The door that was installed is not the same door on the contract. The door I signed for was a double door which has 5 panes of glass. The door that they installed is just one pane of glass. The door is incorrectly installed. The door is hanging down so they intentionally left the door with no strike place installed. The strike plate doesnt fit. Holes of anchors were elongated irregularly also internally not covering the holes. Ive contacted the company and when they said theyre coming i took off of work missing 5 days of work. The company never showed up or called.

United Windows and Doors of South Florida issued a contract to us to install hurricane impact windows and doors for the entire house, and took a deposit of 50% of the entire amount as a cheque from ******* of Transaction: September 8, 2023.******* from United Windows and Doors of South Florida, and ***** ****** both came to my house and gave a presentation of their product, workmanship, and got me to sign a contract. ***** ****** took measurements, and confirmed in emails, and text messages that the materials for the project were being procured, and had a long lead time. After me regularly following up, I was told by Mr. ******* that the entire crew at his company was down with Covid during the months of May - July, and hence, could only schedule for mid August (August 12th of 2024). On the date of the install, I was then told that Mr. ***** ****** is no longer with the company, and the trim that was ordered for me was of the wrong color. I then asked Mr. ******* to show me an inventory of all materials ********** this point of time, on August 27, 2024, I received an email from United Windows and Doors of South Florida stating that they can no longer complete the work, and they would send me the refund in 2 parts in 45 days. Repeatedly asking them for how the refund would be issued is also not being fruitful. In essence, I have been extremely patient, with providing them leeway in good spirit for Covid related, and health delays, but they only seem to have excuses, and now do not seem to answer the calls, or have me leave a message in an outdated answering machine system. Please assist in recovering my deposit in its entirety.

We contracted with R. ******* ********* of United *********************************************** of South Florida on January 31st, 2024, we gave a 50 percent deposit of $17,000 per contract of $34,000 for 10 window and 5 doors. It took several months to get the permit approved. Finally after many many phone calls, the company arrived with part of our order on August 5th, 2024 (10 windows only). We were told the Front Door, Bathroom Door and 3 Sliding Glass Doors were at the warehouse and were going to be delivered the next day for installation. ******* demanded we pay 40 percent deposit of materials ($13,600) of the contract before they would install the 10 windows even though the 5 doors were not delivered yet. We paid it in good faith, but the doors were never delivered as promised and per contract and he continued excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't deliver the doors and install and finish the rest of our job for our home. Our home is only partially completed. We continuously asked over the next several weeks about the doors we paid for and we got no answer. At this point we have paid 90 percent of our contract and per contract the 5 doors should be at our house and they are not. So essentially ******* has stolen our money for the 5 doors that we paid for and also part of the installation of our 5 doors. We would like to have the money for the 5 doors plus installation costs of 5 doors plus the permit fee of $455.23 refunded back to us so we can contract with another company to complete the job. Thanks for your assistance in getting this resolved.

This company has failed to abide by the contract signed. Believing that installation of all windows and doors would be fulfilled according to the contract I paid over $21k to the owner the first week of June 2023. The owner promised me 6-8 weeks for installation. Constant delays arose. ******** excuses from the owner when I questioned the litany of delays. Finally, the windows were installed in January, six months after the initial deposit. At that time the owner requested additional money, even though the contract stated all windows and doors needed to be on site. I paid the second installment of over $17k believing installation of all windows and doors was occurring. Not so. The doors have yet to be installed and the owner is no longer returning my calls and texts.

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the delay in processing your permit. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Upon investigating your case, we discovered that the delay was due to a necessary revision required for approval from the county. We understand the frustration this may have caused, and we worked diligently to ensure that the revision was promptly addressed and approved.
We are pleased to inform you that the revision has now been successfully approved by the county, and we are moving forward with processing your permit without any further delays.

      Dear ************************,
I hope this message finds you well. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced regarding the delay in starting your project and the submission of the necessary permit for your windows and doors.
After carefully reviewing your case, we would like to provide some insight into the challenges we have encountered. The delay primarily stems from complexities related to the permit process, specifically concerning two openings. One of the openings raised concerns related to egress, while the other presented challenges related to pressure loads.
Ensuring the safety and compliance of your project is our top priority, and these issues necessitated additional attention to meet the required standards. Unfortunately, such matters are beyond our immediate control and are subject to the thorough review and approval processes mandated by local authorities.
Please be assured that our team is diligently working to resolve these permitting issues as quickly as possible. We understand the importance of your project and the impact it has on day to day business. We want to emphasize that, in adherence to regulatory requirements, we are unable to proceed with the installation of windows and doors until the permit is successfully obtained.
We acknowledge the frustration that delays can cause, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We want to assure you that we are committed to resolving these matters promptly, and we will keep you informed of the progress every step of the way.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We value your business and are dedicated to ensuring your complete satisfaction with the final outcome of your project.

      Dear **********************,

I hope this letter finds you well. We appreciate your business and your decision to work with United Windows and Doors of South FL LLC for your project. This letter is to address a matter
of utmost importance regarding the contract you entered into with our company.

On 03/20/2023, we mutually entered into a contract for Impact Windows and Doors Installation (the "Contract"). As per the terms of the Contract, you agreed to make a payment of 50% of the total project cost the day of the contract's execution to allow us to commence the project.
We regret to inform you that as of the date of this letter, we have not received the agreed-upon 50% payment. The delay in receiving this payment has hindered our ability to proceed with the project, as outlined in the Contract. This delay constitutes a breach of the Contract terms and conditions.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, leading to payment delays. However, it is essential for both parties to honor their obligations as per the Contract to ensure a smooth and successful project execution. To rectify this situation, we kindly request that you make the full outstanding 50% payment, within 30 days from the date of this letter.

Failure to make this payment within the stipulated time frame will compel us to consider legal remedies to enforce the Contract's terms, including seeking damages for the breach. We sincerely hope that it does not come to that, and we can resolve this matter amicably.

Please contact our office at ************** to discuss the payment and address any concerns you may have regarding this issue. We are open to negotiating a resolution that is mutually beneficial and ensures the project's continued progress.

We appreciate your immediate attention to this matter, and we look forward to a prompt resolution. We value your business and remain committed to providing the highest level of service and quality products to you.

      Sincerely,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address a matter of utmost importance regarding our contractual agreement for the Steinfeld Project. We appreciate your business and the opportunity to work with you.
Upon reviewing our records, it has come to our attention that the full deposit outlined in our contract has not been received as stipulated. We have tried to use the credit card on file but it was declined. We also showed up to the project site where the wife gave us another card and it also was declined. We value transparency and adherence to the terms outlined in our agreements, and unfortunately, the incomplete deposit has led to a breach of the contract terms.
In accordance with the terms of our agreement, we must receive the full deposit before proceeding with the scheduled work. Regrettably, due to the outstanding balance, we are required to halt all work until the deposit is paid in full.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are open to discussing any challenges or concerns you may have. Our aim is to find a resolution that aligns with the terms of our agreement and allows us to resume work on your project promptly.
To facilitate the completion of your project, we kindly request that the remaining deposit be submitted at your earliest convenience. Once we receive the full deposit, we will promptly resume work and proceed with the agreed-upon schedule.
Should you have any questions or if there are specific details you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact us at ************************************************************************* We are committed to working together to find a solution that ensures the successful completion of your project.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt attention to this matter.
