These people have very very deceptive pricing. 2020 Ram 1500 priced at $24,320 on Cars.com. Fine print advises $999 admin fee and $299 documentation fee. When the price sheet came forward there was a $2895.00 additional charge for "Pompano Advantage". There was also a $500 tax fee, for which we had already told the dealership we were out of state and don't pay FL taxes and documentation would be handled in SC where we live. I have no idea what a $2895 Pompano Advantage is, but this type of pricing is what gives car dealerships such a bad name. When I questioned the price, "it is what it is" is basically what I got with a "best price you'll get". (not even close on that one) *** in SCLou Bachrodt Chevrolet

So sorry you are having an issue, we certinly are not trying to upset anyone. Buying a vehicle should be a happy time in your life. With that said our dealer fee of the 999 is not fine print, in fact we are the only dealership last i checked that has it listed next to the price without searching for fine print, check out (www.pompanochevy.com) What you will see click on any new or used vehicle top right corner fees are listed next to price. Our dealership is one of the only ones that have no hidden fees etc. If there is any accessories on a vehicle you will need to pay extra for this, also says it everywhere.
My suggestion is to pick one out with what you want and nothing else, you will pay exactly what any of our advertising says.
Again the delaerhip in Pompano has no hidden fees at all.
Please stop in and see me i will go through it myself, and help you pick out a vehicle that you want.
Thank You

The parts department staff at this business desperately need a ****** in customer service and BASIC RESPECT. Yelling over the phone and insulting someone for not speaking English fluently is not only unprofessional but blatantly discriminatory. We were treated with shocking disrespect and rudeness. It is appalling that in this day and age, such behavior is tolerated. Discrimination should never be acceptable, especially in a customer-facing role. If you value respect and fair treatment, avoid this place at all costs. And if I find out that this ever happens again to my family member, I will be taking legal actions.Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet

Good morning,
Our Parts manager had a conversation with all staff members and then called ************** back apologizing for the behavior she had experienced. He informed her that this type of behavior is unacceptable and would not be tolerated.
************** expressed her appreciation for reaching out to respond to the complaint.

Either they are the biggest bunch of idiots or biggest crooks I have ever encountered. To start out with the "Great deal" they gave me on my truck was made up for on the excessive interest they charged me for interest fees after they *** rushed me into the office. I was then shown a computer screen with an application and was not thoroughly explained a single aspect of the terms of the application, I was simply told push ok to sign here for over half an hour straight. When I requested a hard copy of the paperwork I was supplied with a useless flash drive of the paperwork that I could not access because they had not supplied me with the access key. After repeated requesting of a hard copy for weeks I was finally given a hard copy after 3 weeks only to discover to my amazement that I was paying over $20,000 in interest on a $50,000 truck. Then, a few more weeks later I was informed by the *** that my drivers license was suspended due to the dealership not informing the *** that the plate from my previous truck has been transferred to the new truck which flagged the plate as lost to which I had to spend an entire day at the *** settling the situation myself on top of having to pay over $250 in fines due to their negligence. Then, to my amazement again, their finance team had made me aware that my trade-in had not been included in my deal due to the sales team not informing them I had even come in with a trade-in. Which caused my previous truck to just sit on their lot for over a month. When I informed their sales team of this, they claimed that the trade-in was in fact included even though their own paperwork proves otherwise. When I confronted them about this, I requested to instead just retrieve my old truck back to which I was told by the manager ***** to quote: "Come get your truck and go F*** yourself." Overall a complete nightmare of an experience. If it were possible to give a negative rating I would. Like I said either complete idiots or complete crooks.Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet

Dear BBB,
I am writing in response to the recent complaint filed against our business. I
am sorry to hear about the issues the customer experienced with the
transaction and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly.
Regarding the interest rates mentioned in the complaint, please note that
these rates are determined by the lending institutions and are based on credit
risk.
Our loans are structured as simple interest loans, giving customers the
flexibility to pay off the loan early without any penalty. If a customer can
obtain a better rate elsewhere, they are welcome to pay off the loan with us at
no additional cost.
I understand the preference for paper documents, and I apologize for any
inconvenience caused by our electronic document process. However, all
customers are provided with a flash drive containing all necessary
paperwork at the time of signing. Passwords for accessing these documents
are set by the customer during the signing process.
Regarding the trade-in process, there was a paperwork error on our part that
resulted in the trade not being properly entered.
As a result, the customer was able to retrieve the trade-in vehicle at no
additional cost. The price agreed upon with our dealership included the
trade-in, and we incurred a significant loss due to the error, we lost an entire
vehicle.
I am hoping this explanation clarifies the situation and alleviates any
concerns the BBB may have. We dont feel this complaint warrants posting.
Please reach out to me directly if you have any further questions or require
additional assistance.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Sincerely,
*************************

