    BBB files show a pattern of failure to eliminate the basic cause of consumer complaints.

    Specifically, BBB files indicate All Florida Safety Institute, LLC has a pattern of disputes where consumers are not receiving their lessons that are being paid for in full. In some circumstances the instructor will not show resulting in a reschedule or a no call no show. Consumers are also indicating problems with contacting the company regarding incomplete lessons.

    On August 17, 2022, BBB sent correspondence to All Florida Safety Institute, LLC requesting their voluntary cooperation in providing BBB the steps it will implement to eliminate the pattern of customer complaints. All Florida Safety Institute, LLC did not respond to BBB's correspondence.

      I hired this company and paid them $1300 to teach my daughter how to drive at an intermediate to advanced level. 24 hours of instruction and a driving prep test and road test. The instructors were lazy, my daughter ended up driving around our neighborhood 90% of the lessons, 1 time on the highway and most lessons were not even the 90 minute duration, some were less than 30 minutes. The driving test at the end of the lessons was cancelled on us twice and no one from this company ever communicates with the customers. I leave messages, send emails for information and NO one ever contacts you back. They don't allow you to speak with a supervisor and most of the time when you call in they will put you on hold indefinitely or hang up on you. no accountability with this company and I was ripped off for the services I was suppose to receive. I want a refund, the driving prep and test have never taken place and this company refuses to contact me . Please help.

      Customer had a lesson cancel due to impending Hurricane Warning as per our guidelines. Customer later had a cancellation due to a covid quarantine. Customers are expected to understand that there may be schedule cancellation due to acts of God and illness which should be understood. Customer had a scheduled road test and practice that was available which were rescheduled for the same day with no delay. Customer may fill a a request for special consideration, however as it stands there is no reason to have missed the same day available appointments. There is no need for a refund, we will waive any rescheduling fee that may have been assessed.

      The demands and accounts from the customer do not make sense. Attached is the students schedule in which they have a 24 hour lesson package and have successfully completed sixteen (16) 1.5 hour lessons which equals 24 hours. She scheduled a additional practice and road test which is not paid for and the extra hour of transportation was a credit. There is no reason for a complaint, much less a refund as the entire package was completed prior to the even missed unpaid appointment on the students schedule. This is an adult tantrum requesting something that isn't even reasonable and using the BBB forum and Facebook as online terrorism to extort a response that isnt due. To be further clear Tropical Storm was over the area on July 9th the date of the missed and made up lesson of which under a tropical storm (hurricane) warning we are not providing lessons. We are sorry we are not able to accommodate the demands of the parent and in any venue there is always that small percentage of customers with unrealistic views and demands and they attract the attention to their demands and try to ruin the opportunity for people that need the services we provide. No one on earth is providing refunds on a fully completed program and if you check the dates you will find that our assessment is accurate and the is some further investigation necessary into the customer's claims. There is no refund due.

      I am rejecting this response because: See attached schedule from All Florida and NO LESSONS OR TESTING scheduled, everything these people say is a lie.  I will be submitting the responses from other folks who were ripped off by them as well and their contact information to the BBB so you can see it's a pattern with this company.  Lying and Cheating.  I have filed complaints with the FTC and other Federal Organizations and submitted all my proof along with the other folks who are doing the same.  People are tired of being ripped off by this company.

      I feel like this company has stolen my money. I paid online and then wanted to make a reservation for my teen to have driving lessons. I called and was on hold for 20 min. The online portal was not showing any availability for months. I emailed, no answer. I called again and was on hold for another 15 min and then a message came on saying to leave a message and someone would call me back. There is a list of local offices, but when you call your local office it goes to a main answering service. That was at 11:30am. Someone finally called me back at 2:40pm. I asked for a refund and i find out that they Do NOT offer refunds. How can a legitimate company not offer refunds? I now do not trust this company and want my money back. I do not want them taking my daughter on the road. I have looked up this company one line and read reviews and there are many like me that say this company is a scam.

      Customer's account of the process in inaccurate. She booked on 08.17 NOT on 07.30. We have consistent notes and documentation that the customer is not being accurate in the representation of the account of action. She has been belligerent and aggressive to staff. She is not entitled to any refund and unless there is a reversal of the aggressive nature when will forfeit all schedules as per the aggressive action addressed in our terms of service. We are educators here to save lives, we have a 100% non-tolerance of aggressive behavior. We try to be very flexible and with over 5000 5-star reviews we are confident that we are working as hard as possible especially through covid to make sure we provide the best service and life saving training we can.

