent the BBB a response. Please find attached additional documents that I have uploaded. Notice the Physical damage coverage.

      I really wish I had done my homework and looked at  the reviews before using the rental service. They seem to have a history of bad behavior. They seem to be a predatory business preying on out of town tourists that are trying to get away from everyday nonsense such as this.

      I rented an 8 person golf cart on Thursday June 30, It was a 24hr rental. At 8:46 pm while driving the golf cart it all of the sudden stopped moving and would no longer move when stepping on the gas petal. In the paper work from California Cycles it stated that if the golf cart broke down to call the number listed, which was a tow truck company and that they would come and pick up the golf cart and for us to call an Uber, Lyft or a taxi. We did not have to call anyone for a ride because the tow truck diver was nice enough to give me a ride to my condo which was 3 miles away and from there I got my vehicle and went back to where the golf cart broke down and picked up the remaining 6 people in my party. I went to California Cycles this morning hoping to be compensated for the time I was unable to use the golf cart and to get my deposit back. That did not happen when I got there I spoke with a woman that was not only very rude but she blamed the golf cart breaking down on me. She said it was something to do with the hub. I have driven golf carts for many years and I know how to properly drive a golf cart and I also know that damage to the hub is nothing that I did. When i went to Californina Cylcles it was 9 am Friday morning and I find it odd that they already knew what was wrong with the golf cart that early especially when the tow truck driver didnt even tow the cart to the same location that I rented the cart from. The lady at California Cycles basically told me that she had no way of refunding me any money and that I was lucky that I was getting my deposit back. I payed $405.00 for a golf cart for 24hrs and I was only able to use it for a little over 10hrs. I was treated very poorly and feel I was taken advantage of. I should be compensated for the time I was unable to use the cart. I also hope that I can prevent someone else from being taken advantage of by this company. Thank you for your time.

I'm sorry that some people may not take care of your rentals, but we are not those people and we are very upset that we were treated this way. We regret not looking at the reviews of your business before we rented a golf cart, because last night I was looking and saw this happens to so many people.       I rented a Polaris Slingshot for 24 hours. The vehicle was already damaged before it was ever taken off of the lot. The sound system was completely out on one side of the vehicle, the hood vibrated like it would fly up and strike me if it got to 45 mph. When I brought the vehicle back they claimed I scratched up the bumper. They showed a before picture as proof their vehicle was in perfect condition. The picture did not even show the area they claimed I damaged. They showed an after picture showing some scrape marks on the bottom of the bumper and claimed it had "fresh sand" on it. Under my care the vehicle never left the road, it never struck any object nor did it ever scrape on any object. They kept my $500 deposit to compensate for the damage they claim I caused but they don't even prove I caused it. They rented my a vehicle that was not as promised in the first place. If anyone deserves to be compensated it is me. I feel like I have been preyed on by this business because I live so far away it would be more of a hassle than it is worth to take them to small claims court. All I want is a refund of my $500 deposit that they have unrightfully withheld.

      In May of 2021 I went on vacation to Panama City beach like we do every year. May 25th I rented a dune buggy from California cycles- the specific location of 553 Richard Jackson blvd the shoppes of Ed water location. I rented this dune buggy and out down a 250$ deposit on a capital one credit card. The dune buggy had a lot of wear which was evident it was not smooth to drive. They inspect these before and after you leave and return it. When I returned it It was inspected by a worker they drive it around the parking lot and check other details and she thanked me and told me to have a good time and that my deposit would be returned on the card. A week later I called to check and they cussed me out and told me I broke it and it was going to cost a lot of money to get fixed. I contacted the owner and said they inspected it after my return and refunded my deposit. Now months later they are threatening me trying to make me pay them. I read reviews and they have done this ALOT to others.
