In search of moving company,called few. As of talking to employe of Finest Fellas moving company it seems all good.He told me and my spouse ( we had it on speaker) they do everything they pack they have boxes they assembled and disassemble allincluded in price and they match the price.Well estimated was $2850 with All items were in boxes ready and packed, furniture wrapped, only 2 TVs and mirror wasnt and I told them about and they (he) said no problem we do everything dont worry everything is included.Ok sound reasonable so we need to make down payment of $999 Few days after I call them that Im not taking couch, mattress and 8 chairs their answer was ok we not going to remove it in case you have other *********** the day of pick up driver made his estimate little over $7000 wow tell me I have more boxes and stuff (some boxes was literally like shoebox) ok but i removed huge couch , king mattress, chairs and over $4000 more!?I called costumer service (she said she is the manager and I cant talk to nobody else) and that she can remove $250 for packing 2 TVs..I said Im shocked about your price now and she said thats worst case scenario can be less when the truck go on scale.When I called and started to sign with them they never mentioned by pound.I told her about matching price she said its no more negotiable. Negotiable I never negotiated it you gave me estimate over the phone and now telling me $4000 more?!? I said i want to cancel and she said youre deposit or first payment is not refundable and again nobody mentioned that on first call everything was so nice and easy just to sign with them and after they dont care about costumer. I found many similar situations online about company and they are aware that when youre are ready to move and all your stuff packed you really dont have lot of choice and they take advantage. I started my move mid march 2025. One week later, I called and canceled within their cancelation policy deadline. It has since been two weeks, no sign of a refund coming my way. I have emailed three times, no response. Everytime I call its "ill talk to someone" or "its in line."At this point, I need those funds for my move end of april. I need it back ****. I chose to use Finest Fellas for my move because they said they weren't brokers. However, the truck that moved my belongings was from i-Mobili ********************************************* and the movers said they were contracted. While the initial payment was made to Finest Fellas, the final payment was made directly to i-Mobili. Finest Fellas originally gave me a quote based on estimated weight of my items, but the **** said that if my final weight was less, the price would go down. They also said I would not be charged for any additional weight as long as I didn't add any items. When the movers sent the final payment link, there was no final weight given or proof of charges. Even without proof, they charged me for additional weight. The **** originally told me that they would blanket wrap my glass items really well and that boxing was not necessary. The first thing that the movers said when they showed up was that all long distance moves REQUIRE boxing of glass items. This is not stated in the contract that you sign, or else I could've boxed them myself. When I tried to call my **** right away to discuss this, they weren't available. I've tried to call them 4 times since my move started on 3/28/25 and they never called me back to discuss the boxing charges additional weight charges.Instead, I got transferred to ***** who is very rude and will not hold the employees accountable for what they are selling their clients on. I told her the calls were recorded and she could check what the **** told me, but that didn't matter to her. They charge extra for carrying items long distance, which is written in the contract. I told ***** I didn't have any proof of the distance, just an extra $400 charge to pay. She said she checked a video of the distance, we did the calculations, and they overcharged me $175.***** told me she would send my final paperwork on 3/31/25 with my weight tickets, but I still haven't received anything. On Sunday 3/30/25, she said she would be sending me my final paperwork with my weight tickets. I didn't receive anything, so I emailed the company at ********************************************************************* on Monday 3/31/25 for the paperwork. I did not receive a response. On Tuesday 4/1/25, I received a text from the owner and asked him for the final paperwork. I have not received any emails back or correspondence today 4/2/25. I scheduled a tentative move for February 27th 2025 on December 23rd 2024 due to health reasons (CHF) I cannot relocate at this time I Canceled the move Via email and phone January 27th 2025 they gave me my deposit back ******* and then 5 days later canceled it And now refuse to speak to me and I asked what they'd like me to do and was told to hang up the phone. I hired finest fellows in November '24 to move me from ******* back to *****. Once they received my deposit, they could not be reachable by phone or email and no one would return my calls. I found out on day of move they outsourced other movers without disclosing, they didn't have my correct cell and almost canceled day of and then the other moving company ripped me off, lied to me and held my items hostage longer than we agreed upon and refused to bring me my items in a timely manner that we was contracted with finest fellas. The other company holding my items longer than we agreed upon affected my personal life. I did not have access to clothing medication or medical files I urgently needed for appointments back in *****. This affected my life dramatically on all levels, and my health is not well, and so it did not help other medical issues I was already dealing with. A box of items is missing. Both companies have not bothered to respond to countless emails and phone calls. They insist I file an insurance claim instead of just helping me find the missing items. One owner reached out apologizing, offered $500 and I've attached his text message showing that, but email and phone correspondence was lacking and no refund was actually followed through and my missing items have never been found. The owner insisted I remove my review before sending me the refunded money, Which I did not agree upon and he did not tell me, until after I signed a release that I had to take down my bad reviews first before receiving the refund, which I don't think is a good protocol. I think you should send me the refund, whether I take down the review or not. Maybe he needs to work on all the internal issues and lack of communication with the company, but be accountable for what they did wrong and try to resolve it. Instead of making people take down reviews that are valid. He also offered $100 to replace the missing items that he did not send that either.Business Response

