      Worst eye care experience EVER. 45-minute delay in getting seen from my scheduled appointment. No explanation. No apology. Saw a real doctor for less than five minutes. Paid in full on day of visit. Received an unexplained $35 bill a month later. Fraud seems common considering the other complaints here. Poor customer service is the norm. STAY AWAY from this rip off joint. GO elsewhere and save yourself money, time, and frustration.

      A 1.5 out if 5 rating in the Better Business Bureau says a lot. They are the worst. I waited two hours after my scheduled appointment time. I never saw a doctor. They over book. They didn't even follow up with me to see why I left. They have no concern for a patients time or care. I've waited up to 33 minutes in hold to speak to them and then was disconnected. A second call was disconnected after 22 min. After finally getting through I spoke to someone and explained my situation. I requested a call back from the manager. In over a week, Kathi the manager has failed to return my call. A totally mismanaged clinic.

      This is the worst company I have ever delt with customer service wise and office staff.I have been fight with this company for over a year over a bill they can't explain why I owe. I have been told that someone would contact me via phone or email for a year and have still yet to receive anything but a bill.STEER CLEAR!

      2:30 pm appointment, didn't leave until closer to 5:15 pm. The receptionists left before I did. So what was meant to be my hour/hour and a half break from work ended up being me having to call out for the rest of the day. The overbooking and unacceptable wait time is unprofessional, period. As is the fact that I was billed one expense the week after my appointment and then billed for ANOTHER expense 6 months later. The only thing keeping this review at 2 stars instead of 1 is my actual eye doctor. He was excellent and very attentive to my sight issues, as well as communicative about problems I could face in the future. Unfortunately, my attentive eye doctor isn't enough to make me want to stay with the Eye Center. Save your time, visit someone who will respect it.

      At the Hutchison location, I experienced insanely long wait times. I was there promptly for my appointment at 2:45 and was not seen for over an hour and a half! Two other patients who were before me had to leave their appointment because they did not expect to wait for over 1.5 hours. One patient chose to reschedule, the other is finding a new provider. The Eye Center is extremely understaffed. I even had an eye tech complain to me during the entire intake process that she understands why people are upset and reported that the staff feels the same. She said this business has gone corporate and does not listen to their employees. The doctor that I saw was excellent, and definitely knows his stuff, but the inexcusable wait time is why I will not be back. They do not respect our time.

      The absolute worst experience I have ever had with any healthcare provider. My eyes were examined in May and I ordered new glasses. I was told three to four weeks. Several weeks later, I called because I was still waiting for my glasses. I was told they were not there. I waited a couple of weeks and went to the office in Port. St. Joe where the examine was done. I was told that the person who ordered glasses there had been let go because they were closing the branch in July and the person filling in was trying to play catch. I was assured that my glasses would be in before the office closed in July. They did not come. I was then told they would come to the Panama City location and they would ship the glasses to me. Weeks went by and again, no glasses. I drove to the office only to be told that the glasses had actually never been ordered. So, I spent another two hours waiting to start all over. The glasses were again supposed to be mailed to me and they were not. My wife had to drive over and pick them up. Upon trying the glasses on, I knew there was a problem. I could not see out of the right lens. I drove back to the office yet again and was told they had filled the wrong prescription and would have to send the glasses back to the lab. This was the first of Sept. I was told three to four weeks. Nov. 1 we called and shockingly got to speak with an actual per who said my glasses weren't there, but they should be back in a couple of weeks because they were just sent off on Oct. 21st. So my glasses had sat in their office for seven weeks. I was billed for and paid for everything this "business" was supposed to provide and received nothing but wasted hours, gas, money, and frustration. I have give up. I'm tired of even thinking about this. Congratulations Eye Center! You got one over on me and fully ripped me off. I will never use this group again. Frankly, anyone would be better served to tape magnifying glasses to their heads then using this group for eye care.