I called to have warranty work done on my 2023 Camaro. The person who answered needed my name spelled 3 times, and each letter sounded out. The name was still spelled incorrectly. They took down each warranty issue (incorrectly). I arrived for the 8 am appt. The service advisor assigned doesn't start work until 8:30. Another person took down my issues and corrected what was sent to him. About 9 am the assigned service advisor called me and I had to again correct the list of issues I reported. She stated it would take 4-5 days to diagnose ONLY my issues. "Unfortunately," I would have to pay for a rental car during that time. AFTER the diagnosis they MIGHT pay for a rental car as the repairs are being completed.Unacceptable. I wrote off my wasted morning and frustration and picked up my car. There is no logic in buying a $40k+ car and then having to pay to rent a car when the new one is defective! I traded up to avoid these type of issues/costs.Their address would be a great place to open a service center.Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet

So sorry for any issues you are having.
This will happen at any dealership, as this is the way all the new Vehicle warranty works from manufactor.
Once the vehicle is diagnosed a rental is covered on all repairs requiring the vehicle to be kept over night.
If there is anything i can do please let me know, we value your business.
Thank You

The ****************** is disgusting unprofessional and horrible. My car started off as an oil change, on the ride home from picking up my car I had the same issues. They told me to bring the car back, I did. They kept my car for 3weeks called me and said ok it's fixed, got the car 2days later it's doing the same thing. I called, bring it back, I bring it back now I need a Battery for$600 just to continue to find out what's wrong with my car, that could or could not be under warranty. Meaning I still may have to pay for what's wrong, mind you, I've not had the car for a year yet. Why couldn't they have caught the Battery issue the first 2xs my car was there in the shop??!! What they are trying to do is stall me as the warranty slowly goes out. So not a way to do business. I'll never buy another ***** in my Life.... that's how this Service makes me feel. Mind you, I need my car to go back and forth to Dailysis Treatment and I took my car early because I'm getting ready for a Transplant. And this occurred smh....Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet

I am so sorry for what you are going through.
There is no reason why we would try and stall you for the warranty.
We get paid the same dollars under warranty or if the customer was to pay.
It benefits us to do the work for you under warranty vs customer pay.
I have been in my position here with the company for ********************************** i take customer satisfaction very seriously.

My husband brought his 2017 *************** for diagnosis regarding rough gear shifting and was told it needed the transmissions to be flushed. They flushed it 8/9/23 and upon driving out of dealership it was driving worst. He called service department manager and was told it needed the new fluid to circulate and to drive it for a few days that was Wednesday. He called back the following Monday when engine was racing and wasnt going into reverse. Service manager said to bring car in the next day we drop truck off Wednesday 8/16/23 at 645am. When my husband called at the end of the day he was told they were busy and didnt examine truck. He called back Thursday and was told they would call him with result at end of the day. At 5pm he was told they found metal shavings in the transmission fluid and it would cost him $4200 to rebuild transmission or $8200 for new one. We have been given the run around when we told them its their fault because they worked on transmission last. Service manager claimed he called headquarters and was told the damaged transmission is no fault of theirs. We have a rental car for 10 days $458 that we had to extend for another $230 at our expense. *** Bachrodt ***** customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Now we are trying to either get another dealership to replace transmission at our expense or trade the truck. I will never use them again and will tell everyone I meet not to use them. The truck was not bucking and was going from drive to reverse prior to them flushing the transmission. How is it no fault of theirs!! Their service department is unprofessional and discourteous. One of their service worker actually told my husband that he was busy!! So our time is not valuable? My husband works for the city and didnt have the time yo keep calling or going in to their office frequently due to no return calls and getting voice mails. I will be calling their headquarters as well as seeking legal assistance. NOT HAPPY WITH THEM!!Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet

ABSOLUTELY The Worst! I purchased my car here to begin with brand new and only to bring here for service when needed, when in December 2022 i've been fighting back & forth with getting proper repairs. And now in March 2023 i'm still going back and forth and my car is still at the dealership with everybody giving me the run around!Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet
