Chancellor Institute, Inc. Response

Dear BBB,
This is in response to #******, Ms. **************************** her name is not ***********************. ************ was enrolled into Chancellor Institute's ****-month Practical Nursing program in April of 2019. She was academically dismissed, after failure to meet program benchmarks in March of 2022. She was with Chancellor for close to 3 years of a ***** month program in and out of school.
During her time in the program, she was to be academically dismissed early in the program, as she was failing to meet program benchmarks at that time. She asked me to allow for her to stay in the program and that she would improve her performance. I agreed to allow for her to continue. She improved in a few areas, however she still struggled in the nursing education program. Fast forward to Winter /Spring 2022 for her to Exit out and graduate, she failed to meet the graduation benchmarks after two attempts of course retake, this is the institutional policy. During the time that she was enrolled the team at Chancellor worked with ****** to help her accomplish her nursing education goals. At Chancellor Institute we uphold the policy of integrity and compliance to its highest in the community and on a national level. We would never ******* a student out of tuition money. ****** paid cash for the program; this should have given her the motivation to work harder in the program and graduate. I remember a conversation with her when she did not meet the passing benchmarks from the 1st Capstone class. I stated to her, "if you do not meet the benchmark this second time of retaking the class, as when a student fails the nursing assessment, they fail the entire class. She was informed that would not graduate. Her exact words to me " oh you do not have to worry about me passing, *** going to pass"! I said "okay".
Additionally, ******'s behavior can be unpolite, which was witnessed many times throughout her enrollment at Chancellor Institute. Recently she sent me the Campus Director a disturbing email, that *** still trying to process. It is unsettling, when I was the administrator that helped her on so many occasions, while in the program.
In conclusion *********************, may request an official transcript to be sent to another institution.