On December 24, 2024, I booked with Finest Fellas via a telephone transaction on my credit card - $500,00. I told ***** ********, one of the principals, who I made this transaction with, that this move was contingent upon the sale of my co-op and there was a chance my buyer may be denied. He said no problem and I could get a full refund. I have been trying to secure said refund for over a month now and there is always an excuse: accounting manager is out, send an email (which was never responded to) call back (no return call, only voice mail). I hired them based on their claims of being a family-owned, non-broker company that promised my belongings would be handled with care and delivered directly to me by finest fellas the same team that picked them up. Instead a completely different company, M&S Trucking and Storage, showed up to pick up my items. Then I was told by Kirra that my belongings would arrive within 3 to 15 business days, When I requested a refund of my deposit, I was flat out refused, despite never signing a contractonly a receipt and an inventory list! Kirra insisted I had signed a contract said shed send a copy! Kirra sent me someone else's contract, complete with their personal information, claiming it was an "accident." When I inquired about the whereabouts of my items, I was repeatedly told she was unaware of their location and it hadn't been assigned a driver, only to later find out they were in a storage facility in ******** and had been moved into several different trucks including a semi trailer with other peoples items. Then the Driver informed me they picked it up from a storage unit in *******! I was contacted by yet another companysaying they would be arriving between 2-5 (M&S power), when they did arrive at my home they attempted to blackmail me into paying a significantly higher fee than our original quote. They had no weight slips for my items, yet the quoted amount by finest fellas was $0.60 per pound. My belongings were shuffled around from one truck to another, into a storage facility, and finally delivered by yet another unassociated company that tried to drive off with my things if I didnt comply with their outrageous demands even AFTER they backed into my chain link fence with their truck! In the end, items which were not only late but arrived damaged, with several items missing and others that did not belong to me at all. This is unacceptable! I am rejecting this response because:I called the customer service line and they directed me to continue with The claims department and I might have to go back and forth with them several times and they still haven't received the documentation from the third party that was not supposed to be used in the first place and they'll have to wait for that from that company. And it might be a while before I can get any kind of a resolution because of the fact that they haven't gotten any of the paperwork. I would like a free refund for being lied to and my things being broken and them backing into my fence with their truck which we have on video and their weight slips will be incorrect due to the fact that they had a lot of plywood on the back of their truck so our things could not be accurately weighed. Which we do have pictures of as well. We would like a full refund.

This is the video of them backing into my fence! And all the plywood they had in the back of Thier truck to adjust weight of my items on Thier form there was a bunch of other building materials in the back of the truck as well with my items. They can not charge me for the weight of my items if they do not have an accurate weight. Not to mention the people that delivered were not the people I hired to move my things and blackmailed me into paying them way above my quoted amount and tried to drive away with my things if I didn't agree to pay them. Reluctantly I finally stopped them and paid them when they were driving out of my driveway (I do have this conversation on video as well then admitting they had no weight slips and weren't supposed to have the items) I only paid it because all my military documents, kids and my birth certificates social security cards and my autistic sons medical records and sensory items and medicine was on that truck along with all Thier keepsakes and all our furniture. We didn't want it going to another undisclosed location with people we never gave permission for them to have it in the first place! Let me know if you want me to send any more documentation. This company is a scam, false advertising and a huge set up for families to be taken advantage of and hurt by. I have everything including Thier adds and the contract I signed that did not give anyone else permission to have my things. Recently my house caught fire and the only two rooms spared were the basement and garage. I called Finest Fellas on Feb 28, 2025 to get a quote on moving some tools out of the garage and Christmas decorations and shelving from the basement. I spoke with ****** ******** and he said that there minimum weight for moving was 2000 pounds and that I wouldn't be at that weight but they would write it up at 2000. The charge was $1.20 per pound which equaled out to be $2400.00. I agreed to the terms and signed the contract. When the movers showed up, I could instantly tell that the main person, Axel was going to try and upsell and charge me more money. He said that with the additional items, basically 2 bikes, 3 extra boxes I forgot about, and an outdoor hammock that my price would now be over $6000.00!! So my weight apparently went from under 2000 pounds to over 5000 pounds!!?? I in no way even came close to doubling the weight estimate we originally discussed. I told them I could not afford that and asked them to leave. Then I called Finest Fellas two days later to make sure they cancelled the move and refunded my $840 and they told me I could not get a refund! This company is PURE SCAM! I demand a full refund of the amount paid as they did not fulfill there contract. Good day *****, it has come to our attention our services did not satisfied your needs. It is apparent that you have added additional items beyond what you told us when you received your quote, therefor the price goes up. It was not until we arrived that we became aware. We would have been able to move the items you contracted us for, for the price you agreed.
To all prospective customers, our prices are based on the items you provide at the time of your estimate. If additional items are added, then obviously the price has to increase. If you choose to move the items only on the item list, you rate will NOT increase.

I called Finest Fellas Moving and Storage *** on February 14, 2025 for a quote on a move. I saw their advertisement on ********. The representative, *******, quoted me a price at $2631.00 to move from ******** ***** to ******************** for February 17, 2025. I paid $920.00 for a deposit. The movers arrived on 2/17, they provided a new total for $3420 for the move. I understood the price increase since I had more items than I originally listed and gave my consent to pay $3420 total. I signed the paperwork, paid $1250 for pick up, and was told to wait for a call on February 25th for delivery date and timeframe. The delivery date was not provided until 2/28 for 3/3. On March 3rd the scheduled delivery was not made. I never receive a call from Finest Fellas Moving. I attempted to call the company three times and left a voicemail.I have not received contact from the company and do not know where my items are and I do not know when they will be delivered.
