      This complaint is in regards to H&M Roadside LLC towing individual’s vehicles without clear signage present and price gouging their recovery fees. I visited the Pensacola Interstate Fair on 10/17 and parked in the very back of the ******* parking lot located at **** Mobile Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32526. I saw several others parking there and walking 5 minutes to the fairground so I parked there and checked for signs stating that you couldn’t park there for the fair or that you may be towed and I saw none so I assumed it was safe to park. My parking duration was during *******s normal business hours. Upon leaving the fair, I saw that my vehicle had been towed as well as three other groups returning to the parking lot the same time I was. We were all confused and searched a towing sign and found none. We all resorted to going into ******* and asking an employee who towed our cars. The employee directed us to the one towing sign on the property which was by the ******* entrance doors not facing the road. I called H&M Roadside LLC who said they had my vehicle and it would $230 cash. I walked to their office 0.3 miles away and saw they had a printed sign posted on their door saying that if you had been towed by ******* it was $230 cash only. This occurred on opening night of the fair. It is apparent that H&M Roadside LLC is good and ready for fair time to roll around so that they can make thousands of dollars towing vehicles from the ******* lot. They purposely do not have clear signage posted, they had their sign on their front door already made and ready for opening night of the fair, they towed my vehicle during normal ******* business hours and they accept only cash which likely indicates that they are not properly reporting this to the IRS either to avoid paying taxes or to avoid any suspicious profit influxes when the fair rolls around every year. There is no way it cost them $230 to tow my car 0.3 miles. This is price gouging. This company is guilty of UDAPs.