      On 6/28/21, I called this business looking to enroll my son in driving classes. I was very clear and said many times that I need he will get his license by no later than 8/9/21 and that he had a very complicated and busy schedule; they told me was totally doable, and classes will start in 3 weeks (7-19), they told me my money was not refundable and that if a class was canceled in less than 48 hours of the class starts it was a $40 fee. My son's classes were scheduled for late August and rescheduled after I complained. They canceled my son's classes twice in less than 12 hours of class starting, and when I requested my $40 fee for each canceled class in less than 48 hours, they stopped answering my emails. Due to these problems, I decided to review the fees, and they are charging an abusive amount for CC fees of $ 28.25 which was never mentioned at the time of enrollment. Once they receive the payment they do not honor the contract. Two weeks have passed and I have not received my money

      Per our Operations Manager, ****** ****** who directly runs the area. "This student has completed their entire lesson package and was not given any fees for cancellation.

      What they are asking is that we pay them a fee of $40 because our instructors were out sick and needed to cancel.  

      The cancellations are due to our strict Covid19 policies and procedures that we have in place to protect our customers.  

      The second instructor that cancelled has passed away due to Covid19 complications. 

      No refunds or payments will be issued to this client as their deadline was met, and the cancellations were made with their health, safety, and best interest in mind.

      I spoke with the mother myself and got their lesson plan completed one week before their deadline and she seemed happy with that.  I feel sorry for the inconvenience the two cancellations may have caused, but we have since done what we can to make it up to her and her son."

      They took 2 weeks to set my appointment, I paid for a half hour test, examiner took 5-10 minutes, was very unprofessional, tried to sell me services in order to pass a test, which the way she worded it, they will only pass you if you buy practice hours, which are hundreds of dollars. They never apologized for it taking 2 weeks to even be able to book a test, their system was terrible, I had to call half a dozen times for them to even try and work on it, they continued to make excuses, until one day I had to waste time in my day to go in to their office for them to even get a supervisor which they should have done on day 1 to process this. They never offered a refund or discount even though I paid full price for services that I booked 2+ weeks ahead of time on July 30th.

      This customer had a hold on their DMV record, as with any customer with a hold we sent a request to the state of Florida and it was released after 2 days of our request. Customer received a testing appointment and failed their road test. They are not entitled to a refund and the state contract for testing exclusively prohibits any refunds for failure of the test. The customer is attempting to circumvent the rules and needs to practice their driving more before testing again. Their complaint needs to be with the State of Florida and the FLHSMV and the State Legislature, not with us. We try to be very flexible and with over 5000 5-star reviews we are confident that we are working as hard as possible especially through covid to make sure we provide the best service and life saving training we can.

      We bought a package of driving lessons for our son. The company does not answer their phone and rarely returns calls. They will cancel lessons without notice then want to charge you for rescheduling or canceling lessons. They reassign instructors without prior knowledge. They are unprofessional, inconsistent, and simply a disgrace to a company. Considering they are supposed to teach kids how to drive, the inconsistencies make it difficult for any teen to learn to drive. They should not be in business at all. There are plenty of complaints and I should have heeded the warning.

      All lessons are scheduled and resolved. Customer has phone that rejects calls with unknown numbers and tool awhile for the manager to get ahold of the customer. Our State Director is personally managing her schedule. Even when an occasional students schedule fall through the cracks, we wish to resolve it in their favor and with over 5000 5-star reviews we are confident that we are working as hard as possible especially through covid to make sure we provide the best service and life saving training we can. We are very efficient, however mistakes can happen and we try to process those corrections with priority status.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Although the owner's response is not completely accurate. They did call me to reschedule, they are not 5-star rated and I am not alone in saying that they may reschedule only if escalated as my issue was escalated 2 or 3 times and finally the owner called me. Since that rescheduled call we had another two classes missed without notice. So I don't anticipate that my son will get his remaining completed.

      They change your appointments and they don’t make it clear that they’re changing your appointment therefore you miss your appointment and they charge you a $40 fee when you disputed they have a I don’t care pay it or we won’t we won’t schedule you for your driving lesson which you have already paid with no refund . You have no choice but to pay it or you lose the other $200.00 that you pay to enroll

      Customer has missed 3 appointments. Customer claimed they were 'confused' and customer was responded to as a no-show. Student was aggressive on phone to scheduler. Customer has been rescheduled again. Customer was billed for no-show appointment. Customer may attend appointment that is currently scheduled or may use our online scheduling in their student portal if there is another available. We hope to provide the most coinvent scheduling possible, however we cannot be responsible for calling and reminding students prior to each appointment.
