My agent was patient and took the time to help me understand the way the potential plans worked. This was only my 2nd time to purchase travel insurance. I felt that, with traveling out of the country, Ii needed to add the reassurance of securing medical coverage abroad. My agent was patient and answered all of my questions. I called on a Sunday and got a knowledgeable agent who answered all of my questions. Aardy had an AARP rate on the policy that worked best for me. That saved me about 10% on the premium. I purchased the minimum amount of coverage to lock in the waiver of preexisting conditions. As my trip gets closer, Ill increase that amount to cover nonrefundable expenses as incurred. *** bought travel insurance for trips in the past. Based on my experience with the Aardy agent, it will be my go to agent in the future.
