This business committed to provide entertainment for a kids birthday party for a total of three hours. She request that I pay half of the total in advance which I sent to ***************************, the owner, va Zelle transfer (on 11/1/22) which is linked to the phone number I provided which totaled to $347.75. 7 days after I transferred toe money i called the company to confirm and she acted like she had no idea who I was and like I never sent the money. She then said she had no one available for my event and that she would try to find someone within two hours or she would return the deposit. 24 hours later she said she found someone that was only available for two hours and I sister that I transfer the rest of the money before the event. I asked her to adjust the quote since she charges hourly and was providing less time. She refused, called me yelling at me and disrespecting me and said she would not return the part-payment either. Since then she's said that she refuses to return my part payment (even though she failed to provide the services we agreed upon) because I am Colombian and Colombian women don't work and she simply does not feel like it. I have screenshots and voice recordings she sent to my husband and I to corroborate my story and support my claims that this business not only scammed me of $347.75 but also discriminated against me because of my national origin which is against the law. I've tried to request the money via Zelle many times and she had denied every single one of my requests. Her ****** reviews are full of other civilians describing similar events where she stole their "deposit" which is really and part- payment because it's half of the total and she either hasn't shown up to their events or has go e *** after receiving the deposit. This platform doesn't support screen record which is how I recorded the voice notes she sent me but please feel free to email me so I can send them over. This woman is overcommitting for events and stealing from people
